I have a nexus s and its showing no boot or img error.
i know how to fix by just flashing cwm through cmd but the thing is, I don't have the nexus s drivers installed. the only way to get it reconized last time before I restored my win7 was having the phone in usb debugging mode. now I cant. anyone know how I can get the phone to show up in device manager? your helpis greatly apreciated. thanks

Why don't you just install the drivers?
When I connect my SGS2 to MacBook Pro, it is not recognized as a USB device, however in CWM when I choose to mount USB it mounts just fine. Also it mounts fine on a Windows XP laptop. I have tried turn on and off USB debugging, doesn't make a different.
Anyone has this problem? Thanks.
The ROM in use is Resurrection Remix v3.0.9 (JB 4.1.1)

Hello,
My SGS2 (GT9100) is recognised by W7 64bit when I USB connect. I can even see it in Odin.
But when I want to use Odin with the SGS2 in download mode Windows does not find the driver and does not recognise the Device.
Any idea to solve that problem please?
(I'm working on a MacBookPro but virtal machine Parallel desctop, it should be he same than on a PC)
Thanks for help.

Hey guys, i have a big problem:
My phone's usb works pretty much perfect, adb and the usb storage are working (HTC One M7).
But when i do "adb reboot-bootloader" the pc just says "the usb device fails to enumerate or something like that.
Everything works except for Fastboot and i dont know why. Has it something to do with Win 8.1?
I never tried it on another machine before.
Try adb reboot bootloader
No -
If that doesn't work look up some threads on windows 8 and 8.1, lots of people have issues but if adb is working then fastboot 'should' as well. Also have you tried to manually boot into bootloader?

Hi Guys,
I can't seem to get the USB to connect to windows 8.1..
I don't have a ROM on the device, just TWRP v2.6.3.0 and looking to put on CM11...
Device Manager has:
GT-P7500
PCI Simple Communications Controller
SM Bus Controller
All with exclamation marks. I've tried installing samsung drivers 1.5.27.0, rebooted, but no luck. PC just is not recognising, or more accurately, letting me use the downloaded drivers for this device.
Trying to use adb, but no luck on three pc's, all using win 8.1 (64bit)..
Any help appreciated.

Try a different USB port or another cable. You never know...

thanks for the suggestions.
Same result with two different cables, and multiple usb ports (front or back).
Also tried another laptop, but same problem. All running win 8.1...

Not sure if I can turn on MTP... I don't have an OS on it yet (just wiped it), I'm using TWRP boot loader... was trying to get in to sidewinder loader to use adb to flash a rom..

if you don't have Rom On your Tab you can't connect your tab to PC
you should flash original (stock) rom with ODIN and then install TWRP and install a custom rom

Thanks. I downloaded P7500XWLP6_P7500 (samsung firmware) and uploaded (downloaded?) to the tablet with odin and it seemed to accept it.
Rebooted the tablet, nothing. I can still go in to twrp, so I'm assuming it's not working correctly either. Should I be flashing with odin using bootloader?
