Phone not recognised after cwm and stuck on boot screen - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Dear friends,
I have this problem: I got a brand new TCL S720 and the Google Play did not work, being a known rom issue. So, before doing anything, I've managed to make a backup of it's original rom with MTK Droid tools whichI supose it did it well. Then I've tried to install a CWM recovery to try a custom rom for it. The CWM recovery seemed to install succesfully but I didn't manage to install the new rom. If I remember well, it stucked on boot logo. Then tried to revert at it's original stock recovery, managed to have the phone back as it was in initial state, but doing more tries, It remained stucked on boot logo. The problem is that my computer doesn't recognise it anymore, when I connect it to USB it tries to install MTP usb driver but even before the driver was installed well, now it refuse to install, like the driver is not good or the proper driver doesn't exist. So the only thing I can do is to boot on stock recovery but even I tried to copy the original rom as update.zip on external SD and to flash the phone using install update from sd card in recovery mode, It doesn't find the external sd card. So I'm stuck here, the computer doesn't detect the phone to try flashing it with SP flash tool or MTK Droid tool, and I also can't flash it from sd card. Have you any idea how to make it work again?
Thanks in advance.

[Q] Acer Z3 (Z130)

My question is. How to flash back original recovery.img
I tried to root this device and install custom recovery. seems to worked but now recovery to factory settings wont work - just reboots.
fastboot seems to work and adb connection is ok.
Phone also has SD card slot.
I have original stock .img files but factory procedure wont work - cannot install MT65xx drivers. device in device manager under windows seems to connect/disconnect every second. (procedure is to connect phone to usb with no battery inserted - appears as MT65xx device then)
Any ideas?
Maybe anyone has a good rooting procedure for this phone.
I have rooted it- have access to system files but cant change permissions or modify files. - so rooting is not done properly.
Might be that the phone is too fresh...

[Q] Bricked my Samsung Galaxy S3

Ugh, totally my fault for not thinking this through.
Had downloaded the Paranoid Android ROM, a newer version from what I had, as I had installed it incorrectly.
So I thought, no worries, I'll just reinstall the ROM.
Booted into recovery mode, did a full wipe and then tried to install the new rom, only I couldn't find it anywhere...
Thinking I'll restart the phone and figure it out from there, but of course it doesn't go past the loading screen.
I can boot into download mode, but on my PC if I boot Odin, it doesn't recognize the phone and I get no yellow colour.
Pretty sure my internal SD card still has one or two custom roms on it, but without booting into recovery mode, I can't do much.
Odin doesn't recognize my phone. I installed the drivers from the samsung website, but it is not reading the phone in download mode.
Now I am unsure if there's another driver I need to install, i.e. a USB driver, seeing as this is a brand new pc, but other than that, I'm stuck.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated!
Download galaxy s3 toolkit from original android development section, install it and agree when asked to install drivers , reboot Pc and cross fingers for your Pc to detect your phone in download mode then just flash stock ROM
Sent from the grey stuff inside my skull
If you have a custom recovery (CWM or TWRP), you can use an OTG cable to connect a USB stick to your phone (which will be discovered by CWM, haven't tried TWRP) and install a new ROM with gapps from it...
Of course if you want to install stock, you have to stick with Odin.
Hope it helps

[Q] i8552 Galaxy Win Restore Problem

I've been trying to root my phone using Odin then my cable got disconnected. Now when I try to start up the phone it starts with CWM-based Recovery v6.0.4.5. I downloaded stock rom for my region and tried to install it from the SD card but it says "Installation Aborted". I tried formatting the SD card but didn't work.
I checked many pages but couldn't find a solution for my problem. I hope you can help me out of this situation.
Need to boot the phone to Download Mode and grab the original firmware from here:
http://live.samsung-updates.com/index.php?device=GT-I8552
and use Odin to load.

I bricked my LG K8 2017 Phone and i can only use TWRP boot

Hi!
I was trying to update my LG phone and a friend of mine gave me a TWRP install guide, i did all the steps without knowing what it would do to my phone.
Since the beginning i could not access the Update menu with Volume+ and power button.
My current state is
I can only access recovery mode and it takes me straight to twrp menu, i can access my phone via pc but only storage. If i don't access the twrp menu i get stucked on the lg logo.
My computer wont recognize my phone for LGFlashup or LGUPdatetool.
I have some kdz files but i dont know how to load them to my phone all the tutorials recommend LGflash or update but my pc wont recognize my phone for those tools.
Is there a way to install a rom for my phone from TWRP and a KDZ file, i haven been able to find a suitable rom for twrp install.
I am new with this stuff if someone can explain me how to solve it step by step or i would very much appreciate it.
If you have a micro SD card just grab another phone that can use a micro SD card and download a rom on it or get a micro SD card to SD card converter and download a rom from your computer. After you download the rom from the computer just do the magic stuff that I forgot how to do and Bam you got a new custom rom on your phone. Try YouTube tutorials on how to install a rom on your phone and it should be all good

Need help with softbrick!

Hello, guys.
Recently, I've tried to root a Cubot Power 4G following a guide I found online. I probably should have been more catious about it, cause now the phone is stuck on a bootloop. I tried to install a custom recovery to try and fix this, but as there was no official twrp for Cubot, I once again downloaded something that was probably shady. Thus, now the phone is stuck on bootloop, won't access recovery mode, is now turned off because battery gave out, but if I try to connect it to the pc, it will start to bootloop again. I cannot access adb, or at the least I don't know a way to, since it keeps bootlooping and I have no way to access a recovery mode(since there's no one, or at the least, if there is, it's faulty). What can I do here?

Re-flash phone's Stock ROM by means od MTK Flash Tool. You have to install the Mediatek VCOM drivers before on your Windows computer, if not done yet.

I did! Or so I think... The moment I connect it to the pc, it starts bootlooping and so the pc cannot actually connect there
Bootloop is a situation where you cannot get into the "normal" Android system. Take note that as soon Android logo is shown on phone's display Android kernel got successfully initialized, ADB & Fastboot are ready.
