Did you solve this problem? I have the same
Enter EDL Mode With K920
For Entering in EDL (Emergency Download Mode) In K920 ,
First try turn off your phone completely
then press Volume + and open your QFIL Program and connect usb cable to this (in this mode recognize as 9008 mode)
then you can flash it
but i flashed all rom that i know and still errors continues,
anyone know how can i Format my phone (Brush it from all previous things install on phones) ?
Enter testing, factory mode, power button+volume down. Wipe data, erase sd card, factory reset.
Same problem here.. Tried to flash with wrong model TWRP
Not only Blue light

My Redmi Note 4 is hard bricked...:crying:
I unlocked the bootloader the official way and was trying to flash lineageos on it. I failed :crying:
I cant go into Fastboot mode or Recovery. The Phone wont turn on. I get the Red LED light, when i connect it with the computer.
I bought a Deep Flash Cable and connected my phone with unplugged battery. In device manager under ports i got
qualcomm hs-usb diagnostics 900e. But under MIFlash tool there was no com port. So i changed the driver of the
qualcomm hs-usb diagnostics 900e to qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008 (com10) and i got com10 in miflash. If i try to flash the fastboot rom (stable) i get this error: sahara read end error eith status:9. :crying:
I hope someone can help me?

1. Remove the back panel then the battery connector. Keep it in that way for a while like a minute
2. Then short either the 'most effective points' or 'less effective points' following this thread . While keeping them short, connect the USB cable to the Computer, it will enter into 'download' mode suitable for miFlash/QFIL
Hi guys, I bricked my RN3 (Snapdragon) today after flashing an incompatible file (probably), now it doesn't switch on nor go to the bootloader. Just the LED blinks red on connecting USB which means it is on EDL mode (right?) So, I've searched and found similar problems with recommendations of the tespoint method and the deep flash cable. But the problem is everyone sees that PC detects as a Qualcomm device either in Diagnostics mode or the other but mine shows up "Unknown USB device". What can I do from here? Please help
PS: I'm on Windows and driver signature is disabled only.
Reinstall drivers, try different pc
Red lights blinking when plugged in, shows up as "Qualcomm HS-USB Diagnostics 900E"
Hi,
my Redmi Note 3 (Snapdragon) suddenly stopped working and won't turn on again.
It is from Gearbest and had probably a shop rom installed. I didn't flash any ROM or didn't root it but i checked the "OEM unlock" option in developer options. After that it was bricked (?).
Fastboot doesn't work, it won't turn on (nothing on the screen) and it is recognized in Windows as "Qualcomm HS-USB Diagnostics 900E" when plugged to the pc. Also the LED blinks constantly in red.
Is this already EDL mode?
I tried to use Mi Flash and it didn't recognize the phone. After manually installing "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" in the device manager Mi flash detects it.
When i try to flash a fastboot rom i get the error "sahara read end error with status: 9".
Also tried to open it and short circuit the testpoint pins. In this moment the device is regognized again but nothing changes and it's exactly like described before.
Is the phone dead or can i try anything else?
Thanks
I can't say fire sure but it seems like a hardware problem and that most likely means that it's dead.
You also posted this in the wrong section. This should be in Q&A/Help section. Not in development.
Try charging it for a while. This also happens when the battery reaches an ultra low power state.
If doesn't work, Boot into edl using test point method and flash fastboot rom.
Try this, it worked for me.

If it doesn't work then try this one.

So I was looking around in TWRP, and foolishly, changed the system partition (changed from ext4 to ext3 I believe)..
Power and VOL- shows the EDM - green notification LED - though my PC doesn't recognize HS-USB QDLoader 9008 .
so; no booting, no splash screen, nothing going on, except the green notification blip when holding hard-reset buttons. I've been searching online and saw some guys using a deep flash cable to short circuit the testing pins, does anyone have experience with this fix?
any help would be appreciated..!

The Qualcomm QDLoader Driver only is detecting the device when the phone is connected to PC in EDL Mode or Download Mode.
How to boot into EDL Mode on Qualcomm based Android phones is described here.

I am aware of that, however, my PC doesn't recognize the device when I try to enter EDL mode (Yes, i have installed the qualcomm USB drivers, QDloader, QPST, adb drivers etc)
I fixed it eventually with a Deep Flash cable [EDL] ! It was the only way to trigger the EDL mode. It's aliiive!!
