I want to preface this by saying I got this one off of eBay, so there is no warranty option.
Basically, I've had 5.0.1 for the last month or so since the Gohma ROM developer hasn't updated in a long time. So, I finally decided to update. But, me being a stupid tosser, I flashed a G Watch R Bootloader, Boot, System, and Recovery.
I think it boots up, as it vibrates when it's done booting, but the screen is 100% black all the time. Neither fastboot nor adb get any response from it. Attempts to get into bootloader have been made, but failed.
Is there ANYTHING I can do?

It just got stuck on Device Info something.
I'd ask this questions in that thread then come back here and post your answer.

Alright here goes
So my question is, what options do i have? I can't access any recovery options (Fastboot, android recovery, etc) and my RSD lite wont connect.
Short Story
Every time i try to boot my Atrix (after trying to update CherryPi), I get the Failed to boot 2, Starting RSD mode. Unfortunately, when I plug my phone into a computer RSD doesn't see it. It's like its not even phased.
Long Story
Okay, so I got my atrix not too long ago. Got my phone rooted at proceeded to use gingerblur. Then shortly there after, I attempted to upgrade to the Gingerbread OTA update, which got me stuck in a boot loop. (Now I'm a little confused, I don't think that I have unlocked my phone at all. I don't ever recall "unlocked" being on the boot screen at all). From this point I don't think RSD was working. I spent about a week trying to get it to work. Then I was able to fastboot flash the stock img files for gingerbread to my phone. So now I had a working gingerbread atrix. I sat stock for a little while, figgured out how to root via fastboot (again, no rsd support at this point). After I was rooted I installed CherryPi 0.3 via CWM. It worked great, a couple of days later I went to do the CherryPi 0.X > 0.5 and it flashed with CWM "successfully" got to the AT&T logo on bootup and then crashed and has been giving me the failed to boot 2.
I hope i've given you guys enough info. If any of you super hackers live in San Diego, I'd be more then willing to bring my phone over for you to figure out. So I just really need to know what my options are. If I take it back to AT&T will they likely give me a new one? (I'm good at playing dumb). I traded my phone originally so I don't know what kind of warranty is in place. Can I contact Motorola and get a new handset? Just looking for suggestions.
Thanks guys
Have you tried to reinstall the motorola driver?
Yes, when I first "lost" RSD support and since the current "Failed to boot 2" message.
It has the flash interface when I plug it in, but the motorola software dosent see it, same with RSD. just like nothing is plugged in.
Why not put it into fastboot mode when it reboots and then flash a different file?

It won't boot into any other mode, upon putting the battery in, it shows the dual core logo for about 1.5-2 seconds that pops up the "Failed to boot 2" message and starting RSD mode.
Judging by your first post u mentioned that u never unlocked your boot loader, unless I'm reading this wrong. These ROMS weren't meant to be flashed with the Bootstrapped version of CWM (The one that requires u to be plugged in to AC power) so not sure if that sheds any light on the subject or not. Again, if I read your post wrong, I apologize.

Ya, from what I can tell its Motorola locking me out for using an modified rom. But I think that I should be able to return to a stock firmware using RSD lite or the Motorola software restore from thier site, but neither see my phone connected. This leads me to belive that somewhere in the process the RSD protocol got messed up. Now I really don't know much, just enough to be dangerous. So if theres anyone that can tell me if I'm even looking the right direction.
And if I am right is there anything I could possibly do?

