Debugging is set as is unknown sources.
USB connection does not show in navigation bar.
There are no options to change debugging settings.
Used three different cables in three different USB ports.
Phone is on and plugged in, does not show in Device Manager
Nor does Motorola One-Click. Says it is searching for device.
Any idea on what is going on and how to solve this.
Thanks,

I would flash the 2.3.4/1.3.380 firmware(sbf) with rsd lite or ezSBF
which you need to do anyways if you want cm7, cm9, cm10...
or
reflash 2.3.5 firmware with rsd lite or flash my extracted fastboot files with moto-fastboot.exe

As I said, I have to Droid X2's. One that could access debugging mode, one that could not.
Currently flashing the one that could access debugging with RSDLite. I already had it and have used it before.
It passed. Now to try the other one that will not go into debugging mode.
Also, how to install cm10?

Downloaded and installed cm-10 alpha 1... too buggy. Tried alpha 2 but could not get it to flash.
What is the latest STABLE rom for the X2? Any rom - not Verizon. Just stable.

I have the same question. Is there any way to unroot device?
thank you
worked great thanks.
if you are using a bootstrap recovery for bionic, do you have BP tools to boot into using vol+pwr? Hashcode modified koush's bootstrap for the 2nd-system safestrap for bionic/d3 probably wouldnt be too hard for him to port to razr. Also, is the root method used the same that dan rosenburg found? after that leaked ota bionic users lost root and couldnt exploit anymore. we made sure to use otarootkeeper because of the ext3
+1 thanks

Custom kernel, or flashing vlara's prerooted system image from the UCKK6 leak thread.
It's just like the days before zergRush - get used to custom kernels and rooted system images being the only way to root.

Have you tried this? vlara's download does not contain a tar. It is named system.img, and I tared it and tried to flash it, and the flash fails immediately, just like the UCKK6 system dump I made myself, so I would guess that his dump has not been prepared to flash.
If I have time this morning I'll make Odin flashable 2.3.6 with root

To test some of the problem reports I needed to run it. Of course, this is bad for some because I've established that the bluetooth HID problems are not the kernel - or if it is, the stock KK6 kernel is just as broken so there's no easy way to figure out how to fix.
Uploading it is going to be a *****, as it always is. I'm not doing it until the family is asleep.

All it does is install a custom kernel - that particular one (zedo's) will probably break wifi.
If it does - flash the 12/21 version of my kernel and wifi will work.

ill try to keep it short. My droid razr can't receive calls or text i can't call or text anyone either. The phone shows that i have a signal im not roaming. It just makes no sense to stop working out of nowhere. The only solution i have is switching sim cards??? I even did a hard reset the crazy part is as soon as i switched the phone back on after the reset i started receiving text and voice mails. Its only after i immediately turn the phone back on after a reset that i can receive text and voice mails no calls though.

Hello, all. I'll try to be quick and please bear with me because I'm quite new at this:
- Have XT910; bought it with T-Mobile-branded 4.1.2. Root/Safestrap worked flawlessly. Ran with CM11 for many months.
- Tried to update CM11 to CM12 OTA and it bricked my phone; bootlooped, recovery went back to stock. (was my fault, didn't check CM forums for install instructions)
- Had to recover by using sbf and RSD Lite. Found this thread containing firmwares.
- Found T-Mobile ROM in the list, but unable to download because droid-developers returns a File Not Found error.
- Same with most other european downloads, except for Retail British.
- Flash Retail British
- Have a hard time rooting phone with all the easily available methods. Didn't keep logs, but I kept getting "access denied" type of errors.
- Finally find a dodgy Chinese app that seemed to root the phone. Superuser installed; Root checker says everything is OK.
- Install Safestrap, make ROM slot
- Try to flash LiquidSmooth. Fail. Try to install CM 10/11/12. Fail.
- Figured in my limited brain that the problem is because Retail British comes with encryption, whereas my T-Mobile version before getting it borked did not.
I can try to get logs from TWRP if you think it helps, but I'd mostly love it if someone had a copy of the T-Mobile or any other unencrypted firmware compatible with my EU XT910 that I can try flashing.
Any and all questions/advice will be highly appreciated!
Thank you.
