Need help with this....
Sorry if I can't give much info, still new to this place.
Anyway, its already rooted (flashback to 4.4.2 version vulnerable to towelroot exploit) and has a custom recovery.
I made a PRF for 4.4.2 and installed it via TWRP. The guide then says to re-enter flashmode and also flash the PRF.
Problem is, I can't seem to get into flashmode.
Hold down volume down button, insert USB (with flashtool ready) and then the LED goes red, not green, then shows the battery charging symbol.
I still have access to the recoveries, btw. But not Android. Boot loop happens.
This could be because your phone isn't powered off properly for some reason. Open the charging flap on your phone. There will be a red button right next to the sim card slot. Use something sharp to push the button down untill it vibrates 3 times. Your phone is now defiantly powered off so try to go into flashmode again. I couldn't go into flashmode after bricking my phone after a flash and doing this fixed it for me.
Don't use that red button, it is not really solid, mine isn't working anymroe
so just hold Volume up and powerbutton, it has the same effect as the red button
Use the red button only, if it does not respond in any way.

You need to power down your phone and then hold Volume Down Button while inserting usb cable! :victory:
(Volume Up for Fastboot mode)
I found the fix. Also, clarification

Really sorry Mikey94, I meant that I held down the volume down button, not the power button. My bad
Anyway, I found the fix on my own. The reinstall of flashmode drivers seemed to fix it. Thanks for the help

Hi there,
I wanted to install a custom ROM (Moonstone V1.1) on my Alcatel OT-990, so I followed the guides mentioned here to root and update my phone to be able to install custom ROMs. Everything went fine, so I proceeded to install the custom ROM. While installing I forgot to flash the custom ROM... and now I am caught in a boot loop.
I followed various guides mentioning all kinds of stuff to unbrick the phone posted here and on some other sites (some site mentioned formatting my SD card, tried that, nothing happened aswell).
I'd really be glad if someone would help me out.
take the battery out for a few seconds, press the down volume, home key and power, when the icon lights come on let go of the power key but continue to hold the volume and home key until the droid icon the let go of both, the plug the usb cable in to the top with the other end connected to computer and click start menu on computer and go to the recovery-clockwork-file that you should have installed, open the zip and run the "install.bat" you should be able to just double click on it , it will open up the "clockworkmod", just go into install from zip and flash the rom.. if you don't have the recovery-clockwork downloaded let me know and i'll get you the site to download it..... hope this helps....

alot of phone are different so if you phone don't respond: plan B - hold volume up and press power, when phone vibrates, let go of power and press home key but don't let go of volume, phone should go into clockworkmod, if not then attach usb cord and follow the above direction from there.... good luck, its hard to brick the 990 without formatting everything and completely wiping all the files from sd and phone... and don't forget to wipe cache and dalvik and battery stats this helps... those can be found under advanced

Having the same problem dont know how to fix it :[
Once you stuck in boot loop, can you flash stock rom via fastboot?
Hi everyone, I need help because I have probably bricked my Xperia Sola. Yesterday I tried to flash ClockWorkMod recovery ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1766892 ). I flashed kernel.elf via fastboot and after flashing I unplugged the phone and I pressed the power button, the phone vibrated and the Sony logo appeared then the phone vibrated again and the blue led turned on and.. nothing else! It doesn't boot and i don't know what to do I noticed that if i press volume up while the blue led is on, the phone goes into recovery mode but I don't know what to do! Can someone help me?
p.s. Sorry for my bad english!

Well, if you clicked the volume up while he was with that blue LED, and opened his recovery, he may still go start the kernel... remove and replace the battery and turn on the phone, maybe it solves.

I can't remove it! The phone has a non-removable battery!
OK, do the following, click the power button and hold it more or less by 10secs and release when you feel three vibrations . It will reboot your phone .
I followed your instruction but the phone didn't vibrate 3 times.. I'm desperate, do you think that if I bring my phone in a Sony support center they will fix it?
He turn on a Red led when you pressing the power + up vol? have to be pressed in the same time.. you can fix it easily here. you dont need to go to a sony support center now. If reset dont work , you can use flashtool to make it stock again.

If you want , flash this rom , its have root and CMW -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1897908 you can use adb to flash , or with flashtool , what is much more easy to use.

Out of curiosity, were you on GingerBread or ICS when you flashed this ? And is your bootloader unlocked ?
Flash a Stock as mentioned before and you should be fine. You can go Either Stock ICS http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1914264
or GB (as in the previous post).
And the Force reboot is Hold Vol Up + Power for around 15 sec. You will initially have one vibration, then three. After which it turns off.
What were you on? ICS or GB?
It's just an incorrect kernel flash. Phone can still be fixed.
I've first hand experience with this >_>
Don't send to Sony. They're useless.
Hold power + vol up for 10 secs. The phone will vibrate once, keep the buttons pressed until the vibration is felt 3 times.
Let go of Power, keep the vol up pressed. Then quickly shove the USB port in.
Flash these kernels via fastboot, depending on which version you were on.
GB: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1897908
ICS: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1922029
EDIT:
Or you can save all the trouble with the following:
Download Flashboot. After the 3 vibes, quickly hold vol down and shove the USB port in. Flash the stock ICS rom (includes kernel) which will fix your problems as well.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1914264
There's a global version in the thread somewhere.

