My head hurts from trying to understand the above.
Let me see if I can make some sense of it:
You installed Mobile ODIN on your P7500, downloaded the ICS ROM, and tried to install it.
Apparently Mobile ODIN failed and immediately rebooted.
Now the tablet displays something about cache.img during restarts. That means that it's not totally dead, though.
You need to boot it into download mode and use PC ODIN to flash your ROM.
However, while you can get into download mode, your computer doesn't recognize the tablet.
You've tried several USB ports with no change.
You can't boot into recovery since that just gets you Mobile ODIN.
If you boot it into download mode and your PC doesn't recognize the tablet - especially if it doesn't see anything in device manager when you connect it, your cable is bad. Replace it. Then use PC ODIN to flash your ROM.

you need to have the samsung usb drivers installed
download Samsung Kies and install it, it will also install the drivers
Hi all,
I've got quite a strange situation... my Samsung Galaxy S3 from Telstra in Australia (GT-I9305T) hasn't been able to boot into recovery for a while (it stuck on the Samsung Boot screen) and now just booting my phone regularly gets me stuck on the same place. I've also turned off USB Debugging because I seemed to be having problems with charging my phone previously and it seemed to fix my problems, placebo or not.
I want to try and re-flash firmware via Odin but I can't figure out if I can turn on USB Debugging while my phone is off (perhaps via terminal/console commands?). If anyone's got any ideas on how to un-brick my phone you would be an absolute god-send. Thanks!
Can you put it in Download mode (Menu+Down Vol+Power) and just use Odin for flashing the new ROM? That would be the same as when phones are first flashed/rooted etc. I don't recall turning on USB debug until later when I was using TitaniumBU...
USB debug is only used in android, not in recovery or download mode. So reboot in download mode and use Odin.
Hi,
As i wasnt actually aware of what i was doing, i accidently flashed a zip file using the stock recovery on my galaxy mini and yeah, now its bricked. After a lot of googling and reading forums, I assume that the phone can be fixed using odin. So, I have downloaded odin and put the phone on download mode, but when i connect the phone to the pc, there is no response whatsoever from the PC. But the phone is charging when connected. The phone can be booted into recovery mode, download mode and emergency download mode. I tried many USB cables, all the usb ports and 2 different PCs. Still no luck. I feel something is wrong with the usb port of the phone. It does look a little distorted as well. So basically, i cannot use odin and was wondering if there is anyway to fix the phone without using odin.................
Thanks is advance.........Please help......

You need Samsung USB drivers. Do you have them installed in PC?
If not then Google them, download install and Odin will recognize the phone.

Hello!
I am new here. but I have been a follower for a while. So I am in need of some advice. I am trying to help a teacher out with her tablet. It seems to be stuck in a boot loop. Completely stock(Never Rooted) by what I was told. I am not even certain debugging was turned on. So here it is:
1. It boots up to the Logo Screen and stops.
a. Windows sounds when plugged in Via Usb Port. I tried all different ports and cords.
b. When it is in this mode it shows up as an unspecified device for windows.
c. Odin shows up as blue when on logo screen.
2. I can get to the download mode, but it doesn't turn yellow in Odin and I can't get any more dialogue past the initial download screen.
a. Windows sounds when plugged in Via Usb Port. I tried all different ports and cords.
b. The device does not show up as connected to windows when in download mode.
c. Device shows up as blue in Odin on download mode.
3. Samsung USB drivers up-to-date
4. ABD up-to-date
5. Android Studio & JDK up-to-date
Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go from here? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Bricked

No. I am unable to get into recovery mode. No dialogue will pop up past the download screen. I was reading some other posts and some people suggested unplugging the internal connections from the battery and internal storage and so on and then plugging it back in.
I have a bricked Galaxy S6 Edge. Here's the scenario:
- completely unresponsive when unplugged
- boot loop when plugged in
- cannot enter recovery mode
- can enter download mode when plugged in, but the biggest problem of all...
- my computer (and Odin) doesn't see it at all
Odin recognizes my old Galaxy S4 just fine, using the same computer, same USB cable, same USB port, etc., so we can rule out a problem with any of those.
Is there anything that can be done?
When you get into download mode, if you unplug the phone then plug it back in, does it still do nothing?

If I put it into download mode while it's plugged in, and then unplug it, it stays in download mode. But it will not enter download mode when it's already unplugged.
The computer doesn't see it whether I put it into download mode before or after I connect it to the computer.
Damn...
