Just recently picked up a LG L2 bit was stuck in fast boot mode. Was able to get it into download more and load stock firmware, but of course loaded the wrong one. I loaded the one for D803 but need D801 T-Mobile USA. I have phone rooted and have twrp installed what's the best way to get correct firmware installed? Can I just put on a custom room and have it work on T-Mobile USA.

I'm having issues with my LG G3 D855! It was originally locked to Optus in Australia, but I have recently wanted to root it. To do this I found I had to downgrade to Android 4.4, which I did successfully using the LG Flash Tool. It worked well, but it messed up at the same time. I actually flashed the European version of 4.4 over instead of an Optus version. As someone with little experience in the field, the European/International version seemed the right one since there was no Australian versions on the site. LG wouldn't replace the firmware unless I coughed up $350, seeing as I voided the warranty. After doing further digging online I found a Telstra version of the LG G3 firmware but the phone repair shop said that flashing a Telstra version over would lock it to telstra and that I would require a Telstra sim to use the phone! At the moment my phone is functioning okay, I'm able to text, call and mobile data and wifi both work. The issue is the missing Australian apps and the many European ones that aren't mine. Also out of curiosity, has the European G3 received 5.0 yet? It didn't show up in the software updater for me. Looking for any advice I can get with this... If you have any further questions about the functionality I will reply as soon as I can.

Hi, I bought an ATT Unlocked D800 LG G2. I am using it on the MetroPCS network and all features work. I have 4G LTE working well. I dont want the ATT Firmware on it. Is there a way I can install the MetroPCS Firmware on it? or Tmobile Firmware? I want to do this so I ca get the WiFi calling feature and other MetroPCS apps that are not on the ATT Firmware.
I have the LG flash tool installed but when I try to flash my G2 D800 with the Tmobile D801 Firmware it gives me an error. Ive been reading everywhere but cant find an answer. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry to ask but, how did you manage to get 4G LTE from Metro on your D800? I am about to purchase an unlocked secondhand one but I want to make sure I will get 4G speeds with my current plan ($40 Most Affordable).
Hey guys I bought this Verizon G3 for a friend he wants to give it to his family in Europe.
I downgraded to 23C so far and want to install TWRP etc. On T-Mobile G3 it's much easier as just rooting and using TWRP manager and flashing whatever I want.
Anyways after I flash TWRP I can use any rom I want ? or the rom has to be specific for bootloader for example? on T-Mobile G3 I could flash pretty much any rom but one stock where I needed to flash modem+bootloader,then it worked fine.
Also if it safe to unlock the LTE bands? since the phone would be used in Europe that would be very nice to have European LTE bands.

I remember years ago when i got my G3 that there was auto rec in the playstore to flash recovery.I was a tester.Any chance for a one click app like that?Once again im on a 3 year old G5 with no development so im guessing no.I just cant believe this phone is so old with no root or recovery for Canadian LG G5 H831.Firmware is latest Version 20C

A guy i know at work has this model successfully rooted.(i saw with my own eyes).But the problem is he got layed off and i cant contact him.He also said that the tmobile version is identical to canadian version as far as specs and hardware.And it makes sence to me because i own a samsung note 4 canadian version and can flash any T-Mobile rom.Im wondering if he rooted using T-Mobile stuff.Any thoughts on this will be welcome
By the way i am on N 20c version using telus sim and factory unlocked.pretty sure he had exact same
Could be possible but there not risks? But i wanna try this because i want to get root on my LG G5 H831 but i don't know if the risk is big
