Ok this is based on what the settings are on my device. I found the info by installing this app http://forum.xda-developers.com/not.../app-one-click-hotspot-enabler-menus-t2816159 this tool gives/finds all the hidden settings. Under IOTHiddenMenu I think EHRPD 1x Mode or LTE+CDMA+EVDO Mode should be checked. On my device it shows EHRPD as ON. Under EVDO DDTM it shows "DDTM OFF" . Your APN's are gone according to the screenshot you should have " APN2 LTE internet " checked. Hope this helped !!!

Hi
8 hours now of searching but still no luck. I followed a thread here in the forum to root it and edit the build.prop file to enable the hidden menu, all the codes are working fine now expect the ##DMMODE#. can't get the phone to the diag mode to read and write via CDMA workshop.
here's what I'm doing:
*#7284#
UART -> Modem
*#9090#
DM over UART(*)
DBG MSG ON(*)
The phone is listed as SAMSUNG USB Mobile Modem in the pc device manager.
All what I'm getting in CDMA workshop is "Failed.. Phone doesn't answer"
Note: Samsung drivers are installed and my galaxy S3 works fine in CDMA workshop, I can read and write.
Can you post or link the build.prop edit for enabling the hidden menu?

Here is the build.prop Link
Check This Link too in case your device isn't rooted yet (VRUAME7 Build Only)
Thanks. Yep I rooted it twenty minutes after getting it home. I just couldn't find the thread on how to enable the hidden menu. Or rather, I found some info to supposedly do it, but it wasn't working for me.
Oh sorry I'm mean this link

OK i have a i717 I have rooted and CWMR as long as I flash a JB rom I can get 4g LTE or any other rom however if I flash a KK rom all I can recieve is H or H+ as well as my signal drops in or out the KK roms that I have tried are :
LS-KK-v3.0-2014-02-15-quincyatt
Slim-quincyatt-4.4.beta.1-UNOFFICIAL-20131202-1440
BeanStalk-4.4.249-20140220-quincyatt
CandyKat-v1.1-20140220-quincyatt
Currently I am running :
BlackStar BlackJelly ver 2 = 4g LTE
none of the above KK roms i am able to receive the same signal with not just data the cell signal drops in and out. I have wiped multiple times before installing any new this includes the system as well as cache and dalvik etc. No matter how i install or how many times i wipe no success has any had this issue before or have a solution? I would like a lite rom for KK Short of editing the rom myself I do not know what the issue is. Do these roms just not support LTE speeds or...........
I thought H+ was LTE ?

It's close, but not technically LTE.
IDK if you tried this but: go to dialer, *#*#4636#*#* then click phone settings, scroll down to preferred network type and select LTE/GSM. also go to settings, more, and select the LTE APN for your carrier.
4G/LTE
I have the same issue. I get 4g/LTE on the jellybean roms, but not on the KK roms. I have tried numerous Radios to no avail. The *#*#4636#*#* doesn't work at all. On some radios you can change the LTE/GSM, but it doesn't show it under settings in the rom. It just says "LTE recommended", but there is no way to select it.

Hey this worked like a charm. Went from 2.9mb to 9.6mb DL. First settings, connection manager, check LTE (here my speeds bumped from 2.99mb to 5.18mb. Then *#*#4636#*#* select bet. Automatic and USA Bands. I don't know on which mine's was but the latter produced the higher speeds.
Thanx!

After flashing s5830i this trouble happened. Phone with inserted SIM is not looking for service provider.
But if you activate the offline mode, then turn off and quickly go to search for networks, the networks are.
When choosing any operator message appears "Your sim card does not allow a connection to this network".
If you turn on the phone without sim, networks are also no problem. Already tried all that is possible, different stock firmware.
Imei ok, phone is not locked. Prompt in what could be the problem. Log radio attached. View attachment radio.rar

"Select automatically" does not solve my problem. GALAXY TOOLBOX not supported, established a similar application GalaxSim Unlock, locks were not found.

Reasons unknown to me were blocked my 4 sim cards, and one does not read because of the fact that apparently too old. During this time, flashed about 15 different drivers, and so many versions of modems that does not resolve the problem. As it turned out simple Thank you very much mahithm, for the help. :good::cyclops:
Dear moderators, problem solved. Topic can be closed, thanks.

Glad I could help buddy
Hi
I want to receive/send calls through the LTE (4G), my carrier support it, i have the 4G+ in my statubar.
In the network settings, i don't have the VolTe switch, so i have do a chat with the carrier assistance, no problem for them.
I have also contact the OnePlus support chat, they make me switching my SIM card from the first slot to the second one + reboot but the problem is still here, they make me wipe the cache and wype networks settings, same result.
I have check on the web, and i get this: https://www.phonandroid.com/forum/t...-et-volte-sur-oneplus-6-7-8-sans-root.206649/
(XDA equivalent: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/guide-activate-volte-and-vowifi-simple-and-clear.4116051/)
But when i connect my device, the driver in my devmgmt.msc isn't good, it say that the driver for this device is not installed but i have install "QPST_2.7.460" and "QUD.WIN.1.1+Installer-10037.3+Setup" with administrator access.

It show me this:
Weird there is no telephone number.
In the three dots menu there is IMS service status and there it should say registered in first line.
I'm on 10.5.8 89 ROM (NA) by the way
EDIT: installing the driver the xda thread says
2. Install Qualcomm QPST Diag port x64 / QPST 2.7.474 software on your computer (links below)
Important: there should be no other Qualcomm drivers on the computer, disable them, otherwise error messages will appear!

However, I did not do that modification myself but it seems to be a good option as your carrier is mentioned explicitely.

I think I'm going to have to find out if I have a driver from the Qualcomm manufacturer already installed somewhere in my computer and remove it while I'm working on it.
I just bought S20 Ultra. My service is thru Total Wireless but it is a Verizon phone. I bought a new SIM and went thru all the hoops to activate it but I have no data, and no messaging. It shows 4G LTE on the top but it is greyed out. When I try to make a call it shows 1X. Also when I go to APN settings I can not add or edit and it displays "APN settings are not available for this user" I spent 11 hours between CHAT and Phone calls with Customer service. They had me factory reset twice, reset network settings, power on with and without data/wifi/roaming and or airplane mode on numerous times . They said they were updating my APN settings every time and pushing something thru to my phone but none of it worked. I tried to put a non working sim from T Mobile in and then add an apn but every time I would change the MCC it would disappear when I went to save. I don't know what else to try but I am hoping one of you might be able to help !!

Nice one...
Try this.
Install Nova Launcher. Long press an empty area on your home screen. Add Widget, choose Activities. Then go to Settings and select APNs. This will create a shortcut with APNs, open it and normally you will see the + sign to add an APN.
I made this script to edit apns, use adb. You will need root most likely, selinux permissive on some phones. Another route(without root) is "Settings database editor" app. Use adb to allow it extra write permissions as it instructs. Without ui it's necessary to edit databases manualy. Edit the script, it will remove ipv6 from an apn as it is, change "protocol" to what you want changed in apn, for example add "dun" to "APN type" by changing protocol:s:"IP" to type:s:"default, supl, mms, dun" the script will display current apn values for reference.
adb push fxapn.txt /data/local/tmp
adb shell
sh /data/local/tmp/fxapn.txt
Or just factory reset your phone/reset network settings.
Last time I had a phone do that it was locked by the company ( T mobile ) for non payment but the IMEI came up clean. Try someone else's Sim card that you know that works.
