hello friends
this thread about huawei mediapad x1
share your battery life for this great phablet with screenshoots about battery , screen time on , apps running
One of the main reasons I bought this phone was the battery life (Screen was the other one).
I am a light user and I get 3+ days to a charge, usually around 6 to 8 hours of screen on time.
My same usage pattern on some of my other phone was 1 to 2 days, so having an extra day or two is awesome... I never have to worry about being near a charger when I go camping for the whole weekend.
is it 3G or 4G ??
and what about battery history details , screen time out ???
i think it is very very good life if not charging even an hour during those 4 days
Good Luck

I'm the US and the LTE bands don't work, so that is all HSPA+ (But I am on Wifi most of the time)
I didn't put the phone on the charger at all during that time as I was doing a test to see how long it would last. Screen on time was 5 hours over the 4 days.
I usually get 3 days or so, but in either case, much much better life than any phone I've ever had.
im a heavy user, online all day, more than 4 hrs a day surfing/downloading stuff.
Batt life to me is not long. wifi most of.it.though.
Would confirm that this is the best Android tablet I've ever used in terms of battery life.
Here is mine

That 15-17 day is with nothing running (no data, syncing, apps etc..) and with the screen off. I can easily get two full days out of this phone, which is great considering I couldn't even make it through a day with my old Galaxy S Android phone.
Ref Bat Life of Radar.
I am just stoned to have experienced the battery stays for close to 2 days....
This is my first WP7 phone after using WP6 and WP6.5...
Suggestion to new users: Do a complete charge/discharge cycle for atleast 5-8 times before u can put the phone to charge in between cycles. This ensures that the ions get completely activated and all life at the same time. In fact would suggest you do it always...
5 - 6 days only talking with the phone. 2 days if I use Wi Fi or play games or often do something on it. Very good hardware of this phone but bad operation system.

I've only had one other android phone, and that was an Atrix. I got about 12 hours from each charge and 2 hours screen time--- compared to when I first got it when I got 20 hours and 3 hours screentime.
It seems like this galaxy note is going to be the same way so far -- although i REALLY want to be bale to get 30hrs and 5hrs screen time. Let's see if I can

Wow...Really? I had the Atrix as well and could get well over 30 hours of charge on it after about a year. The first few months I was seeing between 12 and 20 hours. For me it seemed the longer I had it the better the battery life was.
I'd frequently have it unplugged from 6 AM to 1 AM daily and have 60% left. That may be because all my usage came over a consolidated period of time and the rest of the time was light usage.
My first Android phone was the original Droid...I was able to coax around 24 hours out of it...but I was rooted with a custom ROM and a LV overclock kernel for it.
I'm hoping that I can get at least 14 hours with the Note on the same sort of routine...not so much this week because I don't want to put it down! LOL...my usage has gone from Light/Moderate to HEAVY...I fully expect to be able to hit this after a few more charge cycles (provided my usage goes back to normal...with the screen size I can see myself using this more than the Atrix, so we'll just have to see).
Over 20 hours of use with wifi, Bluetooth, LTE, auto-brightness, web browsing, video playing, texting, emailing and forum posting.
Yea, that's 5h 14m "screen on" time, too. 5.3 inch LTE device with those battery stats - yea, I'm happy. If your expectations are any higher you're delusional. 100% stock.

I want to select 14-16, but in this poll are you implying that at 16 hours I need to hit the charger or turn it off? This is rather subjective because I have a few friends that consider a phone "dead" the minute it hits 30%. Hell even the custom power saving profile is defaulted to kick in at 30%.
16 hours from my workday wake up time is only 11PM. I'd like to think if I decide to go out on the weekends I don't need to worry about charging up unless I've been using the phone like crazy throughout the day.
So we are at 10-12 hours so far in the poll. I hope we can get more input.
It's just $25 for TWO (semi-decent) spare batteries and a charger on Amazon... so no worries!
That said, the first few days with this phone have been rough! I've been using it so damn much that I have to plug it in at just 6 or 7pm when I get home from work. (DOH!) I'm sure my usage will go down a little after the honeymoon period wears off (maybe?). Luckily, though, my spare batteries are set to arrive today... so it's all good!
Is 3 hours of screen on time on Lollipop good? I keep hearing of people that get 5 or 6 hours of screen on time and No android device I get has ever achieved that. Even my xperia z3 tablet compact can't get over 3 hours of Screen on time. Am I doing something wrong? Like could I be using my device too much?
check apps wich draw most battery and get rid of them , if this won't work then do a factory reset ...
I get between 4 1/2 and 7+ SOT hours.
Depends mostly if I turn Bluetooth on (SmartWatch), GPS use (Google+ position tracking, weather),use a lot of Internet (chrome is a battery sucker, you don't believe it), sync a lot of mails n stuff like that.
Of course it depends on your apps, but 3 hours is really not a lot, may be your battery is not good.
The 3 hours screen on time is with heavy usage but the standby time is amazing.

