I restored nandroid backup 4.4.2 after been with ViperOne 1.7.1.
And the LTE doesn't work , it's says disconnected..
Tried to wipe and restore again, did this 3 times, doesn't work.
Best to ask in their thread for support

One option to try is relock the bootloader and RUU to stock.

I have multiple nandroid backups that I would like to restore at any given time. Currently, I am trying to restore my CleanRom Standard 4.4 backup. I know I created the backup using an older version of AmonRa (I'm not sure which version). When I try to restore the backup, it error's out saying "oops...something went wrong! Please check the recovery log". Is it because I am not using the same version of AmonRa?
I wiped everything and reflashed the rom before attempting to restore the backup.
I made the backup on another phone and was S-On when it was created. I am currently on a new phone that is S-Off.
Does anyone know how I can restore this backup?
Thanks, and have blessed day!
My first guess would be you can't restore from another phone. The md5 wouldn't match. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Lost data after Beast 4.3 / or to sideloading and dirty-installing the M7 rom. Flashing different roms/radios made no difference.

Just a heads up to anyone that's on the Verizon version having extreme data loss. If you messed with your apn it could have screwed something up were you might need to run the RUU to fix. It happened to me and micromod. So if that has happened and have tried to get data back and nothing has worked you will need to
1. Nandroid then install the pre ota hboot
2. Relock
3. Backup internal memory then Run RUU
4. After RUU finishes do a factory reset.
5. Reboot and data should be back.
6. Unlock if desired or just install ENG hboot and install recovery and flash your nandroid and good to go.

Was running Newt's M7, and flashed beast 4.1 fine, wanted to try flashing beast 4.3
After flash it began to boot-loop and ( foolishly ) without a backup I had to use ADB sideload to reflash M7. That worked, but now I have no data, it won't detect the sim card. Tried reflashing the radios+hboot ( yes unlocked and S-off ) to no avail.
Backed up to a stock rom made after S-off but that also doesn't have data ( and keeps yelling "droid" every 10 seconds ).

at this point I would suggest going back and read the flashing your recovery. Then after you do that go back in and try and flash kernel again.seems like all your problems are caused by bad last of the kernel.

Yes, tried reseating, no luck.
Also just tried cube's 'return to stock' zip along with reflashing beast 4.1, still without phone/data

I have spent the whole day flashing and trying to get my data back. I am so happy that LakerStar took the time to write out those steps. After flashing RUU there was still no data, but factory reset afterwards did the trick!

awesome. Please change your OP title to note fix found please.
i accidentally clicked on the Lawmo Lock 1234 in the API menu while trying to sim lock. When i reboot phone and try to use it, it asks me for a password to unlock it. Cant get past this screen, does anyone know the default code? already tried 1234.
Two main problems going on here. 1) This is the Evo 4G LTE forums, and 2) we use Sprint. Therefore, we don't use SIM cards. Not sure if you'll be able to find much help here.

Yes, I remembered that there isn't a forum for it after I thought about it. I also forgot that the Design 4g was released for Sprint. What surprises me is that it still has a sim card slot.
Are you rooted? If you are, you can simply boot into recovery and make a nandroid backup, then a factory reset (from recovery, NOT from bootloader). After that, use Titanium Backup to restore your data that you lost (TB is able to extract data from nandroids, too).
This info might help you in your situation, as well as it might not. I am not familiar with your issue, but any suggestions are helpful at this point.

Not sure if you know, but TB is an android app. It can only be used in android. That's why I said to make a nandroid backup in recovery, wipe data, then reboot into Android. After the initial setup, install TB, and then restore backup from nandroid while booted into Android using TB.
If you use TWRP to restore the backup, the password will be restored as well.

PH44IMG will only be seen/applied via hboot/bootloader, not by recovery/TWRP. so you wiped everything, flashed new ROM and it's STILL asking you for PW?! Is it a screen unlock password, or PW for something else (i.e. provider/data)?
I Dont think I've ever used so many slashes in so few sentences lol.

Yes, you can indeed restore from nandroid backups made in TWRP and CWM. This is a TB Pro feature. It's in the regular dropdown menu.

More information dude.
Anyways, don't restore data when restoring a stock ROM. Use helium for apps, and nandroid for system.
Smack that Thanks button if I helped!
KitKat came in on my OmniROM, running on my Note 2.
Sent from a small country called Singapore.
P.S. Time for school, not much time for XDA
