Hi there,
I own a nexus 7 (2012 version) and it's now in a weird condition. And to be honest I must admit that I think it was my fault because of which my nexus 7 is in this state.
So let's come to the problem and let me explain you all what exactly happened.
I was on stock 4.3 and I tried to root it with the rootkit selecting 4.2.2 as my OS even when I was on 4.3.So it did the process but afterwards when I checked with superuser it said the tablet is not rooted so I left it and later I unlocked it's bootloader and installed cwm recovery touch. Then I wanted to get tablet mod on my nexus 7 so I followed guide here-> ( can't post the link, just search on google for nexus 7 tablet mod,it's on wonderhowto(dot)com named Warning: Your Nexus 7 Tablet Is Not Actually a "Tablet" (But Here's How You Make It One) ) but I never noticed that it was for android 4.2.2 while I was on 4.3,I tried to flash the zip and it said all done! I rebooted my nexus 7 and it was stuck on "x" logo,I wiped data and cache but came with no success, later I went into advanced setting through cwm touch and did some mounts/unmounts (I don't remember which one) then I formatted /data /cache and everything else. Now the device is stuck on google logo and one more problem is that none of my PCs/Laptops recognize it,it simply shows MTP USB DEVICE device driver installation failed,I tried to install drivers manually and now my nexus 7 is listed as android device in device manager but I still can't access it's SD card so that I can copy a ROM.I tried different computers and laptops but no success.
So I wanted your help and if someone could install cwm touch on their nexus 7 and tell me what is mounted and what isn't,I would appreciate it.
Please give me some solution so that at least I could relock my bootloader and claim my warranty. And if anyone knows how can I get my device recognized again on my laptop/Pc,kindly let me know.
Regards-
Suyogya
Use fastboot to install new recovery, then boot to recovery and use adb sideload to install ROM & gapps

I accidently formatted my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 GT-P7500. It was rooted since before and I entered the boot menu (at start-up) and were trying to find a way to remove the sd card that was on the harddrive, (I found this annoying since I couldn't remove the old owners files from there). I tried the command "format/system" as well as "format/cache" and now I can't start Android anymore. My guess is that I removed Android together with everything else on the harddrive. I basically pressed the self-destruct-button... Well, is there anything I can do to fix this?
I have tried to root it again using this method:[ thedroiddemos.com/2011/08/28/how-to-root-the-samsung-galaxy-tab-10-1-video-walkthrough ] All went well until the last reboot. My tablet couldn't start Android, it ended up stuck at the "Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1"-screen.
Therefore I tried to install Android by using this guide: [ youtube.com/watch?v=qmHWAOgqlDk ] This doesn't work since the tablet doesn't pop up as an external harddrive/device when I plug it into the USB. However, the computer does recognize that something is there (it calls it an MTB-device) and it installs drivers automatically. I've also installed Samsung's USB drivers [ Sprint_L710_GSIII_Samsung_USB_Driver_v1_4_6_0 ].
I had CWM 5 from the start and after the attempt to "re-root" it changed to CWM 4. I had Android version 4 before things went wrong.
I have spent numerous hours on this self inflicted problem already. I hope that someone here is brighter than me and can help me out!

Hello,
I have a Samsung Note Tab 8, China version so it does not have Download Mode so I may be able to root it and install a custom ROM neither can upgrade the Android version to a later Android version. As far as I explore, the tablet has a Fast Boot mode where I can send commands via CMD from Windows 8. Tried to flash a ROM using ADB, but CMD says there is no device attached to the laptop. I am very stuck, and the tablet entered in LOOP when you boot it. Also the tablet has a Factory menu but is in Chinese and I do not understand a thing from that menu. As stated, Android version was 4.2.9 and the tablet model GT-N5100 according to About section of the tablet.
Is there any way I can make it work again ?
PS: All this started when I saw that the Android shown that out from 16 GB of storage, I was able to use only 4, and after I installed 4 or 5 applications the OS told me that I do have insufficient storage to install another app.

Hello,
I got the Z3tc SPG611 on lollipop firwmare .200
No matter what I tried I keep on getting bootloop
I have followed instructions: developer option, unknown source, install driver for flashtool successfully on win10...
I flashed the old firmware without any exception, and then the D6603 exploit system only.
When I try to restart the tablet it keeps on bootlooping at the blue animation thing.
the only thing i am not confident about is the MTP mode, i can't find the option to turn it off (not in storage like on nexus devices).
any help would be appreciated. thanks
not many people using xperia devices eh? i shoulda got the TAB S2
Hello,
I wanted to give my Friend an old Samsung Galaxy S+ for his birthday.
Because he is a big Cyanogenmod fan, I wanted to install it first (did it already with my S4 mini a few times, so i'm not a newbie).
1. I've installed TWRP Recovery
2. Thats it. It installed mostly correct, but the phone won't boot anymore in the normal OS. It always boots in TWRP Recovery.
I've read, that thats a common problem for TWRP Recovery on this device (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24831012&postcount=1330).
So here is my Problem:
The phone doesn't get detected by my Windows 10 PC. Some sort of driver problems...
So I can't install AriesVE and the new Bootloader (see link above), because Odin doesn't detect the phone and Windows 10 says if connected "The device wasn't detected correctly" (if translated right, sorry, i'm german).
Could someone please help me? My Friends birthday is at 28.11, the device should work properly there...
Hello my dear fellow community of XDA
I’m asking you for help, I found myself in a tough situation because I damaged system in tablet Nexus 9. Bootloader was already unlocked in my device when I bought it. I assume that the system was original. I didn’t notice any modifications. I damaged this system by uploading a file in a fastboot mode connected by ADB. This file is for rooting. I used this guide on the YouTube:
After doing everything step by step in this guide and switching my device on there was a sign of launching - vibration. The next thing I saw was white Google logo and after that the animation of loading appeared. It was loading without any success.
Before uploading the root file I also tried to upload TWRP file via ADB but it didn’t make any difference. After uploading TWRP files system launched properly, there is no new app in the app list and no combination of buttons such as power + volume that launches TWRP. Please tell me if I’m doing something wrong…
I tried to fix this bootloop by cleaning files via Hboot - factory reset but it didn’t change anything. I was searching for guides that would help me solve my problem but I couldn’t find anything useful. Each of them was old. They were from 2014 or 2015.
I would like to have a working tablet with TWRP, root and other unofficial system (you can give me some suggestions, I was thinking about Android 9). I don’t know where to start or what should I do first. Fix bootloop or upload TWRP ? What is correct order ? How to upload TWRP eligibly ? I rooted devices only several times so please excuse me, I am not a professional. I know that guide on YouTube mentioned before was for Android „L” not „N”.
Summary:
> Tablet Nexus 9 OP82100 WiFi version 32GB
> I use PC with Windows 10
> After connecting the tablet to the PC via USB cable in fastboot mode the tablet is visible in ADB console on the list of devices.
I hope that each information I gave you is clear enough. This is my first post on this forum. I hope somebody will find some minutes for reading this post. I’m counting on you. Thank you in advance for any help.
Ok, I honestly didn't read everything, but if you have and can access fastboot, flash TWRP, transfer a ROM to the internal memory, wipe data (not storage) and flash your ROM.
Try getting Wug's Nexus Root Toolkit, it's a graphical UI for adb and fastboot, might be a little friendlier for you.
