Hi Cleveri, I really love your work and indeed it is very good from what I have seen from your screen shots. I wanted it also to our cheap device but the thing is I can't get it to work.. I have already rooted my device and installed the CWM recovery, I tried to port it as instructed from your thread but it seems I can't get pass to "Starting Apps" part during upgrading. hope you can give us some advice.

It is already included in my roms try downloading the 3g version and extract the recovery.img
Goophone 4GS Won't Load Recovery
Hi, I own a Goophone 4GS. After running 4GS-REC-ROOT and rebooting pressing (+) button and power button to open Chinese recovery, the device stays on the apple logo. The only way to boot the phone up again is by pressing the button inside the headphone jack. This means that I can not install a new rom, because the device won't load recovery. Is there any way you can help please?

Well, I have purchased a Goophone 4s 3G from Lovebargaining (unfortunately before than the problems with this store were published. Its a model MC 605 CH, version 5.0.2, Kernel nº 2.6.35.7, IOS version [email protected]
I do not know if these numbers are relevant, just in case.
The phone seems to work fine, but... It has not Android Market, nor Web browser, so I can not connect to the web, nor sincronize with Google. Google play ask me to activate it, but I cannot find it in the phone.
The lovebargaining people do not help`me. Do you kow if there is a apropriate ROM to install and how to do it.

Look at my tutorial on how to upgrade internal memory, as when you do it, it installs a new rom and a new recovery (http://anexonel.weebly.com/2/post/2012/03/soon.html)

So I got this spreadspectrum phone branded by SVP but its actually SPRD S580 inside running A5 cortex and MTK6517 h/w.
I managed to root it finally - the guide and threads here did not work.
Can someone PL point me to some ROMS for this phone and some gimme a direction about hunting them down,
My understanding is ROM incompatilbilty can brick your device . So I should back up my current image. Hows that done,
ALSO I find some threads where some other branded phone with MTK6517 h/w but maybe different processor , GPU etc has been offered a custom ROM upgrade to JB/ICS.
Should I try that out ? OR the ROM to be used is specific to that CPU + H/W combination : e.g. A5 + MTK6517 and same brand.

I too have SVP S580. The whatsapp - preinstalled in that phone is not working. How to root that and UNINSTALL whatsapp and install the latest version in that ? Is there any option to upgrade to ICS ? IS there any CWM for this phone ? Please send me a detailed reply with the download links and the guide to root, flash a new ICS rom and CWM method too..

SVP S580
Finally, I am able to ROOT my device with VROOT and uninstall the WHATSAPP - a pre-installed APP and NOT WORKING. Now, I installed the NEW version of WHATSAPP and is working fine for me.
Will anybody let me know whether this model (SVP S580) has any new version of ROM ?

after testing the phone for couple of days i can say it is very fast ,but i can't find out the exact Specifications of the Ram and internal memory ,in the phone shows it has 2GB ram and the internal 16 GB i tested with many Apps but each application show different result i will add some screenshots and please give your view about it and if any body has the same phone can share with us his ones.
The other question is, i want to change the ROM and add some MODs if possible?? and are there any custom ROMs i can flash? and which flashing tools i can use? and how to install CWM on it??

Thanks man, it is good phone and it has air gesture and all s4 options but the bad thing is the camera only 4 megapixel ,

My phone is bricked, but research suggests that I might be able to build a new ROM based on the "system/" of a working device, using Android Kitchen. I'm told that entering the following code into the Terminal Emulator on a working device, creates a dump of the "system/" on the SD card, which can then be used to build the custom ROM in Android Kitchen:

If you give this a go, and succeed in Android Kitchen, I'd be really grateful if you could let me know, and perhaps share the ROM? At the moment finding a copy of the stock ROM looks to be my only solution at this point!

Ok, not to worry. Unfortunately I can't give you the link to the website. The original advert said that it had an 8MP camera, however it only has 4.9MP! I challenged the seller on this, and it looks as though they have stopped advertising the phone. I bought it through Amazon and the seller was 'Active Tek' based in China. I would avoid using this seller as they clearly missold the phone to me.

Hi, I have got exactly the same device as you have. I got the parcel yesterday; it had an app pre-installed called antutu, that antutu thingy says that the device has got arm v7 CPU named universal 5410, clocked at 1.7 gigs.
Ram of about 2 gigs and internal storage of 16 GB. However today I installed an app named CPU identifier that showed that its CPU was mt6572, mali400 GPU and to a heartbreaking surprise, only 512 mb of ram. Please tell me that this CPU identifier is crap and I have got a whole 2 gigs of ram. One more thing is that device is stunningly fast and efficient in handling big apps.
I also found some flaws; smart pause and smart scroll (eye sensor) only worked once or twice; GPS never worked; hand flip only works on one side. May be these issues can be resolved by installing a custom ROM.

after testing the phone for couple of days i can say it is very fast ,but i can't find out the exact Specifications of the Ram and internal memory ,in the phone shows it has 2GB ram and the internal 16 GB i tested with many Apps but each application show different result i will add some screenshots and please give your view about it and if any body has the same phone can share with us his ones.
The other question is, i want to change the ROM and add some MODs if possible?? and are there any custom ROMs i can flash? and which flashing tools i can use? and how to install CWM on it??
so modder ,developer please help!!!!

ya , i have try almost everything to root this device ,which i must say is a really good phablet ,
and i have failed every time ,but i think the problem lies in some kind of flaw in storage configuration of device.
so ,please ,is there anyone that could help us ?

It's simply not that easy because the device is locked and unlocking isn't possible yet. The only way to overwrite the rom is through a flaw in one of the rom version. Please provide your ROM version, and provide the error you are receiving and we can see whether we can help you...

I wanna just to ask if somone you can help me root the Huawei Y3 II (LUA - L21) because I've tried almost every rooting app with no result :crying:
These are the phone Specs :
OS:Android OS, v5.1 (EMUI 3.1 Lite)
Chipset : Mediatek MT6735M
CPU :Quad-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53
GPU : Mali-T720MP2

Noone has the official stock rom for full restore.
There is only the andorid rom in romanian huawei site for our model but I dont know how to cook the rom and inject the root files.
Otherwise everythibg else wl have the result of hard braking the device.
No one click or pc root...only if someone will cook the sd rom.

Its just put it in fire and use the plastic to build other phone
This Huawei is stupid phone make me crazy .
