How to bypass "configuring your phone" screen after fresh boot
Are you referring to a fresh flash boot? Or a typical reboot? More detail would be nice.
Just press thus button combos
Volume up >volume down>home>back
By doing this it will give you option to skip phone configuration.
My lg stylo 3 wont go past configuring your phone screen after hard reset.

There was nothing there that could help me. Please do help me with my problem. I just bought the phone and did a lot of work on it. Replaced digitizer and lcd. I hard reset it to erase my friends accounts and info cause he didn't want them on there if I had the phone. I did but now it goes past WiFi page but won't go past "configuring your phone" screen. I was even patient and waited an hour and a half almost 2 hours. Please help.

Just got an amazing deal on Razr. It does have a clean ESN, but unfortunately, I do not have Verizon as a carrier, but I was hoping to use this as an "mp3" player and such. Root it, have fun with it, etc.
Right now, when I power on, it comes to the "Emergency call" screen, and says "No Service" at the bottom. The previous owner did leave an old SIM in it. When the SIM is removed it goes to the same screen when powered on.
I have read around (yes, I did try finding help around the web before I came here and asked) that the activation screen can be skipped and it'll work without a SIM.
When I try to go into the recovery (Vol down + power) to hard reset, the physical volume buttons don't work to scroll to the options, nor does volume up work to select options. Just ends up resetting the phone after the timeout.
I have looked everywhere for a workaround or fix for this. Couldn't find much on the recovery part of it.
Stock ROM and unrooted (told by previous owner)
HELP?
I have a weird issue with the screen. Sometimes while using the screen just goes black. The device is still on, i can hear music or video playing but can't interact with the device. Only way to fix it is to press the power button to turn off the screen and turn it on again.
KitKat, Rooted with Xposed.
I have a similar issue. I freeze in the lock screen. I have to reboot to fix it. It's been happening for awhile. It's frustrating.

I am running on stock lollipop and i started to notice that after every time I charge my phone over night I wake up and the first thing that is open is a google+ looking app. I keep forgetting to take a screen shoot but essentially in the upper left it says google + and the rest of the phone is black besides the status bar. I can just simply press home and everything is working fine. I am just confused as to why this happens since I don't use google +, i use google services but not google +. Anyone else getting this?
Just uninstall it, it seems like it is just glitch just try letting the phone sit for like 5 mins without touching it.
I have a T-Mobile G3 (D851) and the same thing has been happening to me every time I charge it. I started noticing it about 2 or 3 weeks ago. The first, or one of the first, times it happened it froze the phone and I could not do a soft or hard reboot, had to remove the battery.
My phone is tied to my gmail account so I'm guessing this behavior might be related to some type of auto-backup/sync while charging only. Google Photos does this for instance only while plugged in, but I don't have Photo backup enabled so i'm still trying to figure this out too.
edit: Running stock T-Mobile OS Kitkat 4.4.2

Hello everyone I recently got the LG Lucky and foolishly set up my lock screen before bed one night and forget my pin. Also I hadn't set up any google accounts so bypassing the lockscreen is seeming impossible.
I don't have USB debugging enabled and I for the life of me cannot find how to factory reset it or another problem of getting back into my phone. If anyone knows a solution I'd be forever grateful.
Found a solution
After talking with tech support they told me how to do a hard reset. While the device is off hold volume down and the power button. Once the LG logo comes up release the power button then immediately hold it again
You're the man
Thank you much for this, had a friend in distress and you saved the day. Cheers!
thanks been wanting to know how to do this since i got mine thank you thank you thank you

factory data reset is disabled by Kill switch this is the message i get when i try to reset and i keep getting the screen with the pier and emergency call press and hold
box what does factory data reset is disabled by kill switch????? any help would be greatly appreciated.

U must disable McAfee s lock. When u register your phone with McAfee it automatically turns on the option to disable resets to detour theft. Turn that off (hopefully u didn't forget your 6 pin password) then u can reset your phone. I had to do the reset with the boot up reset feature
How do I get into McAfee to turn it off if I cannot get into my phone?
I have a Doogee nova y100x for 2 months. It worked perfectly in the beginning but now it keeps freezing and has problems with turning back on.
Sometimes it freezes in an application and then none of the apps will turn on. Just a blank screen. If I try to restart or turn it off, it turns off but won't turn back on. Sometimes while the screen is black and it supposed to be turned off if tap the screen it will steel buzz.
When I remove the battery and put it back, after turning back on it won't turn on my SIM card. And sometimes doesn't get my sd card.
And sometimes it will just simply froze and do nothing.
I tried to reset it, didn't help.
What could I do with it? :crying:
Thank you for your answer!!!
I would use a factory reset. If that doesn´t help I guess you will have to RMA it.

I had almost the same problems with my DOOGEE and I just wanted to smash it into a wall, or you can consider to carry the phone in for service if your warranty is still valid
