That happened to me, what I did was use ioroot. Without unroot my phone and now the USB debugging it's fine on every reboot.
ioroot
I think that this occurs if you use Stumproot. If you root using ioroot usb debugging stays on after a reboot. Hope that helps.

The root sticks...just the unlock has been giving me some weird actions. Like the debugging enable not sticking thru reboot. Also I have the volume in notification pull down turned off..but once in a while after closing all prevents, it appears for a second then disappears.

Okay so today, for some strange reason my phone has decided to give me a fairly thick, red outline/boarder around my screen every time I touch it. It also flashes up randomly without touching the screen. It's starting to get on my nerves now.
Any ideas on how to fix please?

What rom are you running? Any of the ICS leaks or official samsung roms?
Could be one of the developer options, There was an option I found which flashes the screen and shows touch and screen update data. Check under there. Settings--> developer options.
Other than that it could be a faulty connection to the screen.

XXLPH rooted.
& Okay thanks, I'll take a look at that. In development what would it come under?
& I doubt its a faulty connection, but I guess it's worth looking in to.
Thanks!

Yeah ics roms have that. It is in the developer options but I can't remember which option it was. Maybe Google will help. Just remember to reboot for it to take effect I think.

What it sounds like it the dev option mentioned in the title got turned on, possibly while you were checking things out. Dont know what it means but I actually turned mine on just to check it. It is definitely in the developer options. Hope this helps
Hello,
I had a problem with my Motorola Xoom WiFi.
My girlfriend was playing with my tablet and trying to guess my login pattern .. she tried it too many time until xoom shows:Too many pattern attempts!
Unfortunately sign in via Google account did not worked and WiFi network was turned off.
So I am looking for way how to unlock it without root access or hard reset>> is that possible ?
Heeeeeeeeeeeeelp
it has been a day waiting !!
Since Google Sign in didn't work and you don't have root I belive the only thing you can do is hard reset.Or try turning it off (by draining its battery if you don't have another way) and then try to unlock it or Google Sign in.If that fails then proceed to factory reset.

I don't think that emptying battery is a good idea
it tooks 10h while "on play" so what do u think the time that may took when it's just in black screen and no wifi is working?!
I really need a professional or just a simpler way>>
thanks
Did you have usb debugging enabled? If so should be able to reboot your device via adb.

no any benefit from emptying battery !!
I don't want to hard rest it !
I'm afraid you don't have a choice. Your out of options. Unless you can some how extract the memory from the device and read it through another system in order to back it up.

LG Motion bricked
I rooted my LG Motion 4g today and then I removed something I thought was probably bloatware, backed it up so I didnt think anything could possibly go this wrong, but when it restarted it just goes to a black LG screen that says "security error" "Morningcall cannot be verified". Ive researched all day long and cant figure out how to fix it. I even did a factory reset according to youtube it should have worked. and it still goes to that black screen with the security message. Can anyone help me please?

How did you root the LG Motion 4G? When I get to the point where I press Restore, I am asked to provide my "device encryption" code. I never set a code, and don't know how to find one. The tech people at LG told my friend at Metropcs that the device encryption code is for the purpose of preventing hacking, and cannot be obtained by the user. did you encounter this problem? What did you do?
thanks
Hi guys! If you would like to have an official device forum for the LG Motion 4G to be added to XDA, please submit your requests HERE.
After you have submitted your requests, I highly recommend you guys please have a look at the XDA New User Guide. It will teach you the right way to go about using XDA. You may even learn some neat tips and tricks.

Make sure to unroot & uninstall ss first. I took both of the updates via kies, ran kingo and boom. 5 minutes later im running exposed and debloating again
Selinux is still permissive
Ss still works.

First is uninstalled ss. Then ran both updates. It completely bloats it back up. Then ran kingo, rebooted after the last reboot just to be safe. Installed exposed framework, rebooted and everything was all good. There is no official changlog yet, but there should be one soon. I think it fixed the bugs that was also in the sprint note 3. I also believed it enabled AWS.

No worries. I actually forgot how fun it is to customize Android phones. It's come a long way since my HTC Evo [went to the dark iOS side for a few years], and Android has developed nicely.
Learning how to use each version takes time, searching, and assistance from each other in this great community we call XDA
Ok so apparently Kingo is still not detecting my phone. Debugging mode is turned 'ON' and USB debugging is checked. When I look at the 3 options for USB connections I see Media device (MTP), Camera (PTP) and Media device (USB3.0). None of these allow the program to see my phone.

Disabling Super SU and OEM Unlock checkboxes let me add my card without restart but it will not work at checkout even with restart. It beeps but gives me an error that says something about not being able to verify security or something.
Any ideas?
I have LG-H901 (T-Mobile V10), bootloader unlocked, rooted w/ TWRP and Super SU installed. Factory ROM has not been changed. Only other changes is using Ti Backup to uninstall bloatware including T-Mobile My Account and com.tmobile.pr.adapt.
Or, could I set-up my stock ROM the way I want it, then unroot so I can use AP?
I've already deleted all the bloatware and everything is working really well. I dont see a reason to stay rooted all the time.

Yes you only need root at all times if you want xposed and use greenify, servicely ect.. But if you just wanted to debloat then it is not necessary to keep root... Unroot with SuoerSU, uncheck OEM unlock and reboot... That should fix you up...
Not every reader is active though... Try places that you know have previously worked with Android Pay

Yes, that's why I had suggested going somewhere you are 100 percent positive it works. It verified the security too add the card, so go to McDonald's, somewhere you know with confidence it works.. It may be the terminal you tried to use it at
Edit* only thing you could try next is relock the bootloader, unchecking OEM doesn't relock the bootloader
