Features of lollipop - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 5

What are the new features of lollipop? I haven't found any new features.
Moderator: don't lock thread and incorrectly state that this has been discussed on a thread that talks about installing lollipop on a rooted gs5.

I googled "What is the difference between Lollipop and Kitkat" and got quite a lot of good pages of comparisons. Otherwise the Lollipop discussion is here
And please do not tell the moderators how to do their job. I am not stating that your answer is there, BUT I am stating that you should discuss it there.

Your Favorite ROM?

Did a bit of a search, couldn't find anything like this for the Samsung Galaxy S3... question is simple - what is your favourite ROM for the Galaxy S3, and why?
Until some of the recent Jelly Bean ROMs from Samsung have leaked, my favourite has been Cyanogenmod 10 nightlies. As much as I love the Google Experience with AOSP, I can't deny that Samsung have done a freaking good job on their Jelly Bean ROMs. I'm currently using the latest Omega v22 ROM and it's amazing. Some of the features in it are really breathtaking, and they have really make a good effort to make it easy to use for the end user, which doesn't help me, but it's a step in the right direction.
So what is your favorite ROM right now and why?
This kind of thread is not allowed on xda.
Best ROM is an personal thing.

Sorry about that, didn't realise that it's against forum rules? Care to link where it says that? I've seen them in different device threads...

Look through the forum and see all the locked best ROM threads.
They bring out fanboys and can end up as flame wars.
I don't know where it says it in the rules, I just know that they aren't allowed here.

Battery friendly rom (cyanogenmod?)

Currently, I have Cyanogenmod 10.1 (10.1-20130226-NIGHTLY-i9100) rom installed in my phone. I would like to know is there any way to improve cyanogenmod in my phone in order to make it more battery friendly? If not, than maybe you can recommend some other rom, which would be 4.2 and more battery friendly?
Thanks.

Sorry, but I don't agree with the fact that you can't ask for other people to share their opinion on what is greatest rom for specific problem solving. I would love to install all available to roms on my phone and test them by myself, yet I have tons job and no time, that is the reason why I ask for xda-developers users to share their experience. Is it really that much to ask?
Look, everyone's idea of a 'best' ROM is different, and on a website like xda there will be many different views. I don't set these rules for no best ROM threads, that comes from the moderators. I just do my bit to prevent the lazy people like yourself from clogging up the forum and being spoonfed.

You have no right to call me lazy.
Anyway, I will be a bigger man and step out of this. Clearly, some people here have absolutely nothing better to do then to watch if someone "spammed" forum with thread in which a question about roms is being asked...
On a more productive note, try one of the updated 4.2.2's and play with various power and connection settings to see how you can get the power to last.

Thread closed as its a best ROM thread.

[Q] What is Pie?

I've seen in several ROM threads for various ROMs the mention of Pie, and I have flashed ROMs and custom recoveries, and I recently got the SGS4 so I thought I'd post it here. What is Pie, and what's the purpose of modifying it? Thanks.

If it's the same Pie I'm thinking of (I don't own a GS4) then it's an app/launcher that allows you to touch a point on the side of your screen and a "pie" looking app launcher (think Sidebar) pops up. Google LMT Launcher, that's the Pie I'm thinking of. But of course, I could be way off.

Sorry, now for a serious answer.
Pie is a feature of custom roms such as aokp and cyanogenmod. It is an onscreen button style feature. (Google for more Info)
A similar feature can be found in the app LMT (search xda)
Shortest path to understanding....Google image search android pie!

Sorry Kenny. I mistakenly thought the message had told me that because my post count was so low, I was only able to post in the General forum. I will do better.

It is in process. See the Stock, rooted OC1 thread in Android Development forum here. Look around a little and it's amazing what you can find.

I seem to be getting no help around here (debloating questions)

If anyone is interested and able to help if you could please reply to this topic that would be great. I've had many questions over time that all get over looked, despite no Google-able straight answers to be found.
Thanks. Im on a galaxy s5 neo

I'm not a new member though... Have asked for help on the forum specific for my device to no avail. I then decided to ask in this more generalized area hoping someone would be willing to help.
The questions I have are actually not newbie questions they're pretty complex I would say.

Bloat ware on Samsung devices are more or less the same, you can look at any of the several lists for the s5 that are available all over the place including right here on xda. Pretty simple, especially since you claim you're not a noob!
