Hi,
I have a Neken N6 which I bought in December last year. I recently decided to update it to a custom firmware and have messed it up.
I tried installing Clockwork ROM manager from the adroid device, but I couldn't get proper root access to the phone.
I could boot to the recovery menu by pressing Vol Up when it was turned on, but it would not accept any of the ZIP files I tried to use. I scoured the internet and discovered several different ROMs for my model, but it gave an error.
I installed the MobileUncle App from the marketplace and tried to use the Neken recovery manager it tried to install.
Somehow trying to install all the different ROMs stopped the recovery section from loading.
I eventually got MTKDroid tools working on my WinXP machine, I then made the mistake of using it to replace the boot.img file on the device. Ever since then my phone endlessly reboots.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to re-flash it? I tried using ADB but it cannot locate the device.

Hello
I have been using my int Gs3 for sometime and decided to root and explore the mods and custom fw world. I have started with getting to root access and after that install CWM.
Then I try to install nightly cyanogenmod 10. It didnt work and boot back to normal GS3 Touchwiz interface. After that I tried the GooManager and when the phone is restarted it went to bootloop. I removed the battery and put it back. The problem started there.
The phone does not boot to any OS, I only can see the galaxy s3 9300 black splash screen and awatis there. I can go into download mode, but when I go into recovery mode, I can see the Android robot, and it dies The screen is too fast but what I can see it cannot mount EFS, System and any folder.
So I have tried several different methods
- Tried to flash with original rom, different roms, CWM and what I can find suitable for international model. But everytime I got stucked in Nand Write part. In some of them, the flash started and stucked in installing some parts(passes the cache and hidden and stuck after that)
- Tried with bricked phone roms, different PIT files and Bootloader Vralec methods.
- When I am trying these, I have tried with 3 different PC's with/without KIES and Samsung drivers installed. When I plug the phone in Download mode, the PC recognizes it as Generic device.
- I manage to flash the CWM but when it restarts it does not go any further than the first splash screen, but in Odin, some time later it turns to pass. Funny, when the phone is on Galasy S3 black splash screen, the pc recognizes the phone and starts to install the driver.
So, here is an interesting flashing story of mine. I really would appreciate your valuable comments and suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

Hi all,
I need some help please.
I tried to root my sons galaxy young S6310N using a video on you tube
However at the 4.41 point I didnt have the yes- root option.
I themn rebooted and it went back into CWM recovery. v6.0.3.2
It's been stuck in this for 2 days now, I have searched everywhere for a solution but I'm lost now. I have information overload I think.
I have tried to install drivers through Kies but it won't recognise my phone in CWM recovery or in download mode.
I have tried to install a custom rom via sd card, it seems to work but reboots into CWM again.
I fear I may have made a mess of it now by messing around with things I know nothing about. I panicked really.
The phone was running jelly bean and is only a week old.
I can get adb but not sure how to use it properly.
Could someone please help?
Thanks in advance
sorted it myself
Hi, just in case anyone was interested I managed to sort this.
I put phone into download mode (holding vol - & menu & power) then pressed up at logo screen to enter download mode.
My pc then installed drivers automatically (something I had been struggling with in CWM recovery mode)
I then installed stock rom recovery.tar.md5 file using odin and the phone rebooted as normal.
I have given up trying to root it now, I may learn properly before attempting again, or may leave it.
Search for your device first before making a thread..!!

