Can't do anything with low battery
Need a charged battery or a TBH factory fastboot cable.
Then you can reflash firmware with rsd lite

Charge your battery either with another atrix or external charger. Then go back and issue the fastboot oem unlock command

You are fine. If you repeat the fastboot commands things will return back to normal. You just need a different battery with full charge.
Thats the only problem i havent another battery... though i let it on this "failed to boot" screen awhile with the wall charger connected and then tried again the fastboot and it doesnt argued about the low power so.. ill let it charge for more 10 minutes and then try again thanks
Its the second time the RSD Lite Stays "Waiting for Re-Enumeration" and dont move.. is this right?
Uff seems that i made it, the problem is that before it said unlock not implemented, now it does.. and i unlock just hope it boots =D thankyou!
You can't charge your battery in that state. You will have to charge another way, or get a fresh battery. I borrowed from a buddy who had a DROID 2.

I'm stuck.
I cant get into RSD mode cause when I hold vol up it just goes into fastboot.
IF I vol down it just blinks and turns off...
What are my options.
Pull the battery then try to boot it normally, after a minute or so it goes into rsd mode

Try pulling the battery and put it back in with the phone off plug in your wall charger and see if your recovery comes up
What were u trying to do before this happened?
*****Have u tried a fully charged battery?*****
failed to boot = sbf time
no big deal

U can't sbf if u can't start rsd protocol
my bad
wow do we have a real one?
if I remember well it would always say failed to boot 2 and rsd would be available .
Is this a Dx2?
Apparently he is getting a failed to boot 1 ..I think I remember seeing this before.
It might be in one of the.older sbf tutorial threads...myabe the one by dag425.
It would be helpful (maybe) to know what was being done that caused this to happen.
Hopefully he wasn't messing with bootloader partitions and signatures or something. I think that would he just about the only thing that could hard brick us.

Could it just be hardware failure?
We wont know anything til the OP comes back and give more info on situation
Going back to the original post... Since when did we hold volume up to get to android recovery??? Pressing up selects the option thats on the screen...

If u hold power and volume up it takes u directly into "starting RSD protocol "
it is the method I have ALWAYS used when flashing sbf
I am stuck here too! I only have two options:
1: fastboot
or
2: nvflash
I have no idea what the hell eather one does so any little help is greatly appreciated for this noob. Thanks in advance...
So I take it yours says "failed to boot 1" also?
Is this Dx2 or mx2?
And you are familiar w/ booting menu: pwr on wait 1/2 (or less) sec then vol down and keep selecting w/ vol dn then vol up to select . Rsd is last.
IDNK WHAT BUT A REAL BRICK!

I just flash from RSD lite... and it's fail.... (maybe because of low battery power)
I already recharge the battery full using external charger...
But now... mu photon Bricked.. I can't start the RSD mode (Power + Vol Down)
is there still any chance for it?
Thanks b4
Have you tried power + up? Does it give you any options when trying it? And are you in a boot loop or stuck at dual core screen?

Can you describe what the phone does? Does it turn on?

I believe, the RSD mode is [Power+Vol Up].
In any case, take out your battery and reinsert it.
Press [Power+Vol Up] as soon as you insert the battery.
Report back on what happens.

? What? Unless I missed something I never recall op stating anything about flashing 2.3.5. Anyway, any progress on getting phone into RSD?
Sent from my MB855 using XDA
Try this step.
1. Connect your photon and PC/Laptop.
2. Press RSD protocol (volume up + power)
See if this work.
Was i has same problem, failed when flashing using rsdlite (when entering bp passthough), when try to enter rsd protocol, its just stuck on moto logo. But when i try to connect it with pc/laptop and try again entering rsd protocol, its work.
I was trying to unlock the bootloader using a guide called "Motorola Atrix 4G: Full Update Guide." I can't post links, but it should be the first result in Google using the keywords "how to unlock the motorola atrix bootloader cyanogenmod."
I tried to enter the ''fastboat oem get unlock" command, but it wasn't recognized in command prompt. I tried to flash a stock rom but that didn't work either. I have a hunch that I didn't install the drivers correctly... I was running Android 2.3.4 4.5.91.
Anyways, it gives me 14 options to choose from, is there anything I can do?
When you boot, where is it getting stuck? If it's the 14 options, can you post them?

