Hello,
I have a Samsung Note Tab 8, China version so it does not have Download Mode so I may be able to root it and install a custom ROM neither can upgrade the Android version to a later Android version. As far as I explore, the tablet has a Fast Boot mode where I can send commands via CMD from Windows 8. Tried to flash a ROM using ADB, but CMD says there is no device attached to the laptop. I am very stuck, and the tablet entered in LOOP when you boot it. Also the tablet has a Factory menu but is in Chinese and I do not understand a thing from that menu. As stated, Android version was 4.2.9 and the tablet model GT-N5100 according to About section of the tablet.
Is there any way I can make it work again ?
PS: All this started when I saw that the Android shown that out from 16 GB of storage, I was able to use only 4, and after I installed 4 or 5 applications the OS told me that I do have insufficient storage to install another app.
Regards,
Cosmin

Hi there,
I own a nexus 7 (2012 version) and it's now in a weird condition. And to be honest I must admit that I think it was my fault because of which my nexus 7 is in this state.
So let's come to the problem and let me explain you all what exactly happened.
I was on stock 4.3 and I tried to root it with the rootkit selecting 4.2.2 as my OS even when I was on 4.3.So it did the process but afterwards when I checked with superuser it said the tablet is not rooted so I left it and later I unlocked it's bootloader and installed cwm recovery touch. Then I wanted to get tablet mod on my nexus 7 so I followed guide here-> ( can't post the link, just search on google for nexus 7 tablet mod,it's on wonderhowto(dot)com named Warning: Your Nexus 7 Tablet Is Not Actually a "Tablet" (But Here's How You Make It One) ) but I never noticed that it was for android 4.2.2 while I was on 4.3,I tried to flash the zip and it said all done! I rebooted my nexus 7 and it was stuck on "x" logo,I wiped data and cache but came with no success, later I went into advanced setting through cwm touch and did some mounts/unmounts (I don't remember which one) then I formatted /data /cache and everything else. Now the device is stuck on google logo and one more problem is that none of my PCs/Laptops recognize it,it simply shows MTP USB DEVICE device driver installation failed,I tried to install drivers manually and now my nexus 7 is listed as android device in device manager but I still can't access it's SD card so that I can copy a ROM.I tried different computers and laptops but no success.
So I wanted your help and if someone could install cwm touch on their nexus 7 and tell me what is mounted and what isn't,I would appreciate it.
Please give me some solution so that at least I could relock my bootloader and claim my warranty. And if anyone knows how can I get my device recognized again on my laptop/Pc,kindly let me know.
Regards-
Suyogya
Use fastboot to install new recovery, then boot to recovery and use adb sideload to install ROM & gapps

Could anyone still running 4.3 on Nexus 10 who has installed this app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.virginmedia.tvanywhere
please extract the apk and share it on here.
I have managed to sideload it and it works on 4.4 but I can only seem to get hold of phone version online which is stuck in portrait mode. The page says the version varies with device so there must be a tablet version which should install on a compatible nexus 10. If you have a different compatible 10 inch tablet that would probably get the right version too.
Thanks in advance.
Hello I followed a guide step by step about how to install the xposed alpha 3 on my android device with Android 5.0.2 and it broke my device, it always says that the device is running out of space while having over 10gb of internal storage, it doesn't let me install anything from Google Play and even downloaded from browser.
Also the phone, ZTE Blade 6 Ultra" (Vodafone Smart Ultra 6) isn't being detected by the PC even after have installed the ADB Drivers from the official page, only MTP works but it's useless, when I enable Debug Mode PC doesn't detects the device.
I bought the phone yesterday and now is broken as hell, I need fix the "running out of space" issue soon.
-Android version 5.0.2 (Stock ROM)
-Device Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 - ZTE Blade 6 Ultra
-It was rooted before, but now I can't root it because PC doesn't recognize it and can't install Kingroot due the "running out of space" error.
-Already tried wipe data and cache, didn't worked.

Assuming you have a custom recovery, since you were able to install Xposed on 5.0+...grab the appropriate uninstaller zip from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811 and flash through recovery. Should remove the Xposed stuff and get you back on the right track. Not sure how anything to do with Xposed affected the driver situation though, but should help with the downloading issue. I would try the newer version of Xposed to see if that doesn't get everything working right, though always recommended to make a backup before changing important system files, like with Xposed, for this exact reason.
I don't have custom recovery or anything, it has stock ROM. With custom recovery do you mean that I need a modified ROM? I will appreciate if you or someone can help me, a f**** video guide told that a custom recovery was not needed....
The video guide was this one (in spanish, you can understand what I did just by seeing the video despite being in Spanish, Link2SD step was not necessary in my case): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67xWjzQl4jg
If I restore the system thanks by XDA Help I will NEVER try install xposed or anything. No more...
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: I can't expect help from ZTE to get ROMs or anything... that's their answer:
"Dear Valued ZTE Customer,
Thanks for contacting ZTE.
For this issues please contact the local dealer where you purchased the device or network operator to consult.
Should there be further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Best Regards,,"
Hi!
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 that appears to be rooted with Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP). There is no software on the phone. I'm trying to get it to run Windows 8 or 10 through an emulator on the Android OS. Doe anyone know how I can go about doing this? I've tried using Odin3, but it keeps failing. The IMEI has been removed, so there's no carrier info. If there's an easier way to get Windows 8 or 10 onto this phone without going through an emulator on Android, please help.
Thanks!

There is no possibility to get Windows on an Android Device, the only two options you have to get the Device working again is 1. A Custom ROM like LineageOS or 2. You flash the latest Stock ROM via Odin
Hello my dear fellow community of XDA
I’m asking you for help, I found myself in a tough situation because I damaged system in tablet Nexus 9. Bootloader was already unlocked in my device when I bought it. I assume that the system was original. I didn’t notice any modifications. I damaged this system by uploading a file in a fastboot mode connected by ADB. This file is for rooting. I used this guide on the YouTube:
After doing everything step by step in this guide and switching my device on there was a sign of launching - vibration. The next thing I saw was white Google logo and after that the animation of loading appeared. It was loading without any success.
Before uploading the root file I also tried to upload TWRP file via ADB but it didn’t make any difference. After uploading TWRP files system launched properly, there is no new app in the app list and no combination of buttons such as power + volume that launches TWRP. Please tell me if I’m doing something wrong…
I tried to fix this bootloop by cleaning files via Hboot - factory reset but it didn’t change anything. I was searching for guides that would help me solve my problem but I couldn’t find anything useful. Each of them was old. They were from 2014 or 2015.
I would like to have a working tablet with TWRP, root and other unofficial system (you can give me some suggestions, I was thinking about Android 9). I don’t know where to start or what should I do first. Fix bootloop or upload TWRP ? What is correct order ? How to upload TWRP eligibly ? I rooted devices only several times so please excuse me, I am not a professional. I know that guide on YouTube mentioned before was for Android „L” not „N”.
Summary:
> Tablet Nexus 9 OP82100 WiFi version 32GB
> I use PC with Windows 10
> After connecting the tablet to the PC via USB cable in fastboot mode the tablet is visible in ADB console on the list of devices.
I hope that each information I gave you is clear enough. This is my first post on this forum. I hope somebody will find some minutes for reading this post. I’m counting on you. Thank you in advance for any help.
Ok, I honestly didn't read everything, but if you have and can access fastboot, flash TWRP, transfer a ROM to the internal memory, wipe data (not storage) and flash your ROM.
Try getting Wug's Nexus Root Toolkit, it's a graphical UI for adb and fastboot, might be a little friendlier for you.
