If you need phablet take g pro lite if you need smartphone choose g2 mini
G pro lite has only 2 cores with 1,0mghz when g2 mini has 4x1,2 which gives better performance
As mentioned above, my vote goes with G2 Mini as well, if screen space is not that much of a factor. It's a great phone.
LG G Pro Lite Dual
- low end specs
- bigger screen
Thanks.. Is it akward to have power and volume buttons on back?? And what do you think, is XPERIA M2 better than g2 mini?

I changed Xperia M2 LTE (D2303) for LG G2 Mini LTE (D620R). Trust me, this LG beats M2 in every paragraph.

I like the buttons on the back.
I don't have the M2 so I can't tell.
Just look for info on both and compare.

Choose the lg g2 mini. Or the g3 beat almost the same price but it has the lg g3 design
Go with LG G2 mini, pal. It is a good deal in lots of aspects. And if you are a bit confident about tweaking and installing a custom rom you would feel amazed to see that this phone is brilliant. The keys on the back cover is something you will get is used to very shortly.

As per my issue I would Luke to inform you to make a checklist about your needs and try to match on gsmarena with your checklist. I hope you will find your best one.
Another thing is no device are fully compiled for all sort of needs like surfing, gaming, music, video etc. Every device has its own pros & cons, you will find these over gsmarena too.
Please update us about your needs and your selection. So that this thread will be helpful for other's whone looking for it.

Large screen is not that important for me. Good battery, yes. I would prefer sense but with my requirements, it doesn't fit my budget.
My requirements:
GPU for HD Games
Camera 5MP or above
Screen resolution should be good
At least 1 Ghz processor
And some other basic needs that now a days are fullfilled on almost all the handsets. Oops and also xda support/development of tons should be good.
For the above specs, I found Neo V to be beneficial. Any other suggestions ?

I don't really know how much your budget is since my currency is the Euro but for your requirements (mine were pretty much the same) I would buy Xperia Play (if you're really into gamming). I also considered Neo V but I wanted a bigger screen and the physical controls are really awesome. Neo V is around 160€ in my country and I bought Play for 200€, not that much difference.
I'd recommend a galaxy S. Strong gpu beautiful screen flash and good rom development..

****.. now I'm really confused between these three phones:
HTC One V - doesn't have front camera
Sony Ericsson Neo V - less internal space and a bit old
Samsung Galaxy S - less ROM
Above phones have its cons. I'm from India and here, 3G is not yet fully established. It might take almost a year or 2 for it to get established fully.

Don't buy the galaxy s. Its a nice phone but very old and Samsung has stopped supporting it. You're better off with the Sony or HTC phone that you've mentioned.
Ps.Sony phone gets official ics.

Neo V has CM9 support from FXP Team and also we (TeamXperia) ported AOKP to it so its handy
One V would be the best choice if you are looking for a newer phone
All depends on price, if they are similar price then go for one V

Do your research on the phones available to you and make up your own mind. Never and I mean never get a phone based on how many Developers the phone has because you will be disappointed when the next best device comes out and the Devs move devices as they tend to do.
In closing make up your own mind

Hey,
I would recommend you the Lg Optimus, since it has a big display, which means you can play better, Single-core processor(1ghz), pretty good battery (1700 mah) and a large internal storage, which means you can keep apps in internal store (4GB internal storage, which of them 2.4GB usable). Moreover it has a very good camera, if you care about that (5MP, 30 fps and 1080p recording). It comes with ICS, so probably developers will upgrade it to Jelly Bean.
Hope that helped, and click Thanks button if so...
The op is referring to the single core 1ghz optimus l7. It isnt great. Best of the bunch is htc one v

I vote One V. Great build quality and a dual core Snapdragon S4 if I remember correctly. Only downside is the 4.3" screen size, which I reckon is manageable.
Need some advice; should I buy the Motorola Atrix 4G or Sony Xperia Sola? I plan to use it with Straight Talk AT&T.
Buy the atrix, it has more ram, better screen.. and you will have cm10.1 while sola won't since st-ericsson doesn't release sources for their chipsets.

Odp: Should I buy Motorola Atrix 4G or Sony Xperia Sola?
But Atrix will never have official 4.0 like sola, and it now doesn't have fully working port because of lack of kernel sources- some developers are trying to port but it is very hard. While sola has cm9 which works better than on atrix and probably will have cm10. And above all tegra isn't so good as it has been called. Novathor+ one core mali400 is more powerful- i can say it as a former owner of atrix. For me sola is better

Go for Sola,it lacks only a better RAM. But it isn't a big problem.

So two votes for the Atrix and two for the Sola. I guess it's a tossup.

Go for Atrix but stay on GB! I have both Atrix and U, Atrix has higher resolution and better battery. CM10 lacks drivers for graphics so You will not have HW accelleration+ camera issues on random base.

Guys im in the thought of purchasing xperia tipo to my girlfriend
B4 that I need to know something about it can you tell me the negatives in it ....???
Also positives...
Well tipo has Xloud tm experience which allows it to play music at very loud volumes and enhances the quality of the speakers. Tipo scored very high in Antutu so if your gf is in gaming then I'll recommend it. The bandwidth and upload speed is also quite good. Plus it is a budget phone. The build design of Tipo is beautiful and many reviews has given it full stars for it's build quality. Also it is very light and easy to hold. The only negative is its small screen size. But you can solve that by buying miro.
HIT THANKS

What do u think abt Motorola fire xt
Sent from my MT11i using xda app-developers app
Yes it is good too . But the most reviews I have read , it is a fail mobile. Motorola fire xt is thicker than tipo considering the mobile is from Motorola which creates very thin mobiles. In a video review I saw that it takes very long time to boot load. Also there were many problems with the touch screen. The sound quality isnt that great either. The internet is same as tipo considering if you're using the same WiFi. But I think your gf wouldn't so much in hifi technology, so yeah you can buy her this phone taking into account that the screen is 3.5inches.
PS have you tried htc explorer.

Hey guys, so I've been using a Samsung Galaxy SL i9003 for quite some time and I've been thinking of getting a new phone and I'm looking in getting either the Optimus L9 or the Razr D3.
Which would be the better choice between both?
Also, what are you guys' thoughts on either of the phones?
Thanks.
The l9 has a bigger screen. Otherwise they don't have much of a difference. Battery life would probably be good on both and they have similar CPU. also the d3 only shoots 720p video and not 1080p

I see, also, I heard that the L9 doesn't have a light sensor, is this much of a problem?
Also, any word that the L9 is going to get updated to 4.2/5.0?
