You are on the wrong forum if you want help cloning another imei. You bought a phone not intended for sale and not intended to work. Nice media player though!

Is this one of the dummy sales phones
If so a search will bring up similar threads if you want to spend time attempting to get it to work.

I have just bought a galaxy note 10.1 n8000 3g+wifi for 1 month My tablet still worked well until I take its sim card out, and use it for my 3G USB. This USB seemed to be broken down, so that my computer was frozen every time I plug it in. I put my sim back into galaxy note 10.1, and a problem occurred. My Note 10.1 cannot register on network even I see a full signal bar; meanwhile, a notification showed that "the selected network is unavailable". When I try to make a call, it's appeared to be "Not registered on network". At first, I think this problem can simply solved by changing the sim card, but the real tragedy is that this problem continue occur regardless how many sims I buy from many different network providers. Those sims still work on other devices, hence this error certainly is from my tablet. Its firmware is stock 4.1.1 and rooted, I have tried to solve this error by reset factory, unroot, change to another rom, but they're all usless. Now, it only allows emergency calls. So, any help, suggestion or solution is appreciated
Very sorry for my bad English! Thank you
Your in the wrong device forum, this is the first gen Galaxy Tab, has nothing to do with the Note.

Hi guys,
I had purchased a Samsung galaxy s3 in India from ebay(big mistake) 2 years back. The mentioned model number of the mobile was GT-i9300 however I was not convinced that it was i9300 because it has got 2gb RAM. In About phone-->model it shows GT-19300 and even when the phone starts it shows GT-i9300. However in download mode (power + vol. down) it is mentioned to be model number SGH-T999. This is the most confusing this. (in binary counts it shows 1 too ). But in rootchecker it shows unrooted device. So I decided not to root the phone has it may brick it. Its on android 4.1.1 and when i try to update via OTA it shows "Your device has been modified. Cannot update"
I didn't much inquire that time since the phone was functioning very well and had no problem. But now when i insert 4g sim (Airtel 4g) the sim-card remains undetected. No problem with 2g/3g sims.
It would be really helpful if you all can assist me with the 4g sim issue.
Sounds like you bought a blacklisted phone with a cloned imei put into it so it could be activated... Google that model number that comes up and that'll show what phone that's really from
I just looked up sgh-t999....that's T-Mobile s3 someone flashed it and sold it to you man
Sent from my Nexus 5X using XDA Free mobile app

Thanks for replying. The phone works absolutely flawless except about the new 4g sim. I was using old sim (3g) for past 2 years but recently bought a new 4g sim and phone does not read it It shows "Insert a sim-card" message only. Tried with other 4g sims too and doesn't work but other sim-cards are accepted. Anyway by which i can make the 4g sim readable by phone. I particularly don't want LTE to work .....just the sim should be readable by phone
4g cards are different. I9300 is not 4g.
I9305 is lte variant and accepts 4g cards afaik.

I know that 4g(LTE) will not work on the phone but the phone should still read the sim and at-least give 3g speed. I inquired this with service provider too taht my phone is not accepting card and even they wondered and said it should work and there is some defect with phone. I have got another s3 (gt19300) and that can read the card. I even tested on HTC ONE X (not a 4g phone) and still the card is read by the phone and gives 3g network.
4g cards can be accepted by 3g phones only that it wont give 4g speed otherwise it should work
Hi,
I have korean Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910S),
I can not use any sim card in this mobile.
Allways this mobile shows "Limited Service" or sometimes "No Sim Card".
I tried hard to solve this puzzle but I can not do anything. I also went to local repairer, he also replied that he can not do anything.
So, my straitforward question is ...
can I use this SM-N910S (galaxy note 4 samsung phone) with any indian sim card?????
I want to use JIO 4G services. But it's card also shows "Limited Service"
So, please provide me its step by step (to the point) solution. So I can use this phone for phone calling and 4g services in india.
