Hi, I am having a problem installing Urukdroid 1.6 to my Archos 70H (250gb hdd). I have downloaded the UrukDroid?_1.6-Install.rar several times but I cannot find the initramfs and kernel image to install on the internal memory. When I go to the UrukDroid?_1.6-Install.rar file there is nothing to extract. What am I doing wrong? My device has been rooted and has SDE.Any help is appreciated.
If you can't see anything in the rar File, then you are using the wrong software to decompress that archiv.

Thanks. I found out what the problem was. When I was attempting to extract the files with the windows option to extract nothing happened. I used 7-Zip and then I could then see the files.

Are you using the correct .bct, flash.cfg and nvflash for your tablet?

No idea--sorry. Try:
1. Looking inside the Stock ROM files (update or install) for the correct files.
2. Get those files from a user with a working viewpad 10s using the ``nvflash --read'' command.
3. Also make sure that you use the correct bootloader.bin and other image files for your tablet. Don't use the gTablet images with nvflash.

Upload that firmware update file somewhere, then post a link to it so that I can inspect it.

1. Is that the official viewpad 10s firmware update from ViewSonic?
2. I don't have a Windows system, so a .exe file is no use to me. Run the .exe file if it's a self-extracting executable, then upload the files extracted somewhere.

Hello,
. i want to backup my recovery and firmware img file ,please help me and give me the one correct solution because i read various posts but nothing help to extract my firmware in place i got img of recovery, bootand system img files which are 32,32 and 340 mb respectively.i think it is not a correct recovery.img because it is 32mb where as custom recovery are only 9to 12 mb,
And if it is correct recovery (as i got after backup ,32mb) how can i restore this one after installing a twrp recovery.
My tablet discription

new firmware update s223 is available. just updated. but, forget to copy the update.zip file.
anyone can upload the 210mb size file here or in any filehosting site or google drive etc., to download to keep a backup. i have all the other backups. this time missed it.
to find the latest update file, after update download complete don't update immediately, click any other option other than "update now". then goto filemanager=>internal memory/sd card memory=>googleota folder=>here u find the newly downloaded update.zip(210mb) file. and copy(don't cut & paste) that file to anyother location and upload it to any filehosting site to download then provide the link here.
note : after updating firmware the update.zip file will be deleted from the storage automatically.
any help?.
So, is there any differences?
There are recovery zipable modem files which have a 12 MB modem.bin inside.
But if i save the modem partition with any specific app from market (Partitions backup, eg.) , it creates a 32 MB modem.img.
The real question is: can i flash this bigger img with recovery? (rename the extension to .bin of course, then replace in the zip) These are in the same format? (the file headers are the same, checked with file editor)
(the reason is that i want a recovery zip file from my modem as an emergency backup, because i think it's patched)
