I have a stock MyTouch 4G, and I have no real plans to root it.
There is a one person that created a custom theme for the MyTouch 4G called Androidian, great theme, but I am very picky.
I want to create my own for my stock phone and wanted to know if anyone has any resources they can point me too.
Thanks,

Did you even read my question or is your default answer to just use that site?
Did you actually TRY and Google creating themes for MyTouch 4G? If I wanted to create themes for stock Android, there are plenty of how-to's, but I was talking about the STOCK Themes for a STOCK MyTouch 4G, not using MetaMorph or needing root.
I could be wrong, but I don't believe that its possible to create new themes for mysense at the moment, so the only way to do it would be to root your phone and either create a metamorph or modify the frameworks yourself. Either way requires root since you'll be modifying system files.
You mentioned the androidian theme. That also requires root to install I believe because its replacing some system files. Again, take this with a grain of salt since I dont pay much attention to the stock rom, and couldn't live without root.

Any themes for a non third party UI needs to have root access. AWDLauncher, Launcher Pro all of themes because they are 3rd party. It's easy to lay new icons into those.
It is physically impossible to theme w/o messing with files that need root access.
So yes i did read your post, no it cannot be done.

The Androidian theme does not need root access to install. It's in the market and uses stock theme picker to apply.

You can modify the stock themes but like the others said it requires root to pull the apk out and be able to modify it. Somehow Fyb3roptic did it and I'm pretty sure he did just that. I'd try e-mailing him and see how he did it.

I agree working very smooth. I will say that the screenshots that i saw thru the link had a modified battery in the status bar which is not in the actual ROM.
if you are able to do requests, is the lg2 qslide able to be used. it has more available apps included and they now put out an tool to make apps q-slide compatible which does not work on this version of Qslide.
Either way thanks for another stock based Rom.

A lot of Kitkat roms are still work-in-process. Especially they are at a stage where features are added often. When the focus is on expansion of features rather than refinement of what's in place already, things tend to be more buggy
Is there any chance to customise our ROM to look exactly as LG G3?
I downloaded from play store some G3 theme but it only changes icons, nothing else. I've also tried with Xposed and once again nothing.
Any other suggestions?

I've tried the tweakbox with Xposed and I was able to customize the notification screen to look like the G3. Unfortunately I have formatted my phone due to signal problems so I cant post some screenshots.
You should try this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lge.launcher2.theme.rocketg3&hl=pl
Not changing the whole system but just launcher

So I have a Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Baseband version ends in NC5. I would really like to root my phone but everywhere I look I get a ton of conflicting information. I found Kingo root but some people said not to do it. I have Oden but does that just take care of rooting then I can install what I want from there?
Anyone that can give me instructions on what I need to do to root my Note 3 that would be great. I would prefer not to ruin my warranty or hit Knox.
If someone can point me in the right direction that would be awesome!
Thanks

Check any number of threads on Towel root, which will likely work on your device, depending on its date of manufacture. You should be able to find it in the general forum.
This thread will soon be in the Q&A section where it belongs, as soon as it's moved.

Installing towel root should work.
Once that's done, install the latest Xposed framework (2.6.1), and Wanam, to get started.
Your options are really superb if all you wish to do is tinker with Xposed. Hop on over to the Xposed section of xda and have a blast. You really can have an excellent device with only root, an ad free app, and Xposed.
Good luck, and if interested in what modules are good, feel free to come back here and ask after you've had your fill of Wanam.

Awesome I just started playing with Wanam and its pretty cool. I was in the Sprint store the other day playing with the LG G3 and loved the color scheme on the G3 and was thinking of looking for a theme like that but want to change the backgrounds on all my menus like in settings and such to something lighter than the plain old black theme that came with note 3. Ive used some apps before my phone was rooted to theme but now I know I can do much more so any advice or pointers on what modules to use/get would be great!

First go to this Xposed module thread...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2327541
[INDEX][XPOSED] XPOSED Modules Collection | Post Modules' Request Here!
Then look for a few, including...
XuiMod, XHaloFloatingWindow, Tinted Status Bar, S5 System UI Theme, CPU Temp in Status Bar, amongst others.
The trick is to avoid mods that interfere with others.
Most of the aforementioned won't conflict with others.
Take it slowly, and experiment.
Good luck!

So after owning g2 on att..we had same issue. Please disregard if its been posted. If you didn't know already here you go. This does not require root.
1. Go to the market. Download Launcher Pro
2. Don't open it. We're using it for a huge benefit it's always left a back door open for us devs..
3. Press on empty home screen to bring up widgets.
4. Scroll to find the activities in form of launcher pro icon
5. Press on It once It will bring up a huge hidden menu..
6. Scroll down to Home
7. Press home and scroll down to hidden menu themes provider (or the first hidden menu themes etc you see)
8. Press it once.
If you did this in the correct order it will bring a nice sweet blue icon on your home screen ..you can put it in a folder but keep it. Press on it to now have your theme picker.
9. Google LG world apk..download It and now enjoy your themes etc..
I hope this made you smile.
Peace.

Lg has themes available similar to like what Miui has but nowhere near as good. Most are pretty lame actually... probably why they dropped them from US varients, but there's a work around.
This topic should have probably been placed in the Themes and Apps forum, but here is some more detailed info on the subject.

I've tried a few. One for the g2 locked my phone up hard and made it totally unresponsive. Theme did stick after a battery pull and was fair at best. It was interesting to play around with for a bit but like i said, most are pretty weak.

I also add this is for version of sprint that does have the theme apk or home themes hidden. I don't know why. But this does not require root and is for stock Rom. Or out of box fix. Yes it can be moved to themes and apps if mods feel I've posted in error. Again just trying to help keep this sprint version level with the experience of the rest. The stock themes do suck. But the option is also great to have. Peace. And thank you all for your help.
