I need your help.
I have updated/upgraded my Z ultra to Android 4.3 via PC Companion.
After the upgrading process finished, it booted and request my password to decrypt
The problem is it reject my password. so, It cannot load the system.
FYI, I always encrypt my phones, and I have no problems with my other phones when upgraded the firmware.
Is there anyway to solve this problem? or if I have to factory reset or reinstall, how to do it? as I understand Z Ultra has no stock recovery.

Ok guys, so I have a Neo L w/unlocked bootloader and JB custom rom. And yesterday after charging, my phone got stuck into black screen when turned on. So I tried to reset it like removing the battery and return it but no luck. So I flashed the stock rom using Flashtool then my phone worked again . So I installed custom rom again. But when I turn off my phone for a minute, and turn it on, my phone again shows a blackscreen!! . Then I flashed the stock rom again then it worked again!!.
So my question is:
Does custom rom doesn't work on my neo l anymore??

My significant other is the one who owns an Xperia Z2 and I just want to help her about what's happening to her phone.
The situation is that updating to Android 6.0 is not a good idea because ever since she updated her Z2, a persistent problem goes to show. Few days after updating to Android M, the phone lags every now and then and eventually ends up on a bootloop. Now on my part, I did a recovery through Sony Companion using a PC and then restored it to it's factory state. I thought we fixed the problem until few weeks passed and it happened again (lags-freeze-bootloop). I did the same process of restoring it every time it enters boot loop but the problem still arise.
I have little knowledge about how Sony Xperia phones work since it mainly relies on Sony Companion because usually Xperia phones have their bootloader locked unlike ASUS' and Samsung's phones.
I can't identify if this is a hardware or software issue because as for my observation, the problem just arise on Android 6.0
What could be the problem of her Z2 and what is the best possible solution to do?

Use flashtool by androxyde to reflash the whole MM FW of your region and carrier. If it doesnt work, flash an older version of FW ( KK or LP ) to see if the problem still there.
Btw, is your phone rooted?

Her Z2 isn't rooted, also there is no access to recovery mode since I can't enter recovery when I pressed the button combination.
Should I restore it with Sony Companion and then enable usb debugging so that I can enter recovery mode? If not, can you give me a heads up on what should I do? Thanks

Head over to flashtool and download an older android FW through it. And then flash it using flashtool.

Got the same problem with the latest stock version of my carrier, which I believe is 6.0. This problem also appears with Existenz ROM v5.1.0 which runs Android 6.0.1. Will try an older version of Android and test if the problem keeps appearing.

Hello.
Please i need your help guys.
My Wife's moto z came with defective bluethoot and was rebooting and freezing, after that i decided to Unlock bootloader and install Lineage rom.
Now Baseband is NOT FOUND and phone Bluethoot reboot phone at boot 3 time before it sucessfully boots and when i try to open settings i got some crashes due to phone tryingto read bluethoot.
Now phone is useless..

Try to reflash stock ROM, try then to update to the current version.

Background: I recently flashed a nougat stock rom (retbr on reteu device) and it showed "Baseband: Not Found" (or something like that) in the bootloader. When the latest update was installed, there was something written, and wifi/bluetooth is working well in cuetom rom.
Hi All
I recently had my phone screen repaired and it seems that the custom roms did not work with the replacement screen.
I used the s1 flashtool to relock the bootloader and install a stock ultra z rom which was successful.
My issue is now the wifi does not seem to work period.
Is there something I have missed doing to get the wifi working again please
