it's not
it team fluently on my previous phone (Karbon a5)
which had only 512 ram and 1 GHz single core qualcomm processor.
so it will ran very smoothly on our phone.

Hello guys.
I bought this phone from the chinese.
It has a nice ROM in it, but I found out it doesn't detect the compass/orientation sensor.
When I use GPS,the arrow goes crazy, because of that.
I think it might be the ROM they gave me to flash.
The ROM is nice and all, 4.0.4, sweet colors and stuff, but I would really like to use the compass.
And other thing, the phone can't run Antutu Benchmark, gives error and quits. Don't know why.
Maybe, 889s ROMs work with 889m?
889m specs
Original ROM: OS Android OS, v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)
Chipset Mediatek MT6577
CPU Dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9
GPU PowerVR SGX531u
4 GB storage, 512 MB RAM
Single Camera, 5MP

Someone who understands things about smartphone could ate least enlighten me about the 889s ROMs in 889m
Please.
Some "can do" or "can't" would help me a lot.
Thanks
May be we starting porting from nexus 5 port
and ubuntu phone while he's at it.... isn't that much work, ist it? common...
Ubuntu OS may or may not be on its way, depends if the dev wants to finish it or has time
Salfish OS may not happen just because of the lack of information.

My 5 year old Moto Defy with single core 800mhz cold boots faster with kitkat than this 2015 quad-core 1.2ghz Moto E with lollipop
Can anything be done to speed it up?
Using CM12.1 but I don't see any overclock settings for boot.

thank you so much for sharing that because that fix is amazing, instant on/off and it seems to only use about 1-2% battery per day when off which I can live with
Hello guys,
I want to buy a new phone and i hesitate between the OnePlus X and the galaxy A5 2016.
Is the X powerful and what's the avg Antutu score? Is the snapdragon 801 good to play games like Modern Combat 5 or Fifa 16?
Thanking you in advance
Antutu score does not matter much. Software is buggy on oneplus x. You should go for other choices but not samsung .
In principle, If playing such games is your prime necessity then you should go for a 5.5 inch display phone with a better processor and bigger battery. Just my opinion.
this is not a gaming device. really go for something else. h2os is bugfree.antutu score is 71k with OC on h2os
To answer your question regarding Antutu score - my score on stock rom with stock kernel was 50k. And the gpu performance rated by the Antutu app was "poor", if I remember correctly.

Thanks guys but i think gaming would be better than my Galaxy Grand Prime with snapdragon 410 an 1Gb of ram (22k on Antutu) an 5.5 inches is too big for my pocket. And psychem, how do you get 71k with a S801 ?
I saw on YouTube that Multitasking was wonderful with 3GB RAM. And will it be updated to Marshmallow or N (long term)?

Check the h2os thread for the scores. Yes this phone has better multi taking than even s6 in my experience. There are already many custom roms based on Mm

hey guys I owned multiple phones in my life and to be honest the best one I had is the HTC One XL
single cored device of 1.5GHZ i over clocked it to 1.8GHZ and i still have it, it is a lot faster than all new phones, faster than sony phones heck its even faster than my Xperia Z5 Compact 8 cored!!
4 cores of 2ghz and another 4 of 1.5 and can not even compete to the speed of the One XL when it comes to launching apps speed and smooth UI experience!
so I am asking you if its any related to the roms we have and the drivers of sony could be causing the problems? I tried AOKP AOSP AICP Lineage roms they are fast enough but still why isnt it as fast as the 4-5 years old HTC SINGLED CORED!
if its roms related or UI can any one suggest really small roms or UI that can give my device a more powerful experience?
thanks for any one that can help
Funny. Any proof, maybe benchmarks screenshots or comparsion video? My Antutu score is 86 660 on stock 7.0 firmware for example.

thats exactly the funny thing! I have a really high score on multitasking - GPU, basically every thing else besides "Single core" score
and its really funny how the phone specs it says : it comes with 4 large cores of 2.0GHZ when in actuallity they run at 1.5ghz and when you actually run it on 2.0 youre actually "over-clocking" when in actuallity its just what they are supposed to do! how is that?
plus I got 59000 on AOKP how is that possible??
