Dearest people of the planet,
I am learning a new language (Russian) and therefore try to read russian websites/RSS feeds etc. as often as possible.
My question:
Is there any possibility to translate text or single words by simply long-pressing/highlighting the word in an app?
What I have in mind, is a long-press on a (Russian) word and a bubble showing up with the option "translate".
So I don't have to highlight & copy the word, open a translator app and then paste and translate the word in the translator app, which is really inconvenient.
Translation from Russian -> German would be optimal, however Russian -> English will do it.
I am mostly using Chrome, Pocket and Feedly.
Thanks for your advice and please excuse any grammar mistakes, since English is not my native language.

Thread moved, please post in proper forum & thread cleaned
I'm actually curious about the same thing - I'd like to keep the English interface and be able to use Polish keyboard. AFAIK MoreLocale2 doesn't solve the problem.
Hello,
this is my Football (Soccer) live ticker Application.
It includes (almost) all countries and leagues. But althrought the application is multilingual (english, german, frensh and luxembourgish) the feeds are only availbale in german because I load them from an german site (kicker.de). I think it is nevertheless possible for eveneryone to understand most of it (the score is the same in every language).
If you find bugs, have suggerations or want to translate the application in an other language, please don't hestiate to contact me.
Here is the link, hope you like it. (Please use the buildin Updater after download, because I won't update the CAB everytime I change a small thing)
Have fun
Hello all
I am looking for a dictionary to translate textbI read, but I need one that for example when reading text I can click on the word and it will translate it. I found several dictionaries but non of them can hook to the os and become a built in translator.
Thanks
Hi all,
Is it possible to select multiple locales in Android, and choose priorities for them?
For example, my native language is Ukrainian, I'm fluent in Russian and I speak little English. So, if there's Ukrainian localization for an app, I'd like it to be Ukrainian. If not, it may be Russian or, in the worst case, English. How can I do that?
Thank you and sorry for my English
Hello there,
So as I didn't find any threads pertaining to Google Offline Voice to Text issues, I thought 'Great, I'm the one online with this kind of problem, there is probably an easy fix'
Setting: Google Offline Voice to Text, text messaging. Trilingual French English German. OS set up for Canada, English (For software I prefer the English interface for its greater practicality and generally greater usefulness).
Situation: when using Google Voice to create texts, no matter what language is selected, it always reverts to English. I click on the language selection, select French, start talking and hear the voice recognition immediately reverting back to English. If I reselect it again, it sticks, until I stop and restart it and then it's the same aggravation again.
It does not matter what language is selected on the keyboard. It ALWAYS goes back to English, as if selecting another language was an error.
Is there something I can do to work around this aggravation? It's already very poor at recognizing French as it is... English works great, but French is horrible. And I'm a native French Speaker!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have to go now but will be back at the end of the day. Thanks in advance for your help!