I get 3-4 hours screen on time too. However, that's with heavy use. Viber, Skype & Talkray for 1-2 hours per day. I get 2-3 days standby with 3-4 hours screen on time based on the above. Also some light web browsing and some WhatsApp...

It very much depends on a rom.
I was able to get around 4-5h sot on lollipop, but it was on Google style rom. On some more customized or stock roms you may get a bit worse battery life.
So to answer your question, 3h is a bit below the average result.
The reason may be an old battery.

Old battery? My Z2 is only 2 months old and was bought brand new.
Perhaps rom related. Most ever SOT I got was around 4.5 hours and that was on Lollipop Google style rom...
I need to know what you are getting as SOT for this device and how long does the battery last. I use mine a lot and it does not feel like I can get past 3 hours of SOT.
4-6 hours of constant use on wifi
3-4 hours with stand by on 4g
5 hours with mixed use of wifi and 4g

Same here. Also 2-3 Hours if mobile signal is weak
But this only in 5-6 hours of usage, after I have to change battery always.

4 hours SCREEN ON TIME with mixed wifi and 4g. I averages about another 7 hours of standby. Sometimes lower because of playing heavy games

As i said, i have obtained 2-3 hours of SCREEN ON TIME with bad mobile signal on 6-7 hours of usage (from 7:00 to lunch), after i need to change battery.
This is my experience, as the OP asked.
I am not sure how the previous users are getting such great on screen time for this phone, I guess some users are a bit luckier than others in the battery department with the LG G5. I've had dozens of smartphones and I have to say that my experience with the battery life of the LG G5 has been among the worst since I purchased the phone new earlier this year.
At best if I micro manage all my settings, meaning disable data or Wifi when not in use and only use one or the other depending on signal strength or even when I put the phone in airplane mode when I'm in an area of no Wi-Fi and poor signal strength, AT BEST I am able to get a little over 3 hours of SOT on average. And lately that has only been with a few of hours of standby time.
If I'm a little bit more relaxed about the settings and less on top of them then we are looking at best at around 2 to 2.5 hours of SOT.
When I first got the phone with careful control I was achieving more around 4 hours of SOT. I appreciate the fact that this phone has a swappable battery but I am not one to sit there swapping batteries back and forth all day. It's nice to have a swappable battery when the original one begins to degrade to push the longevity of the device. But at this point I will be looking to replace my G5 probably at the end of this year or early next year. For a relatively modern day flagship the performance that I'm experiencing battery wise is unacceptable.
I've tried to use the phone the exact same well as I use my Xperia z3 and it honestly has half the battery life for the same usage. Coupled with the GPS issues I am ready to dump this POS.

Wow that is nice I don't get that I can get about 3.5 if its good wifi signal.

12 hours of SOT is now a memory of a far away past.
I used to score 4-6 hours of SOT in heavy usage, and even 8-12 watching movies, messaging and web browsing.
But now I can barely reach the 4 hours mark, it usually stays between 2 hours (just gaming) and 4:30 (Netflix, web...)
Sometimes I don't really mind getting just a few hours of SOT, but it is really sad looking at the past and remembering that plenty of juice I could squeeze out of this device.
Did also your device got this battery capacity decay? If yes, did a battery replacement actually did something (are the batteries available on sites like AliExpress good enough)?.
Is it really a battery problem or is it a crappy Oreo battery management thing?
PS: I've been using this device for about 1 year and a half.

Visiting the Mi Service centre will be more easy and comfortable....they can give you original battery with replacement warranty of 6 months so....that will be more genuine
It I problem of Battery as it's been used for around 1.5 Year....only those who have newly bought Kenzo like around 6-7 months can say what Oreo battery management is like....it's good or bad....you can try switching ROMs....you will see that you get a extra 30-40 mins of battery n nothing more....which means it's the decay of battery but on the ROM problem...in
I've been experimenting on Oreo and while Doze mode works really well (1% loss by night) I feel that overall battery management is awful, especially when browsing YouTube for instance where I also get 4h SOT max.
I also got my RN3 about 2y ago and battery decay is important due to my heavy usage, with Accu battery I can say that I have no lost about 1/4 battery (3200mah MAX...) But that alone can't explain the SOT loss.
Too bad there isn't any service center in my country I could use a new battery at least for the 1h more that it could give me.

I also checked my estimated battery capacity, and it says 3100mAh (I don't think this is very accurate).
Xiaomi doesn't officially sell phones in my country anymore (they've only sold the Redmi 2).

It's definitely not the most accurate way to check, but based on several charges (more than 20%) I've never seen 4000mah
It's looks like battery degradation. The only way to really check it's swapping batteries. Did you use the stock charger?
