Hi,
I have my Desire X with a sense Revolution R3 ROM, when I rooted and change the ROM, I forget to save a copy of my ROM. Exactly the phone is from Vodafone Operator.
So today I set free the phone, I pay to set free it by IMEI. I receive the code to set free by IMEI, so when I put the SIM of another operator, I get a message to unlock (my PIN, thats ok), but when it have to appear the IMEI unlocking box, the phone restarts!!!
I read that, this was beacuse of using a custom ROM, but what can I do if I don´t have my operator stock? Or there is already VDF Original ROM?
Or can I have a solution installing the stock Rom of HTC (without operator)?
I need your help please, my phone now was like a stone!

I'm having some issues with my i9300 i bought not too long ago pre-owned, i'm going to try my best to keep it clear and simple but...
I bought a i9300 off ebay locked to Optus mobile network, now before I tried to unlock it i rooted it and installed the cyanogen mod 10.2.0. Now I cant read my imei number and some other specs on the phone, i believe you need the imei or else it wont always work i'm told (unlocking the network). Ive been looking around for a stock rom from optus australian versions to see if that fixes the imei problem (didnt check to see if it was there when I had original rom on it). I've been running into problems finding a site that lets you download over 1 gig files without registering (**** that ****). Now I have two questions.
1. Can someone point me to a link of a fool proof no surveys and no registry restrictions of a stock rom from optus??
2. Is there it required to have an imei for unlocking or will unlocking fix my imei problem??
Is there a free way and relaviley easy way to unlock my phone??
Appreciate any help and ask for any more information
Additional imformation:
IMEI is Unknown
IMEI SV is Unknown
Serial No. Know
Have IMEI under battery
Hello forum, I hope you are all doing very well.
I have a S III GT-i9300 with android 4.3.
I've searched everywhere for an 4.1.1. ROM for my android phone, but all the links (like hotfile ect.) are down. I really need to flash this rom because my phone is sim locked (it asks for network unlock code after I put the PIN) and dial codes for the service mode don't work.
I've downgraded to 4.1.2 (that was the lowest firmware I've found), but in the service mode>phone control>sim lock it says "the menu does not exist"
Is there any source or anyone who can provide me the 4.1.1. ROM?
Or otherwise, can I unlock my phone with another method without paying for unlock codes?
If you want more info of my phone (like IMEI ect.), please let me know.
Thank you in advnance!
Alex
You cannot flash a 4..1.1 ROM over a 4.3 ROM. Once upgraded to 4.3, you'll have to purchase a network unlock code.
Trying to downgrade the phone from 4.3 to 4.1.1 could hard-brick the phone.
i recently bought a unlocked s9+ (sm-g965u1) in the united stated , came to india and want to use jio which uses volte . i cant seem to find any settings to toggle or access to ims settings as it was stopped in oreo by samsung itself.
found a thread saying flashing firmware for g965u would give me that option but it did not.
i Just want volte and wifi calling on the unlocked variant.
guide me how . i can also root if needed. thanks xD
If you can root your device it is possible by changing mps-code.dat and sales-code.dat values inside the root folder of your device

How do i do that , and there no legit root yet on xda for my device , theres only twrp . Im a noob at this soo please elaborate and help
Did you try to install an indian sim card and then make a full reset? As far as I know, it will automatically change the region to India.
If theres twrp available already, it should be possible. Try flashing magisk builds.