I also have the "Failed to boot 0x1000" issue. Under it are the options.
1 RSD
2 Fastboot
3 NVflash
4 BP HW Bypass RSD
5 BP HW Bypass QC DLOAD
6 BP HW Diag & Boot AP
7 BP HW Bypass BP Only
8 BP SW Bypass RSD
9 Android Recovery
10 Boot Android (No BP)
11 Device UID
12 console=ttyS0, 115200n8
13 Early USB Emueration
14 BP Tools
As now, whenever I try selecting the fastboot option, it says "Battery too low for flash." When I disconnect my Atrix from the wall charger, it shuts off, but the notification LED comes on. It stays on regardless of whether or not I have the battery in.
If you've done the oem unlock portion with fastboot then you're fine and this happens to everyone when they unlock their bootloader. First thing, let it charge for a couple of hours and don't touch it (just let it sit with the LED on, that's normal when the battery is too low.)
In the meantime, check out post #5 here and be sure to read the rest of the thread, good info on this but ignore all of the people saying "it's dead Jim", etc. and to get to fastboot, don't hold vol up and down, just hold vol down button then when it says fastboot, hit vol up once.
What you're seeing is normal but it sounds like you did it on too low of a battery charge which is really dangerous. Always be 100% charge before you start flashing or restoring.

You will need an universal charger (4$).
I'm a n00b and I need help. I've spent lots of time reading xda forums and haven't found anything that really fits my case.
Motorola Atrix ME860. Chinese version which means that it doesn't have Google Play store or anything. Running Froyo 2.2.2.
Because it has a really ****ty Chinese OS, the ultimate goal is to flash CyanogenMod 9. Got Gingerbreak app's .apk via phone browser and successfully rooted the phone.
I'm on a Mac, so I had to use Parallels to attempt unlocking the bootloader. Successfully installed Motorola Drivers, RSD Lite, Android SDK (downloaded SDK Tools and Google USB Driver).
Used RSD Lite to try flashing the Pudding IHOP international users bootloader unlocking sbf file. Yes, I've seen the comments on that link about Chinese phones. Wasn't concerned because I've never accepted any OTA updates or flashed down to Froyo as discussed here. I don't know why, but RSD Lite didn't successfully flash the unlock sbf file.
CURRENT SITUATION:
Power + up volume = SVF: 108:1:2 Failed to boot 3 Starting Fastboot protocol support
Power + down volume = SVF: 108:1:2 Failed to boot 3 Entering nv flash recovery mode (It flashes this for about three tenths of a second and then the screen goes black.)
----------------------------------
•Have I bricked my phone?
•What's the next step? The power + up volume option seems to show some promise....
•Can I flash a 2.2.3 Gingerbread file to at least be able to USE the phone and then try unlocking the bootloader again?
Because I'm a n00b, if you have advice/directions, the more specific the better. Thank you very much.

Power + down volume = SVF: 108:1:2 Failed to boot 3 Entering nv flash recovery mode (It flashes this for about three tenths of a second and then the screen goes black.)
I have exactly the same problem, could you fix this?? could you tell me how?? please, I have been looking on google like for 6 hours now.
thanks !!!!!! I would really appreciate any advice!!

Sorry, but I never found out a solution. I gave up after spending wwwwaaaaaaay too much time on the problem I'm not sure where you're living in the world, but look into getting some help from an "Android Ninja" on Craigslist.
If you can enter fastboot mode, try flashing a custom recovery.

actually you did miss something. how about just power on. no vol up or down, just turn the device on. that should allow you to use RSD support and flash a sbf file. or you can enter into fastboot mode and flash each partition with its corresponding img file
