Have you ever tried changing your resolution from high to low on PC ?
Things become bigger too, same thing is happening with your phone.
Also why do you want to lower the resolution?
How can I change the resolution using a PC? ADB?
I read that moto maxx have a small power save when down the resolution of QHD to FHD... I've tried to down to HD, and changed the DPI to look smaller...
But when i try to set stock resolution and DPI, some things becomes bigger...
The "Resolution Changer" show me the resolution, and show it right like on SS!

The thing I said about PC was just example, nothing to do with changing resolution of Z2.
Well, I guess if you want to lower down the power consumption then turn on Stamina Mode, lower down the brightness of the screen. That will add you extra juice
Kkkk ok ok!
I,ve tried a extra extra Juice!
Thx!

Okay guys. I have this huge gap on my home screen that needs filled, preferably with a widget of some sort. Anything goes (I've used elixir etc). Just trying to fill it up. Here's what I've got

C'mon guys this is so irritating lol
System Tuner Pro or one of those other Overclocking/monitoring apps?
maybe a music player? Or you could use the power control widget and resize it to fit right there.

Click to collapse
I've had setcpu there before but when you touch the widget it opens the program and I somehow overclocked my phone high enough to cause it to reboot so it got stuck in a circle. Learned my lesson from that one. Any other ideas?
Blizzard Mobile Authenticator?

Get a new home screen, LOL
Throw a music, or system tuner widget in there and good to go, or make more space,
Shot from my sharp shooter in 3d
check out an app called "screen off and lock"... should be one of those spaces
then throw a 1x1 system tuner pro shortcut right there for the CPU settings or something.
Hi is it just me or do you all have the same on your home screen and app menu
First one is the home screen menu when you click on the apps it dose it's effects and looks like it should fade up and out

But it's still there not much of a problem but it dose get a bit annoying as them buttons can't be used so what's the point of keeping them there when the space could be put to a better use like more spacing between apps or for another row of apps?
The second one is the little tabs at the bottom to show what screen you are on one seams to be selected all the time is this due to the screen resolution?

Don't have this issue but you could try another launcher or try going to the ICS or JB touchwiz mods and try another Launcher size e.g. 4 x 5 icons or 5 x 5 icons
Cheers I installed go launcher and it solved both problems I forgot to mention it's on stock ics.
Would like to here from any one else with a stock ics s3 if they have similar issues?

That's not right, you should flash a different stock firmware, you might as well be on the latest firmware anyway.

Cheers for the reply. I will give it a go tomorrow as the launcher is draining my battery a bit more than I would like.

I want to point out that none of the above tweak worked.
They only reduce the minimum auto-brightness value to 0, but can't bypass the firmware/hardware limitation.
The only way I know is to install an app called "screen filter", which used a tricky way to dim your screen.
But AFAIK this fix would greatly decrease the contrast of your screen, thus cannot watch video well inside dark room(you have to disable it).
Still searching a way for solving this issue, and I know that Apple's IPS screen have a SLIGHTLY BETTER low-light settings of their phone. I once compared them directly.
Dunno why AMOLED can't do it, maybe it has something to do with those black dots.

Hey there, the app used to allow us to use pictures in our native resolution. Now I have to crop the images, I can't use 768x1280 images
Sent from my RM-821_eu_euro2_206 using Tapatalk
It is unfortunately not possible to read out the resolution of the device.
This is why the pictures always on the percentage measure of 1920 X 1080 cut.
As a percentage, that is why in order to save memory on your phone.
In other words, your image is cropped in the resolution of 1280 X 720.
I first thought that let the user set the resolution manually.
But unfortunately most of it would be over foerdert.
Thank you very much!
Too bad, got to find another app for my needs then. My lockscreen images are fit to 768x1280, the way your app works the images get cut off on the top and bottom, cutting off texts and icons. Also, the images start to look pixelated because the 720x1280 images are stretched to 768x1280.

[Q] Some click actions "disappeared" after I changed the global density Value
Hello Community,
I made a home screen just with Zooper and Tasker.
Yesterday I changed the density to get everything smaller. Afterwards I changed the density back to original for my Launcher and for Zooper (With AppSettings).
Original Density: 320
Changed to: 270
Now I have the Problem that I can't click many of the created Widgets. I have multiple Text Elemts and Icons which dosnt react when i click them.
Now I tested a bit and found out that if the Text/Icons are much bigger I can click them (i.e. Textsize 40).
So i think i have to change the density for something else, but what? Or maybe the Problem is something else?

With 320 the square is where it should be (complete around >Edit< and >WhatsApp<)
With 270 the square is just the half height from >Edit< and something completly different from >WhatsApp< and not even clickable.
So the question is: do i miss something while changing the density? do i have to change the resolution as well or something like that?
