[Q] Remove Safe Mode Functionality - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I want to disable the android functionality of getting into the safe mode. Means, an Android ROM in which there is no way to enter the device into the safe mode.
Is there any way ? disable the volume down functionality during boot so that it could not enter in Safe Mode ? or a Custom ROM ?
Thanking You !

Hi,
My phone is booting all the time into safe mode, because volume down key is stuck (is not working in recovery / rom)
so I was wondering if it is possible to disable the safe mode boot, must be a file in the system or modifying the kernel, bootloader, boot, staging?
developers please help out!

Wrong section but I believe it is because a issue with pushing on the volume buttons while booting up . Try not to do that/clean the buttons.

[Q] Lock download + recovery mode?

Hi everyone!
I've just been thinking of what would happen if someone stole my S3.
By just using a password on my lockscreen doesn't make me feel safe, since they can always reset the phone via download mode, or factory reset the phone in recovery mode.
Even if I used a third party app that can lock the phone, I can always get into recovery- and download mode to reset the phone, and all its settings.
I mean, how secure is that?
What would've been making me feel safer would've been to set a password on Download mode and Recovery mode.
Like this; you press all the required buttons to get into download mode and before getting in to download mode you'll have to type in a password, which I can set to whatever I want.
TL;DR Is there a way to set a password on download mode and recovery mode? Any app, or recovery that supports what I just mentioned?
Cheers,
Sebastian

I don't think what you're asking is possible... You can use avg to block your phone from its website which is more secure...
HIT THANKS IF I HELPED
no, it is not possible, and never will be. just encrypt your phone and the data will be secure

Can Android Boot to ClockworkMod if 0% battery?

Hi, this may be old android related question.
I have galaxy s5 and volume button are broken literally cannot press anymore, I can only get into recovery/fastboot mode by using advanced option lineage os etc.
I remember from early 2012-2014 some users say it's best to use CWM recovery because they said if phone is 0% you just need to plug in usb charge, the phone will auto first will boot to recovery mode without press any key volume/home.
can anyone confirm this is true or not, thank you.
