I've been using Galaxy S5 for a while now but today I tried installing Lollipop update but it failed. I've never rooted my phone but when I try installing Lollipop update it says "The operating system on your device has been modified in an unauthorized way. Try downloading software updates using Samsung Kies on your PC, or visit our customer service center". Any way how to fix it and I checked root access from Root Checker it says "Sorry! Root access has not properly installed on this device." I don't know what to do I really want the Lollipop update.

Hi. I have problem with my new phone alcatel c5.
I rooted phone with Framaroot and everything was fine.
Then, i updated phone software via wifi from 01001 to 01002. And then, root now isn't working. Now i still have supersu , but with message "There is no SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it." Also, when i try to root my phone again with Framaroot, i got the message "Failed. Try another exploit if available Error #9)".
What should i do now? Please help!

I am using a Samsung Galaxy S5 G900A. I was unsatisfied with android 5.1.1 so I decided to downgrade. I followed this method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785363
Now my phone says: "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again."
Kies says that the connected device is not supported. However, Odin still detects my device, but keeps failing to load Android KitKat. At this point, I don't care what firmware I'm using as long as I get my S5 back to normal. Please help.
You absolutely can not downgrade that phone. The locked bootloader prevents this. There are no work arounds. You can only use the same build version or newer of the software.
Thanks, I followed part of this method to restore my phone:

I have unrooted my note 3 lite by using Kingroot, after which my wireless updater app stopped working, I then unrooted my device by disabling root configuration in the kingroot app, after that I uninstalled kingroot, then the wireless updater started working, I checked for update and it showed an update of 14.1 MB I downloaded it but while installing it in the recovery mode it shows error, so please tell me what to do and how to update my device using OTA.
As the title ses, my Samsung S5 v6.0.1 can't go incognito mode on Samsung internet browser v5.4.
My phone automatically downloaded the latest android update v6.0.1 while my phone was still rooted. Either way it went great, root was still there and working but the new Internet browser that came with the update detects that I have root and won't go into private tab for my protection. I tried freezing Knox and see if that fixed the problem but still nothing... I also uninstalled root, it still detected I had root. So i decided to download root again using odin so I can use the cloak root app but it still detects my root.
Anyone have an idea on how to fix the problem, pls do tell.
Knox version: 2.6
Model number: SM-G900F
Android version: 6.0.1

PS, tried downloading Samsung internet browser v5.2 apk but something didn't allow it to download.
