Hey VZW G3 friends, anyone got an invite open for Google Inbox? I'm looking to give this a try.
I was just wondering what you guys feel about the new Inbox app from Google.[http://www.google.com/inbox/]
I really like the integration with Google Now, and makes email a little less of a tedious experience.
Also, Inbox has an invite system. Since we've gotten so good at those here at XDA, maybe this could be a space for those of us with Inbox invites to share it with others.
To request an invite from Google, please send a mail to [email protected].
In a while however, those who have Inbox will be able to invite friends. Which is when we could share invites with the people in this thread perhaps.

My thoughts on inbox. It's nice, but it has a long way to go.
I've been using it for a bit now, but the grouping feature really messes with my email sorting. :laugh: I'd send you an invite if I can figure out how to send them. I haven't found that option yet.
-update: Looked into it, and either they don't have user invites going yet, or I just don't have any to give out yet. Also figured out how to disable the bundling and my experience is much better.
How is the feel vs Gmail or Google+?
It feels like a cleaned up flattened version of gmail. Doesn't really feel like google plus. At least that holds true after I got rid of the bundling. the UI is snappier too, but it's not that much different.
I honestly don't know what the big deal is here It seems pretty similar to gmail just flatter and cleaned up.

Just buy an invite off ebay for $4.99. It's the easiest and quickest way.

You could ask real nice in the market section of the forum. Thats how I got mine.

EDIT: okay so I lied, have 2 invites, whoever gets em gets em. I do have 23 for google wave, and 50 for gmail (gmail is still invite only...?)

ever since G+ came out its been like having 2 XDA sites to get news from and talk to the community, At least for me. So this why i made this thread so people can add people from the community to their GTALK list. the past month i have realized i have added almost 20 people from XDA and have found it very useful in many ways. I get updates when new roms are released and anything droid related. Even when i have troubles i shoot a message towards someone and get a speedy reply.
Very useful since Everyone has Gtalk automatically built in there phones and is great once you get your friends list up.
Post your Emails here if you wanna try it out for Yourselves, If you don't want to cause your Gtalk is more personal then thats fine. its not for Everybody.
