It is in process. See the Stock, rooted OC1 thread in Android Development forum here. Look around a little and it's amazing what you can find.

Hi guys,
Firstly, let me offer my sincere thanks for the info. I have finally had the balls to root my S3 LTE to Liquid Smooth and it's amazing!
The ONLY thing that is slightly different, is that the main speaker is a lot quieter than the original OS. I've tried a few sound hacks but none seem to work on 4.2.2. Is there an easy and safe hack for this version of Liquid (2.9)?
Thanks.

Firstly, you should search and not create a thread and post like this for these questions.
I think you should try this thread instead.

This is a non-risky method of gaining Samsung Stock Like Sound on any AOSP based Custom Roms like CM, PA , LiquidSmooth etc.
Give it a try and post the feedback on that thread.
Repeat viper4android has no competition worth speaking of though a bit complicated .

Sorry for the thread misplacement. I tried to post on the liquid smooth thread itself but was unable to as I was new. I should have read the section description a little better

Instead of spending time here, head over to the forum specific for your phone model & carrier.
In general, most samsung phones (including your model) can go back to the stock state using odin.
Do you know how to do this?

Again, go to the forum for your phone and all the answers will be laid out for you.
Need ten messages to seek help with viper4android, which is stupid. Thanks for understanding.

You do not need 10 questions to read any existing threads, or (if needed) ask a question in a Q&A forum. Questions do not belong in Development forums which is why the 10 post rule is in place.
I was wondering why we don't have a developer discussion us soon section. There was one for the vzw galaxy s3 and it was good for developers. Thought it could be helpful for this phone.

I'm guessing phone is still new and fresh and developers are waiting for certain things in order to develop.

Well, there's the Verizon G3 Android Development section:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-lg-g3/development
and the Verizon G3 Original Android Development section:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-lg-g3/orig-development
...with a combined total of 5 threads. Do we need another section?
most developers use hangouts now, a thread just for developers isn't responsive enough

What are the new features of lollipop? I haven't found any new features.
Moderator: don't lock thread and incorrectly state that this has been discussed on a thread that talks about installing lollipop on a rooted gs5.

I googled "What is the difference between Lollipop and Kitkat" and got quite a lot of good pages of comparisons. Otherwise the Lollipop discussion is here
And please do not tell the moderators how to do their job. I am not stating that your answer is there, BUT I am stating that you should discuss it there.
If anyone is interested and able to help if you could please reply to this topic that would be great. I've had many questions over time that all get over looked, despite no Google-able straight answers to be found.
Thanks. Im on a galaxy s5 neo

I'm not a new member though... Have asked for help on the forum specific for my device to no avail. I then decided to ask in this more generalized area hoping someone would be willing to help.
The questions I have are actually not newbie questions they're pretty complex I would say.

Bloat ware on Samsung devices are more or less the same, you can look at any of the several lists for the s5 that are available all over the place including right here on xda. Pretty simple, especially since you claim you're not a noob!
