Can I check if anyone has installed the CM12 using CWM recovery from CM11? Can share your experience?

Actually I wanted to ask how does the clockwork recovery mod work. When we try to install some ROM's using the stock recovery, then it fails but using cwm it magically works and installs it. Can anyone actually explain its working????
just guessing. root access and root script supported on the recovery?
Just a quick question about recovery. I had twr installed using goomanager but then installed cwm and now in cwm app it shows I have both installed . Booted into cwm and did a backup and it seemed to work fine just wondering why it shows 2 recoverys in rom manager? Thanks

I have CM 11 right now. When I first installed it, I had Clockwork mod on. I switched it to TWRP, and I just got an update for CM 11 today. I tried installing the update, but now my phone is recovery booting into TWRP every time it boots up.
What can I do?

U can only use cwm to flash cm

I originally followed the CyanogenMOD wiki to root and install cyanogenmod.
I was on CM10.2 then an update to CM11 came out and the update package failed. Something about not being able to install all modules correctly.
I had to flash Cm10.1 stable to get it working again.
Any ideas why CM11 fails?

Imhaving trouble flashing cm11 to my p5113 every time I try I get a (error 7 message) and the I have to read install cm10 and help would've great on this error

Dear All,
I am trying to install CM11 on my Galaxy Ace S5830i device.
I have successfully Rooted the device although facing issue with installing CWM 6.0.1.2 on my phone. When I tried installing the same using "Install Zip from SD card", I got successfully into recovery of 6.0.1.2 but when I go to Advance and boot recovery option, I get same old Standard recovery menu and not getting into Custom recovery.
If I still try to install CM11 using CWM6 recovery I get Error 7.
Can anyone please tell me what mistake I am making? Or i should try any other version of CWM 6?
