I read something about wiping the watch to force the update and I tried it. I wiped it 3 times and then did a check for updates. It was there and downloaded. If you haven't gotten it yet give this method a try. It doesn't require any technical skills or scripts.
This worked for me. No updates before I reset, reset the watch, reconnected to my phone and then immediately checked for the update and it downloaded.

Hi guys
My N9 just arrived by courier, Plugged it in, cranked it on.
Tells me straight away there is an OTA update, 297.9MB ok cool, go.
Download doesn't seem to be running (have an LTE pocket wifi which pulls in 30+MB/s)...... keep waiting, no progress. Have restarted tablet a couple of times, same effect.
Have also tried to tether directly from phone...same....
is the server pooped?
Has your N9 downloaded the update now? I have the same problem with my wlan N9.
Fixed with factory reset
I had this problem today. I was able to boot into recovery by holding down on bootup. Then I chose to do a factory reset, and the next time I set up the device the download worked.
Yes I tried that 3 times or so but didn't work. Then, today in the morning it was finished so I guess there had been a server proplem.
Hello all, I'm having a slight problem, I noticed that AT&T keeps trying to roll-out a new software update, however, my Galaxy S6 Active will download it fine, and then when trying to install the update I get prompted with the message "The install cannot be completed".
I thought at first this must be due to an application that I had disabled, but unfortunately it was not the case as I enabled every blocked app, and yet I still got the same error.
8 files still remain disabled even though I tell Debloater to "unblock" all and they include the following (I have tried countless times to enable these files with no luck):
ContainerAgent2.apk
EmergencyLauncher.apk
KnoxBBCProvider.apk
KnoxKeyguard.apk
KnoxShortcuts.apk
KnoxSwitcher.apk
KnoxTrustAgent.apk
KnoxVerifier.apk
I even performed a hard factory data reset, and these apps still remained blocked. I just want to be able to receive OTA software updates. Any ideas on what I can do? Thanks.
Install the original firmware via Odin.

Hi,
Have you found a solution? what you have to able to OTA update works?
tks!
Before we get started, I'll list what I've done. I've....
Factory reset the watch, I've reset the watch after it was factory reset. I've disabled and re-enabled Bluetooth on my phone (An HTC One M8) restarted it, re-enabled bluetooth, attempted to connect (Via Android Wear, of course) after everything is reset. I've done this in every imaginable order. I've even tried to connect via phone bluetooth. (not through Android Wear.)
I've also tried to go through all of my apps that might access anything bluetooth related; nothing. I've ALSO ALSO gone through my apps to clear the cache on everything that might be related to it.
I said "Screw it!" and I did a factory reset, which was hard for me to do. Nothing. Same error. Tried all of the above AFTER the factory reset. Nothing.
Then I went back to the beginning and I upgraded my ROM. (Skydragon 6.1 GPe) Nothing.
I did all of the above after re-installing that ROM. Nothing.
I went back to the recovery and wiped the cache/dalvik and just re-installed the ROM. Again, nothing.
Obviously, as we all know, you don't actually type anything in, you just verify the number, so there's no way I could have messed the code up.
Anyway, at this point, I'm out of ideas. If I remember something that I didn't put on here, I'll edit my post.
Anyone have any ideas?