Hey man, I have the same problem with you.. have you some progress for that..
I find some infor from forum that this kind of hard brick can be solved by using the developping cable to reflash the sbk file, this method is pending at the SBK file is unavailable which is not released out by MOtorola.. I find a one of my friend who is working in MOTO (Tianjing, CHINA) to see my device, I hope he can help me to unbrick my phone.. when i have good news, I'll update it.
I apologize in advance if this is the wrong section, but I am a brand new member and can't post in the developers' section if I was supposed to. Also, I need help ASAP
So I rooted my AT&T LG Optimus G with no problem. Then went to unlock the bootloader. I decided to pay the dollar to get the app that does it for you. So I ran it and it said I successfully unlocked my device. Well I went to reboot into fastboot mode and the LG logo flashed on my screen and just went to black. It won't do anything more than that. I can't get into recover, fastboot, or any other screen. That's it. Am I SOL? Did I really mess my device up?
Please help! Thanks in advance!
EDIT: I have no idea what I did but somehow managed to boot into fastboot mode and went to CWM and installed The Base just fine. I have no idea what happened but I am soooooo happy right now.
EDIT 2: Maybe I spoke too soon. I started running "The Base" and went it prompted me saying it's gonna restart my device, it did and the screen is black again (The same black that appeared after my LG logo from before)
EDIT 3: So I decided to run it again and this time, I picked the other kernel. It booted up fine this time. All is well.
If you run into anymore problems, there is a program available in this irc channel. It is used to restore a bricked phone.

Hi there,
New to the forum here... so I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong section.
Anyways, I'm brand new to rooting and I think I messed up my device bad.
So I was trying to install cm-11-20141008-SNAPSHOT-M11-m8 to my HTC One M8.
Yes, I also installed/flashed whatever the term is for it too. They where both successful installs.
I went threw the setup process for CyanogenMod, and noticed my Sim Card wasn't being read.
I panicked, (lol I'm such a nooby) and I tried to reset my phone from my previous backup.
However, it apparently FAILED, and I was foolish enough to hit "reboot" anyways. A messaged soon after
popped up saying "your phone is not rooted... root it?" when before it was already rooted. My phone then
restarted and now is in this ENDLESS loading screen. Here is an image I found off Google (Sadly I can't take a screenshot of my phone...lol)
but this is what screen it is stuck on. Also, I can NOT get into safe boot. I've tried. No dice. I am starting to worry now. =/ Please let me know if there is
ANY fix to this or if I just permanently broke my phone... I should of just stayed away from rooting, but CyanogenMod looked so cool and I obviously failed at installing it. =/

Boot into your bootloader by powering off and then holding the power and volume down. Then select "fastboot" and run an RUU.

Thanks for your reply!
However, I already tried that method before, but luckily...
I tried the power button+volume button up and it reset it and I was able to load it
back into fast boot!
Hello all, got a bit of a strange issue here. So I was using the 30b release from runningnak3d, https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-lg-v10/development/h901-t-mobile-nougat-v30b-twrp-t3639203
I was selling my v10, so I did a reset, skipped or hit next to everything, and verified that all was working. I sold the phone and a couple days after the buyer got it, he told me it was bootlooping. I asked what he did and of course the first time he said nothing, just turned it on. After more conversation, he said when he got it it booted and after a while told him an upgrade was available. He said he accepted the upgrade, and afterwards got the bootloop.
I got the phone back today to try to fix it and give it back to him. Here's what I have found. Definitely bootlooping, stops at T-Mobile logo and reboots. It does still have the unlocked bootloader, still shows the warning right at boot. TWRP is gone! I booted to recovery, answered Yes to those 2 questions, and it did a reset instead of loading TWRP.
I really have no idea what he did, whether is was an OTA update or maybe he tried to load something on his own.
So, is there any hope of getting this thing going again? So far I was able to boot it into download mode, but it won't respond to any fastboot commands. My computer detects it, but in computer management it says LGE USB modem or something like that. When I try to regular boot, the computer does detect the phone, but it doesn't get far enough along to issue ADB commands. I'm thinking it's a paperweight at this point, so I'm game to try whatever.
Need help, not sure what i did but i was initially trying to root my phone to recover deleted texts from it. I followed all steps from the unlockr site on how to root the moto E . Got as far as the SuperSU.zip file and the moto e cwm recovery then hit a brick wall...nothing happened. undid all the steps i could and tried using TWRP instead. This also did nothing so i attempted to refresh the phone via factory reset and now whenever i try to load up or load into recovery i get a pop up that is half cut off saying device has been unlocked and can't be trusted to learn more visit motorola site /unlockbootloader device will boot in 5 seconds. It is also saying n/a in the top left corner, i don't know what to do and i wish i wasn't such a noob at this but i figured i was following guides until I somehow managed to gloriously botch it.
Edit: can't turn phone off as it just reboots itself back to fast boot.
