[Q] No Roms for HTC Desire 610? - HTC Desire 610

Hi I'm new to all this and just rooted my htc desire 610 few days ago but found out no roms for this device, someone told me since rooting this phone became possible recently you got to wait few weeks before roms start to come out. Is it true I wanted to get cyanogenmod on moń but found out it supports htc desire 816 not 610. My question is will there be roms for this device soon enough?

There will be roms sometime soon. But with most less popular phones, it takes more time.
And actually, ones being developed right now:

I have written a guide to root this exact phone. It's a pity we don't have a HTC Wind/t328w/Desire V forum yet. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1746561 Good luck.

Yeah I too want a htc desire v thread. And by the way this phone is also available in India. It was released in August.
HTC Desire V is also available in Pakistan.
As for rooting HTC Desire V, here is a working tutorial + flashing CWM: http://www.teamandroid.com/2012/09/...oid-403-install-clockworkmod-custom-recovery/
HTC Desire V is also available in the UK now, I'm getting one on Friday. Can we have a Desire V forum please :fingers-crossed:
HTC Desire V is also available in Indonesia for Rp 2.999.000 (around $300). It's only major drawback is the single core CPU and minimalistic support from devs (maybe due to dual sim and asian market). Anyway, I liked my device.

[Q] Why there are only few custom ROM's for HTC One X+ International Version

I am posting here because I found absolutely nothing for HTC One X+(googling) ......there are quite a few ROM's that too very few posts like only 100 posts.....is there actually gonna be any ROM's for this I am just curious......there are a plenty for One X but no luck for this.....please correct me If I am wrong guys......
Its because I think one x was original flagship of the company all users went there as this + has very few users indeed and now all users jumped to M7 section ...

I think it has to do with the fact that the Desire S received S-Off and the Desire X did not because revolution team stopped deving...
We have really less no of devs here who can build AOSP roms..

Thanks for your hard work

I have had an HTC phone since the Aria. Previously I bought the HTC ONE X+, due to the tegra processor, this phone still doesn't have a working ASOP/AOKP/CM ROM. Having to live with sense for many months while I had the HOX+, I have learned a great respect for the developers that build these custom ROMS we take for granted. Thank you very much for all your hard work on the HTC One. You have given us many choices and freedom from the stock version.

HTC Desire 610, a phone ignored by developers...

I 'll do a year with my HTC Desire 610, and I can not believe that after so much time waiting for a good rom ( not specifically lollipop ) . In all this waiting just came out a ROM , which in use, but has way too bugs to be used by a normal person. I'm not saying that the ROM is bad, what I'm trying to say is that we need more development to the ROM .
What it makes me say that the HTC Desire 610 is ignored by the developers is that , for example, with a famous Moto G 3rd Gen. within a few days of its launch, its development began ROMS and more , meanwhile the desire 610 , only one developer took out a only ONE ROM , but long after its release.
And sorry for my bad English.
****ty phone=****ty support...
Lollipop is coming to the 610 *soon
Where did you get this info?

MiniBlu also said cm12.1 and above are coming too. So our 610 is not ignored anymore. We just got a stable cm11.
New update: MiniBlu said its really really close to cm12.1
I had so many sleepless nights flashing new -and potentially better- Roms with my HTC HD2 and later the ONE S. But phones are only getting slower. So i am actually glad this wont be the case with the DESIRE 610
I have ROOT and Adaway now, this is sufficiently enough for me.
The devs that worked on this phone got me through till i was able to acquire a nexus. little work and alot of reading. still use it as a gaming device for my four year old.