FOR THOSE OF YOU HAVING THIS ISSUE: Update your phone's firmware! That's all I had to do to get mine to work.
Can I have a mod close this thread?
Thread closed per OP request.
i have LG G4 h810 5.1 official then after i update it to marshmallow using auto updates and when i clicked on security option in settings then i get error "Unfortunately com.android.settings stopped working" i try factory reset many times but nothing happens i think that the latest update which i applied to my phone has an error inside it.
can someone help me ?
same issue here man, i had been browsing all over internet trying a lot of solutions, none of them worked i tried to root the phone, install a new firmware, i cant find the right firmware for it. is there somebody who can help us?
I'm stuck with the same issue... How to fix it...
Have you guys tried other firmware such as Lineage os or cyanogenmod?
I'm stuck with same issue... Can't install apps from unveriffied source.
I also have been on this issue of setting app crashing when I try enter "Apps" in settings and click on any app, for weeks trying to fix it, including factory reset 10 times, clearing cash and starting new account on my phone, after I noticed it on my seldom used LG G4. But now it looks like I finally fixed it a minute ago (my com.android.settings stopped crashing, at least for now.) I used free App Manager by AndroidDeveloperLB from Google Play Store. It has option... something like uninstalling updates (or rolling a selected app back to the original installation). I uninstalled the update, and app "Settings" stopped crashing. Now I am waiting to see if system will install this update again, and if it causes crashing again... then I will think what to do... If crashes again, then I guess I will have to do a research and block updates for this app somehow)
Am stuck with same problem too. Cant install apps or set a lock code for my LG G4 H810 from ATT running on Marshmallow

I just fixed this issue on mine, only thing I did was restore my system through twrp. I made backups of prettymuch everything while the phone was experiencing bootloop because I guess I stopped google play services with airfrozen. Seems to have that effect anyway... So before factory resetting, decided to do a backup of system and data and prettymuch all the essential things, then reset and got the problem popping up in a fresh reset phone. Strange that my original more hacked and unlocked rom seemed not to have it... I couldn't enable debugging so I had to resort to twrp to figure out what to do and took a gamble and restored the system. Wow, so shocked when it showed up normal again.
So only take away is that the problem is isolated in the system part not data. If it is something to do with google play store and maybe I rolled things back to a previous version, I have no clue. Wish I could say for sure. If you don't have twrp, get it and you'll be back up in no time in some form I'm sure..
Last week on Thursday, I allowed Verizon to install their Software Update 21 (April 2020.) It made it as far as the going through the optimizing apps and then was stuck in a boot loop. The phone would be usable for about a minute, then would freeze, and then reboot. If I clicked on the System Update option in settings, it would say that a system update was in progress. I chatted with Verizon, and they ended up telling me that the only way to stop the update was to do a factory reset, which I am doing everything I can not to do that as I don't want to lose my data.
I changed it into maximum power mode and it did stop the update for that time being and I was able to use the phone, texting, etc. This allowed me to at least connect the phone to my computer to backup all of the directories. After many reboots, on Friday it finally stopped doing the update and gave me an error which I think was 410. It thought it was updated, though did show as failed. When checking for updates, it said it was the current version. Twice I was able to get the phone to stop by freezing when going to the app and stopping some programs (sadly, I was not able to remember the exact combination that worked) which allowed me to use the phone like normal. All this while, I was uninstalling a large amount of the apps that I had installed hoping that would minimize whatever may have been causing the problem.
Went to each of the google and samsung apps, stopped, disable, and reverted them all back to factory defaults. Guess that was a bad idea, from then on I received an error as soon as the phone started which caused it to go directly into recovery mode. I chatted with samsung and they thought it might be a hardware issue. I still think it is related to their software update, so not a hardware issue.
By using Odin, I loaded the firmware from March 2020, and when it rebooted, it did go as far as optimizing the apps, though anytime it booted up, it would never get past the white verizon loading screen. It took me hours before I discovered that Odin was failing to load the firmware on the phone as the Windows 10 laptop only had USB 3.0 ports which don't always work with Odin, and ended up being successful using my old Windows XP laptop as the USB 2.0 ports worked fine. After a bit hanging on the verizon loading screen, it would reboot and never went past. I have been able to load the March and April 2020, though none of them will ever get past that white verizon loading screen. I did see something say that in loading TWRP, I could possibly do a full backup of the phone which is what I would like to do.
One time I only loaded the AB file for a different version than I had loaded, and it was the first time it went beyond the white screen, only to tell me that the verification failed and it would need for me to do a factory reset. I was able to reboot the phone without actually doing the reset.
I have read many posts here and the forums on androidcentral, and with so many things, I really needed to post to get guidance from people here that can point me in the right direction for any other things that I can try. As you have read, doing everything that I can to get the phone working by keeping my data. Any help would really be appreciated.