Oh my god! Thank you so much! My phone works again!!! I flashed the ics .ftf file and now my phone is working!!
The thing is my Xperia Go is stuck at bootloop and i cant access anything.. no CWM, no entering fastboot and computer doesnt seem to recognize it at all. It only goes up to SONY logo, stays there a while and then blanks the screen just to do it all over again.
It started when i flashed my phone with new kernel.
Any ideas of what should i do now?
All help will be appreciated im new to this.
Install Flashtool, then go the drivers folder in Flashtool, and install your drivers (Including the Fastboot & Flashmode drivers)
Then, turn off your phone. Select the Stock FTF from Flashtool and click Flash
Then, when it asks you connect the phone, Holding Down the Volume Down Key, connect the usb cable to phone (It should already have been connected to pc before connecting to phone)
Wait 2 seconds and a green light comes on.. Then wait a few minutes and your phone will be back to normal

I have done all that and did it again just to be sure.. atfer green light comes on it changes to red in few sec and my phone shows SONY for 1/4 min and then shuts off while charging. i have tried to enter fastboot mode too but the same thing happens.. correct led colour few secs and then logo and off.
This seems like a hardbrick although flashing a custom kernel shouldnt have caused that issue.. Did you do the cable connecting in the exact order I said ? You might have missed that ,with any luck
Dun worry
Remove the battery if possible
If not
Switch of the phone by pressing volume us plus power key simultaneously for few seconds
Then flash official ftf via flashtool

Is your bootloader unlocked?
Make sure it's turned off by pressing power + volume up until you feel 1 + 3 vibrations before attempting fastboot or flash mode.

Could you connect fastboot/flash mode on the PC you are using now before it happen?
Ok, here it goes...
You know? The same exact thing happened to me, I'll tell you the solution. (yeah, sound like a TV commercial)
Power off the phone by pressing and holding the Power and Volume up buttons, when it vibrates three times release.
Now you have to turn it on in fastboot mode, connect the phone to the computer, press the power and vol up buttons, after two seconds release the power button and you have the blue led, always hold the up button.
Now at this time you need to be fast as ****, because you need to flash the boot.iso kernel in the .zip, if your phone is recognized by flashtool, obviously.
When you have the kernel flashed then reboot the phone and hold the vol up button when the led of many colors blinks, and hell yeah, we are on CWM. At this step, you have to do the same procedure as you did, but be careful this time. If something happens just tell me.
Don't forget to format the system.

Just a fact, there's a lot, but a LOT of threads that are made because of the munjeni's ROM, if you have a doubt, search first, then post.

Read my post dude, connect the USB cable, hold power and vol up buttons and two seconds later release power button and continue holding up.
In that time you should flash the boot.iso, but quick.
which os you are using in your pc ?

You can flash from Windows 8 too, just you have to read this guide. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2447283
But, ok, you flashed it, great.
More specificly, I used to have Win 8.1
Now, for other causes I'm back to Win 8 and from here i can flash perfectly
I'm writing this for someone else who may have the same issue

So I think I bricked my phone ya all. I used the one click root after I unlocked boot loader and everything worked fine until I had to reboot my phone. All of a sudden the nfc has crashed pop up made my phone inoperable. I booted into twrp with the intention to wipe cache. After I did that the phone stopped booting all together.
I tried putting the phone in fast pot mode and the blue led displays but it's not being recognized by the pc. I downloaded flash tool hoping I can flash a stock image back but same issues. If I press volume down the led turns green and for a few seconds flash tool will recognize the phone.
Does anyone have any ideas? Phone now turns on but won't go past the splash screen where Sony logo is displayed.
If flash tool recognizes phone and there is light game is not lost. I would call this semi-brick. Did you flash all? Maybe you just need to try again.

The thing is when I put the phone in fastboot mode it does not vibrate like it used to. Right now the led just turns blue and nothing happens. Flashtool won't even recognize the phone when its in this state. If I disconnect from cable and press the volume down key the led turns green and for a few seconds flashtool will identify the phone but then it stops...
Flashmode is when you use volume down. When flashtool prompts you to connect the phone, only then press and hold volume down button while connecting. The flashing will begin immediately.

Fastboot is volume up. That's just for flashing kernels usually. For flashing ftfs use flashmode which is accessed using volume down. First go to flashtool, click on the flash icon, click on flashmode, select the firmware and click flash. Then wait. When flashtool tells prompts you to connect, only then do so. Also, use the latest flashtool and the latest drivers
