Welcome, i have problem with bluetooth headset
When i click the call button it works very well but when i click pause/start/forward/backward buttons the phone doesnt catch that everytime i sometimes need to click 10 time to let the phone catch it so can anybody tell me where is my issue exactly?
Hi I have the same problem I thought it was just me but I guess not I am clueless why it does that
Did you test it with a different music player?
Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk 2
I have tried Pandora and Google music
And I tried power amp
So no one has any answer?
I have the same setup and the same problem. Did a bit of research before buying the headset, and I realise that this is a common issue. The LG headset works best with LG phones, but not others.
Any suggestions
That is weird, I have been using this headset with my Note 3, and I have not noticed any issues at all. I use this headset with Poweramp, Google player, Your folder player, and n7player. I am not having issue with any of the mentioned player.
That's strange. Do u use custom Roms or not?

hi everybody,
there is something about the sgs2 which bugs me. on my old nokia i used to listen to fm radio and use shazam to find songs. when i try this on the sgs2, it says something like the microphone is in use by another application. Is it just me or is this a common problem?
i think you should try to use SoundHound. it is in my opinion much superior than Shazaam. cheers

i guess that something is kinda wrong. i think maybe a wipe should be done by your part. but how to find which app or anything else is using your mic?
is your mic working during calls and voice recording?
this is very strange.

so, i connect the headphones, to have the radio working. and here's what soundhoud says: soundhound is unable to detect a working microphone. another app may have locked the microphone.
and shazam says: couldn't tag music.
everything else works fine, and they can tag music if i have the headphones not connected to the phone.

i have never triedn to tag music with headphones on. maybe it is in all devices and the device can only use the inbuilt mic to tag. i have to check this.
but i can't tonight. tomorrow i will and let you know.

you are probably right, but in this thread we are looking for a solution to tag music from fm radio.
I too had the same error when trying to tag music using either Shazam or SoundHound.
What I think is whenever we start the FM radio, the phone jams (not the correct term, but I guess you got my point) the microphone from usage by any other applications. And both these apps are dependent on the microphone to tag the music. So both fails and gives the error.

If FM record was possible, with the given ROM and libraries, then in theory Shazam or whatever should be able to work with FM.
Is there an FM record function in the stock app ? Or does a common recorder app record FM ? I only have an original Galaxy S and this doesn't seem possible, but the schematics indicate it should theoretically be possible for the audio libraries and/or kernel driver to support this. But that's just theory...

There are problems in some games too. In Dead Space the sound is completely garbled, and in Epic Citadel benchmark it 'pops' and 'squeaks'.
Sorry, I know that doesn't help you but sometimes it helps to work out how widespread a problem is.
Same here. Sound glitches when seeking through a video on YouTube app, and also when starting music playback. I guess it happens when the speaker is first turned on after being inactive.
yeah, got this too, also when playing Spotify music via bluetooth speakers sound occasionally "pops", it may be sound buffering problem
all in all MIUI sucks, i got so many problems with this rom... shame its Mediatek and we probably will never see anything nice like Cyanogenmod...

Back when I used MIUI on my old HD2 the music app was one of my favourite things about it. Somewhere along the way I guess they screwed up.
Sound issues occur via the headphone jack and via stereo Bluetooth as well for me
Just discovered that audio plays flawlessly over Wi-Fi to my TV. No skips or pops at all. Interesting....
This is still an unsolved issue, will be fix on next few dev. version I hope.
Can confirm this. I got only 2 games. With CoC no problems, with Radiant big problem (mute but and option of the game also mute but sounds come out)

After the 17th/18th dev ROM update (I'm using the unofficial multi language version) Dead Space is just as bad - full of screeching sounds. Epic Citadel seems fixed. How about you guys? Stero Bluetooth is no longer skipping for me. I haven't tried the headphone jack yet.
In my note 3 pro, when i use earphones i hear a buzzing.
I change a couple of earphones and i still hear this.
Can you help me? I have a global rom.
I think you are using the cm13/14 rom. And that is the bug
No, i have official beta global rom my friend..

stefss: I would suggest if you do not know about modding/rooting/unlocking/etc., then stay away from these methods as you may brick your device (unusable). These are for advanced users.
Did you try checking the audio settings (Settings > Sound & Vibration > Audio settings). Try toggling the Mi Sound Enhancer switch (by the way, I observed that turning this switch on reduces the audio quality and changes the tone; better to turn this off).
There could be many reasons why you are hearing a buzzing sound:
1. Your earphone drivers might be slightly damaged. This is the most common reason (I too hear a buzzing sound on my earphones). Try using the same earphones with other devices to confirm if the cause is earphones.
2. Try playing the audio track from Play Music and toggle the equalizer settings. (setting the frequency bars to extreme values is another cause for a buzzing sound). Change media players and again check for the quality.
If you have tried the above and still hear the buzzing sound, then consider exchanging the piece if it is under warranty.
Note: If you try to mod/root/etc. your phone, you will void it's warranty so be careful.
I try with 3 new earphones, everyone is buzzing.
Audio settings is ok. Phone is new, this is reason why i think is good.
Every media player including youtube is buzzing..
But when i put headphones everythink is ok.

Get it replaced if it is under warranty.
Hi, is there any way to connect two Bluetooth speakers and play music on them at the same time like in a Galaxy S8/S9? And if not, can I get this feature via some mods?

Maybe. You can be connected to two Bluetooth devices at the same time. Music from both I'm not sure about.
I was talking about music from both. This feature found in Galaxy S8/S9 is pretty amazing and I thought V30 will have it too. Are there any mods to get this?

I was curious so I just tried with two identical Bluetooth speakers. I can connect to both easily, but I have to choose one or the other for music playback. Can't do both simultaneously.
If you really had to, you could get a Bluetooth splitter like the ones made by TaoTronics. I have one that lets me connect two pairs of BT headphones simultaneously, so I'm sure it would work with 2 speakers.
Hi, is there any way that we can play the music on bluetooth speakers while having a call using wired earphones? It's really a great feature with samsung but I switched back to huawei lol

i haven't tried it, but cant you go into settings of the bt setting of that particular device and set it for audio only, and not calls...?
Well yea I tried it before asking here but spotify still plays on my earphones instead of playing on my bt device

You want the audio to be diverted into 2 separate audio receivers. As far as I know, androidv in particular cannot do that.
Well, samsung, note 9 in particular, can do it so I was kinda wondering if its a software thing that can be made available to other android devices.

Samsung got the "separate app sound" but I kinda switched to mate 20 pro. It's a lot better except maybe the speaker and the "separate app sound" feature.

Well, I was using a note 9 and you can find it under "sounds" at the settings. It was really a cool feat I thought it was a bluetooth 5.0 feat.

Yeah, I didn't know that. I wish some developer on xda will read this tnread!
Oh man I really wish the devs would look into this thread. It would be so cool if this is actually made available to all android with bluetooth 5.0
I'm also searching for a porting of this feature since forever
