Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy S3.
My friend has a Samsung Galaxy Ace 4.
We are both on the EE (Everything, Everywhere) Network.
If I go to Contacts -> Groups - select a group and then edit it, I have a Message alert setting.
This setting allows a tone to be set for text messages to a specific group.
I was thinking of upgrading to Ace 4 or Galaxy S5 but when I look on his Ace 4 - I can't find the Message alert setting in Contacts/Groups.
To clarify - on the Galaxy S3, I can set a Message alert per-contact or per-group (or both).
In the Ace 4, I can set a Message alert per-contact only, the option for per-group doesn't seem to be present.
Has this option been removed in a later version of Android?
If not - how can I restore it?
If it was removed, why - and where would I find equivalent functionality?
My S3 is using Android 4.3, the Ace 4 is using Android 4.4.4.
In case it matters, the Messaging system being used on both phones is the inbuilt Messaging app, not WhatsApp or Hangouts.
If anyone can point me in the right direction, it'd be appreciated

PLz Help
Hello,
I have bought recently a S3 and after all updates suggested by the OS (now it's running 4.1.2) I have noticed that my ram memory was 96% full so I have started disabling some services (most of Samsung apps, Samsung push service, etc)
Bottom line is that now I cannot assign a ringtone to a specific contact and I want to know what to enable from applications manager, in order to be able again to assign ringtones to contacts.
Thanks,
Please post questions in the dedicated subforum.

I'm a long-time user of android and iOS I have two phones separate numbers for a while now I've been looking for an app that will allow me to receive messages on both phones from one number to no avail I know they're plenty apps on android that allow this but I haven't found one yet allows the cross between android and iOS anyone knows of an app that lets you do this your help will be greatly appreciated thank you
Do you mean actual text messages (to the phone numbers) or any messages?
If it's any messages, I'd suggest just going with Facebook messenger or a similar webbased IM service.

Here is the way to compose emails with the gear S, paired with samsung galaxy s3:
First I installed this rom:

Maybe composing is already fine, but I installed an update for the stock email app to version 4.4.2.0400. But can not find the URL to the file any more. Before making the update I did not check if composing is already working. Just check it out by your own.
well here is the url to the email.apk:

How in the world do I get the phone icon to show up on a Verizon Tab S6?
I see the "phone" in the apps but can't figure out how to get the icon on the home screen?
I also can't get Samsung Messages or Textra to show up on this tablet.
Guess Verizon wants everyone to use their Messages+ app but I want to use Textra and can't.
Any ideas how I can get Textra or the stock Samsung Messages apps to show up on this tablet?