Good..but always use recovery for ur phone only..or make it for ur phone..
And do any changes in stock ROM after creating a BACKUP of the same..
ROOTING is not a difficult now-a-days but overcoming from the loss of time and data after BRICKING is so painful.
If you are not friendly with the commands and codes then use a software for that or follow up the WRITTEN guide..or use FARMAROOT app.
Head to thread...Thanks Mr. Bin4ry for this awesome method:
Rooting almost every phone
Enjoy..!!
I have a a Lenovo Yoga 8 B6000. Im running 4.4.2 and after some fiddling, used Vroot to root, and subsequently went through some arduous steps to finally remove the Vroot and replace with SuperSu. Life was good. Then I got a little careless when removing some of the bloatware and ended up with a constant boot-loop problem. And of course, no backup. (whoops!)
I have been researching this the past 2 days for a workable solution and am reaching out for some more refined assistance.
Here is what I have done thus far:
When pressing Power + VOL+/- I get to the initial recovery menu which gave me: Recovery, Fastboot, and Normal. After selecting the "Recovery" mode, I get the "No Command", after which I pressed the power button one more time and got into the English recovery menu. I show
Android System Recovery <3e>
B6000_A442_001_026_141117_WW_WIFI
Reboot System Now
Apply Update from ADB
Apply Update from SDCard
Apply update from Cache
Wipe data/Factory Reset
Wipe Cache Partition
I attempted to wipe the cache, followed by Wipe data/Factory reset. Following this procedure, I remained in the boot loop.
I installed ADB Flashtool drivers for WIN7 and attempted to use flash tool which was also suggested on this site. I got a 4.2.2 ROM "B6000_A422_000_059_131219_WW_WIFI" from a russian lenovo forum site to use with the flash tool and because the tablet continues in boot loop when starting, there was no loading of the ROM from that method.
I put the rom on an SD card and went into recovery mode. The ROM was not visible by the recovery menu (By that I guess the Apply Update from SDCard is looking for a specific file extension, which is not present).
I may have tried a few other things which are not popping into my head at the moment.
Im kind of at a loss and looking for any ideas from the gurus out there on how I might be able to get any kind of ROM to flash onto my B6000 and getting it up and running again.
Thanks
I was able to successfully fix the Yoga 8 tablet by using the instructions here:
//aluk4rd.wordpress.com/2014/09/08/an-easy-guide-for-restoring-your-stock-4-2-2-firmware-on-your-lenovo-yoga-tablets-8-and-10-b6000-and-b8000/
The trickiest part was getting the Mediatek driver installed. I use a dual booting MAC with WIN7 and sometimes there are some kwirks when operating in WIN7. However, the results of the instructions brought my tablet back to life, as well as downgrading to 4.2.2
Hi engineer2loggie,
How did you get that firmware? Can you tell where can I download it?
Thanks.
has anybody found a solution to this? im stuck with the same problem atm
Hey there, I'm currently possesed a THL 2015, chiense phone, with firmare kitkat 4.4.4, Rooted.
Ok, today i was trying to change my Bootanimation (which i've changed several times already), but i've encountred a huge problem.
My phone has stucked on On/Off loops at the first time after i've changed the bootanimation...
Well i've tried to enter Recovery Mode.. but.. hmm.. how should i put it... My phone got stuck on it aswell..
My phone is looping in Recovery mode (i know that because there is the logo with the "No command thing"),
The device is turning off, then back on every 7~15 seconds after enerting automaticly into Recovery mode..
I've tried every single key pressing on the On/off key and Volume keys.. but in failure.. the Recovery mode won't goes out, and the device still loops.
Okay... now What i've tried also.
I've tried to connect my device into my computer trying to getting a shell trough ADB. but in failure, cause of the device loops in Recovery Mode, adb and the computer won't recongnizing my device.
Ok.. Flashing?
So i've tried to download SP_Flash_tool for flashing into stocked downloaded rom, but also in failure, non of the roms i've downloaded for my Device were recognized in the SP flash tool, (the scatter).
I've downloaded it from several sites in them were this site: needrom/com/download/thl-2015.
Tried every rom, still not recognizing.
Well i've failured in everything i've tried, so im here asking for help.
My main goal is getting a shell for my device, for me deleting the bootanimation i've tried to install.
ok.. i've talked too much..
Thank's for helping.
Hello! I posted on the official forum for Blackview but so far I haven't gotten a response. TL;DR, my phone, a Blackview BV5800 PRO, could not boot up (stuck on logo) and using recovery mode doesn't work. I get mounting issues when I try to factory reset, wiping the partition cache, and even mounting it (an option).
So my last resort was to attempt to re-flash the ROM using the provided ROM file by the OEM, which they did have on their forum. The first time around when I downloaded the ROM plus the SP Flash Tool, followed the instructions and all, it appears to be flashing just fine. As soon as it finished with the checkmark on screen, the phone is stuck in a black screen and Windows keeps detecting the device over and over, but nothing happens on the phone. From my research online, this is a feature of all MediaTek devices in an attempt to restore a factory ROM.
Now, when I try to flash again with the SP Flash Tool with the same ROM, I am getting a "STATUS_DA_HASH_MISMATCH" error. Or sometimes i get the "STATUS_BROM_CMD_SEND_DA_FAIL error. At this point, I tried every possible option within the tool itself as well as trying all combinations on the phone Power + Vol down/up/both then plugging it to my PC, nothing. It keeps showing the same error.
Frustrated with this, did I screw up something? Did the preloader corrupt during the first run? I don't know what to do at this point.
