Hi All,
I'm completely lost on this one, I want to get help with a bricked device but do not know what the device is.
I tried to flash CM10 onto the device, but now realise I got something very wrong as touch screen does not work (totally my own fault for not reading up enough on the device prior to doing this).
Only buttons on device are volume or power, Seemingly i cannot find a combination of these that will go to bootloader, adb nor any other program i have tried will pick up the device, trying with UBUNTU 14.04 and Windows 7 both without success. Gets stuck on a screen telling me about compatibility zoom (all it needs is press ok to continue but touch screen unresponsive).
Its an unbranded 7 inch tablet with an Allwiner A10, attached should be all the photos needed for someone to work out what it is (i hope) as well as one before I broke it of its original ROM build. Has a mini usb connection on it for connecting to PC. I have tried VOL Up + Power / Vol Down + Power / Vol Up + Vol Down + Power / Vol UP whilst pluging in usb / fast tap volumes as loading / hold all three buttons for 10 seconds all without getting into boot loader.
Worst case i want to flash the original ROM back on it, best case I get new fancy ROM working once I can establish which device it is. To do either of these i need to get to bootloader (I Think).
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi everyone. First time poster here. I'm having problems with my Samsung Apollo (i5801). I was at first going to root my phone, but before even getting to there, I was trying to access recovery mode so that I could fix a USB error (USB would not be detected when plugging into PC, only charged). I don't know what ended up happening, but now I am stuck in a rut.
Trying to hold Volume Up + Down, Home, and Powering on leads to the exclamation mark triangle android screen. Pushing the home button after that just leads to a reboot.
Holding Volume Down + Home and powering on leads to a blue "DOWNLOADING DO NOT TURN OFF" screen which I get stuck on.
Holding Volume Up + Home leads to a "Forced upload by key pressing" screen.
My phone still cannot access any boot menu and still cannot connect by USB to my PC.
I have not rooted anything and the firmware was on 2.1 Eclair before this whole thing happened.
Any ideas or suggestions would be grateful. Thank you!
Well seems like you can access Download mode just fine, so how about flashing it?
2 things here
you cant actualy access a boot menu on a stock apollo, you need to flash a firmware to it first
and the reason your pc cant connect to the handset is you most likely dont have the samsung drivers installed

this thread should help plenty same handset, just called something else
hope this helps
Hello everyone.
Searching the forum I couldn't find a similar problem
I have installed the Rom Manager, and installed the CWM recovery Rom manager that is required. When I clicked the Backup Current ROM, that's when my problems started. Tablet reboots, turned on the screen as if it will boot and then shuts down. From that moment have I never managed to get further than the black screen.
I tried to connect tablet to the computer and enter the APX (press and hold, vol- and power button, or vol+ and power button or press and hold BACK and power button), but the computer does not recognize tablet at all. No birds, just nothing, screen just power up, and than shut down...
I even tried opening the tablet and removing the connector from the battery, but that didn't work too...
Has anyone had similar experiences and if anyone has an idea how to fix it?
I've got a Chinese tablet that I bought in Uruguay, the XI-TAB700 (xion.com.uy/#/tablet-multimedia-7-PR-317) It was running a rooted Android 4.1 when I bought it, and from that website it says it's an A13 tablet.
Recently it began doing the boot loop, and I've tried a wide variety of button presses to see if it had a boot recovery mode, but I've had no luck. It has a joined volume + and - button, a power button, and an embedded reset button on the back, but no combination of holding, tapping, or switching these buttons seems to be getting me a menu, just a looping Android loading screen.
So my question is, what tools are available for me to flash it without anything but USB access, and what ROM would be safe for flashing this type of tablet?
I have with me this ZTE Handset which apparently is not yet listed in gsmarena.com. I think this handset was released last December of 2013 considering it was the date set when i first turned on the device.
For quick specs it uses MTK6582, MALI-400MP, 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM
Moving on with my problem.. I have already rooted the device but cannot do any drastic modifications in fear of going into bootloop. I have already installed TWRP but it seems that I cannot access it via combination keys from a device-turned-off state. The only way I can boot into the aforementioned recovery mode is when I'm inside the Android OS using Holo Rebooter/Quick Boot app etc. While I already have a twrp backup, it cannot be used when the device goes on bootloop and/or stucked at logo for whatever reason.
Here are the combination keys I tried so far:
1. Volume Up + Power Button = ATE SIGNALING MODE, EMERGENCY CALL IS NOT AVAILABLE
2. Volume Down + Power Button = META MODE
3. Volume Up + Volume Down + Power Button = FACTORY RESET MODE (In Chinese Language)
There are only three physical buttons in the device as stated above.
Do you guys have any idea or workaround for my problem?
If combination keys are out of the options, is there a way to enter TWRP while the device is turned off using the computer?
I'm really hoping someone can help me with this problem. I've spent a lot of time looking for any online resources that can be used to solve this problem but to no avail.
Thanks in advance and good day to all of you.
that's exactly my problem too :'(
Hello guys ,please forgive my ignorance, a few days ago ı downloaded an application to my asus k011 and honestly the internal memory was almost full (someting 3,80gb) it got so slow and turned off by itself, now freezes on ASUS Logo never starts, no access to recovery mode, (Pressing home+volume up doesn't get me there either) when ı connect it to a pc, pc recognizes it as android device but not as K011 , ı have tried adb commands(recognizes the device as abcdefg1234567890 on command prompt) it did not work also, ı have heard that it is possible to recover it's recovery mode via xfstk downloader but ı couldn't find it's firmware image file. Sorry for writing too much
Had similar problem look on my post asus fonpad 7 hard bricked .
But first try this:
make sure your device is off if not press long power button. Now press together Vol + and Power button at the same time , it will vibrate but don't release keys , once ASUS logo appear release both keys and fast press just Vol - button several times until you see USB logo and Droid Boot screen and plug back usb cable .
