Facebook has this rather simple gallery view if I want to add a photo to a Facebook app comment. It gives you a long list.
Whilst it works for those people with few photos on their phone, there some of us who have hundreds and the all inclusive 'Camera Roll' takes ages to scroll through them!
So I thought is there a Module that could force the Facebook app to use a gallery of my choice like Quickpic as this allows me to select from one of the folder of my Images I've got.
This would certainly be of use to active Facebook users with photos.
Comments please.

I currently have an iPhone 4 at the moment. I'm thinking of picking up a SGS 2. The latest iOS 5 beta have a map feature which shows where all of the geotagged photos are taken. Does the SGS 2 have something like that? If not, how does one view or enjoy geotagged photos on the SGS 2?
The only way I know is to first view the photo and then select the "Show on map" option.

If you do that, will it show multiple geotagged photos on the map? Or it'll only show 1 photo at a time?
Can you also make a screenshot for me?
Can someone answer my questions above?

As with all other Android phones, the 'Show on Map' feature will show only 1 photo at a time on Maps.

Thanks for the information! Is it possible that you can take a screenshot to show me how it looks like? I have no way of testing this myself because I don't have an Android device nor have I ever used one before.
Here is the image you wanted. What you need to do is view your picture within the photo album on your Android phone, press menu, then "show on map". You will be taken to the google maps app with a dot where the photo was taken.
A much better way though is to use the picasa web application (Google own that too!) All the photos that you have uploaded (you can set your phone to auto upload your pictures to picasa) can be shown as photo-icons on the map. Any number of such photos can be shown simultaneously.

So I'll have to download Picasa Web Application when I get the phone then? Can you do me another favour and take a screenshot of the Picasa Web Application with the photo-icons on the map?
OK here you go. One picture shows just the locations of the photos and the other shows the view where the photos are shown as icons in the exact place in the world. You can zoom right in or out to see more or less icons.
You don't need to D/L picasa - these screenshots were taken from the web application.
You could easily create a picasa account yourself and upload a few of your own pictures to see how it works.

Thanks for the information. When you say it's an web app, you mean the mobile version of Picasa Web's website? This means that I can get that same feature if I were to load up the mobile version of Picasa Web on my iPhone 4 as well right?
I meant the desktop version at picasaweb.google.com
I don't know whether there is an iphone picasa app or what it offers but there does not appear to be an official android app and the 3rd party ones do not appear to support geo-location. The mobile version of picasa does not appear to offer the geo-location facilities either.
I hope I'm just being really dumb here, but I can't work out how to view friends' albums on Facebook on my prime (using the official app).
When I browse a profile on my phone using the same app, I get the - About - Friends - Photos - Likes thumbnails, but not on my Prime.
Anyone else noticed this?
facebook seems to update like every three days, honestly your better off making a shortcut in your web browser and using their mobile site, its touch oriented and works better than any app i have used. You can also get your notifications from facebook going to your email so you can get notifications when people message you or whatever in email instead of in the notification bar and it still takes you directly to the content.
Sure its an extra button press but thats what works well for me. YMMV.
Was kind of expecting a 'use the browser' response, which is fair enough I guess.
Just wondered why the feature was removed or if it's just hidden somewhere.
I prefer using apps to browsers.
Alright, I know asking for app suggestions isn't looked highly upon, but I've spent literally hours over several days trying to find apps that will do what I'm wanting. I got two Xooms for my grandparents for Christmas so my family can keep up a little better. I want to give them an easy way to see pictures that members of my family upload. My sister largely uses Facebook, I use both Facebook and Google+, and my parents use Google+. Most apps only show your own albums (especially when it comes to G+/Picasa). My grandparents obviously don't have their own albums - they'll want to see our pictures. I need an app that meets the following:
Tablet compatible
Ability to integrate Facebook and Google+ albums in one place
Ability to browse friends' albums on both services, not just your own albums
Bonus points for notifications
Bonus points for free/ad-free
I'm also looking for a good weather app. I swear, I've tried them all. I'm looking for:
Tablet compatible
Temperature in notification bar
Some sort of widget
Show detailed 7- or 10-day forecast
Show radar (they live in Florida . . . )
Bonus points for free/ad-free
So . . . suggestions?

Best app ever for retail!
I work in retail (Best Buy) and I use this app all the time to write down quick notes or customer requests.
Suggestions?
Only one, different color skins for notes/interface. Great app otherwise!
I love the idea, but it won't sync with my phone. I created a list on the phone and deleted the example notes. The phone app shows the example notes and not my list.
Suggestion : Add the past (Copy/Paste) from todo list "GTask" (google task) and/or from "Out Of The Milk"
Whether an application for Gear S offline without a smartphone? Is it possible without smartphone Gear S create notes and reminders to get?
Question..why dose the app need so many permissions? Like accounts. Gps. Alarm. Apps. Sd card ?!!!! Its a note app! ?[emoji52]
Question/Suggestion
First I want to say this is a great program so thank you for making it.
I have one suggestion or question. Is it possible to be able to re-arraign the tasks within a note. It would be nice that when i open the program I immediately see, from the snapshot, important tasks first. Basically be able to add a line to the first line.
Thanks

It is a note app which is connected with Gear watch and syncs notes with Dropbox and with Gear watch.
Also you have the choice to attach pictures and to add time or location based alarms for each note.
Thank you for the question.

Very nice suggestion. I wil try to add the choice to rearrange tasks inside a note.
What about the option for completed tasks to move to the end of the list?
That would be a nice addition, but I just delete the task once completed so all I see is what needs to be done. That's why it would be nice that when i open my notes that I see the top five shown to be my priority. thanks
I really love your app!
This is an example of an app full of features. I think the developer smartGear is doing right by asking feedback. It's a nice way to improve the app and detect possible errors.

Totally Agree.
Sync with watch
I can get notes in gear app to sync with watch. Gears S3.
The app gives me "no gear device has been connected" message. I checked the obvious Bluetooth connection etc. Any suggestions on how to solve this?
Hi Everyone,
I am growing increasingly frustrated with WhatsApp and given it's such a popular app I have come to admit the problem must come from me and not the app itself.
Simply put, for any other messaging app (Messenger, Telegram, etc.), whenever someone sends me a message, the experience is pretty straightforward:
1) The image/video is already loaded and visible in the thread
2) I can click on the image/video to go full screen
3) I can click on the 3 dots or equivalent to save the image/video to my gallery
I fail to reproduce the same behavior with WhatsApp. It seems I either get to have all images/videos downloaded to my gallery, which is useless and insanely annoying. Or I get blurred thumbnails for images/videos in the thread and then need to download to see.
FYI, I have a Samsung S9+ with latest updates.
Thanks for your help!
