There are 2 RUU's for the AT&T One. You flash them from a windows EXE file
first one is here >> http://dl3.htc.com/application/RUU_...13_10.38j.1157.04_release_334235_signed_2.exe
( If you want to s-off the phone do it now with rumrunner before the next RUU)
After that one you can flash this
http://www.androidruu.com/getdownlo...09_10.26.1718.01L_release_356565_signed_2.exe
If the second one hangs or gives a htc_fastboot stopped working, flash this first then the RUU
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23329332407580581
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
fastboot reboot

Hi.
Will this RUU.zip also work with my International version ?
I have downloaded the Zips and I extracted the Zip file so I could look at it.
I did notice that in the file build.prop file that it does not make reference to O2 which is my carrier, so I am not sure if this is the correct Stock Zip.
I am wanting to put my stock rom back on and wait for the Stock Update for Jelly Bean 4.2.2.
At the moment I have AOKP 4.2.2 custom Rom on.

RUU error 158

Hello friends I have an AT & T and am trying to flash rom by RUU but I get the message "ERROR [158]: Image error" says I should look for a correct image.
The problem is that I have unlocked bootloader, S-OFF and SuperCid. Should not flash any rom with this?

Thanks !
I will give that a shot if nothing else works.
Yesterday, I extracted firmware.zip file from the AT&T OTA update released on June 5th (thanks to @xangel9626). I confirmed that MID and CID are matching in the android-info.txt. But when I flash it vai twrp, it keeps on failing. It seems custom recovery is not able to open it. I tried adb method and it also failed with error code -99.

Okay so after lots of reboots and lost original stock backup, I was able to update firmware...
Here is what I did:
1. Create backup in twrp
2. Install stock recovery image
(recovery_1.26.502.15_signed.img)
3. fastboot oem lock
After installing stock recovery and relock:
4. place firmware zip file in fastboot directory
(5.12.502.2.firmware.zip [http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2775650&])
5. enable usb debug, disable fastboot, connect phone to pc
6. open cmd to fastboot directory
7. adb reboot bootloader
8. fastboot devices (checks connection – should display your device)
9. fastboot erase cache
10. fastboot oem rebootRUU
11. fastboot flash zip zipfilename.zip (most likely will fail at pre-update…)
12. fastboot flash zip zipfilename.zip (same command again)
13. fastboot reboot-bootloader (should see new firmware version listed)
14. fastboot reboot
Then, unlock again:
a. fastboot erase cache
b. fastboot flash unlocktoken unlock_code.bin
Restore backup:
I. flash twrp 2.7.1.0
II. put backup folder back to sdcard
III. flash backup
Thank you everyone !

no you won't get the OTA updates
next flash the 5.x firmware and Guru reset Rom
5.12.502.2.firmware.zip
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358543602
Then unlock bootloader flash TWRP 2.6.3.3
http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7
fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.3-m7.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Then you can flash this rom

During install choose no to stock recovery and radio
and choose Yes to Root.
Now you have Sense 6 and the latest AT&T OS
I downloaded your file ATT_Sense6_OTAPkg.zip .. Is this what I needed ?
now I have openrecovery-twrp-2.8.4.0-m7.img
Is it necessary to download openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.3-m7.img ?

Problem to return to stock on my HTC U11

Hey, I want to return to stock rom oreo on my htc u11 -because wifi doesnt work after I tried to install unofficial lineage 15.1 from nougat while it was asked to do it from oreo- so I followed this guide : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=72831916&postcount=3
Then I downloaded the RUU needed (and I am sure I have the good one : 1.27.401.12 on my case) on my PC, I started my phone on recovery mode, put the folder renamed on the root.
Then I rebooted my phone on download mode, and... nothing happened while I'm supposed to be asked to flash RUU.
I don't know what I did wrong.
HTC U11 unlocked
S-ON
not rooted
no OS installed
TWRP 3.1.1-2
Thanks

Hi , did you have RUU.exe or RUU.zip ?
Install adb & fastboot minimal latest installer:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
Use fastboot command
adb reboot bootloader
now use this command
fastboot oem rebootruu
next flash stock firmware ruu.zip (use latest version, because when is S-On U can't downgrade) not ruu.exe
fastboot flash ruu.zip
wait for finishing and see what happening .
Good Luck
