IMEI 004999010640000 problem - tried many solutions with no effect.

Hello.
I've tried to restore my original IMEI, since mine is set to 004999010640000, which is a fake. I've used repair application on Android Market and tried to fix it manually, but with no effect. It is still the same IMEI, regardless, what I do. I may be doing something wrong, but I am not sure. I run on ICS 4.0.1 and it is an original ROM. Rooted. Could you possibly help me with this case? I have an Internet connection and I can make calls, but IMEI is still fake. I also have power menu and lock screen working, so it is just matter of corrupted IMEI number, in my humble opinion.
I hope you help me.

Good efs, still imei null null

Hi, after a lot time invested in solving imei problem on my sgs3 i`m thinking of giving up. But before i give up i would like to hear opinion of xda users. Em, as title says i have imei problem which is common on sgs 3, but i think my problem differs from others.
I dont have wrong imei as others... my imei is null / null, serial is not 0000000 like others i have good serial(weired), baseband is unknown, wifi cant be turned, other things works just great...And to mention i have good efs.img which i restored couple of times but still imei null null i would be happy to get some wrong imei but no, whatever i do imei is null/null.
My nand memory is just good i can access every part of memory(efs,,, etc...) but i`m afraid that other hardware fault is arount the corner,,, like chip for proccessing things stored in efs, chip for radio, modem part or... IDK. What do u think it could be ? Hardware fault?

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300 missing IMEI number

I reverted back to the stock rom and unrooted my device but the IMEI thats underneath the battery doesnt match with the one it shows when i dial *#06#, when i dial that the IMEI is 004999010640000/01 and when it was rooted and on a stock rom it showed "null". if anyone knows how to fix this can you please give a detailed walkthrough on what to do.

[Q] Lenovo A660 phone function problem?

Hi All!
I need help from you, because I made a mistake.
The story:
I have 2 Lenovo A660 phone (Phone_A and Phone_B). Both of them were working with full functionality. Once I made a full TWRP backup from Phone_A (NVRAM too) I tried to restore it on the other Phone_B. The restore was successful, but after that I can't use the phone function on the Phone_B: no PIN request, and SIM management item is grey in the Settings menu.
As I think, it is because of the NVRAM restore (IMEI numbers and anything). Yes of course, I don't have a backup from Phone_B before that...
What I tried to repair:
I restored the original stock ROM (A660_S019_1208024) to the Phone_B and I restored the IMEI numbers and SERIAL (what I found behind the battery) with IMEI&SN Writer V1.5.3. (with the stock ROM's ModemDB and APDB)
...After that the problem still present...
Then I flashed the A660_S025_121122 ROM and I restored the IMEI numbers and SERIAL again.
...After that the problem still present...
I checked the IMEI settings with Mobile Uncle and it seems like good.
I know that, it isn't a simple problem, but I think here are the most experienced people to solve hard problems.
I don't know what I have to do? Do you have any idea?:crying::crying::crying:
Thanks in advance!

How to get Serial number from IMEI adress?

Hello!
i have a galaxy s3 and it's now can't make calls or even enable mobile data so i don't have a network. But i know how to solve it but i have the real imei adress and the problem is that i don't have serial number (is not in the white box under the battery beacause i changed the motherboard and i put a new one which conatins a new IMEI adress and a new SN) Note: when i changed the new motherboard everything was working ok but i lost the SN just now
So all the data in the white box under the battery don't interest me cuz it's for the old motherboard.
So to fix that issue i want a methode to find the Serial Number through the IMEI adress. How can i do that? thanks

Sorry to give you the bad news, but there is absolutely NO relation between the SN and the IMEI. ABSOLUTELY NONE. The SN goes up by 1 at a time, but the IMEI, for the TAC, FAC and SNR it depends on the country of manufacture, the year/month of manufacture, and is assigned to each device in particular. SNR, along with the IMEI is random-ish, but the SN is not. SO this is why you can't retrieve the SN from the IMEI.
