This is for those decided to never take any OTAs and hold on to their MDK bootloader. This is also for those of us with the Dev Ed that apparently won't ever see any updates....not that we'd take them anyway. I pulled apart joderme's .tar file, got rid of all the bad stuff (bootloader & such), and kept the good stuff.
Jrkruse took this base and added some Aroma goodness to it. He also ported over the sweet dark dialer and contacts from the int'l version.:good: This build also includes a custom loki'd kernel by Talexop . Surge1223's wifi tether mod and swgamez reboot menu are also included.

To install:
Must be on SCH-i545 VZW S4
Must be on MDK bootloader and have custom recovery (cwm or twrp).
Wipe cache, dalvik cache and data. (If you choose to "dirty flash", don't bring up any problems here).
When rebooting from recovery, it will ask if you want to "Disable Recovery Flash". Always choose "NO".

Sorry. This can only be flashed from custom recovery like cwm or twrp. You would have to be on mdk.

This is the official s4 verizon 4.3 mj7 update that he deodex'ed rooted and some other stuff. So no it's not a port. This was meant for our phones this is just a rooted version for mdk s4 users with recovery.

My personal setup step by step...
For the absolute most optimal setup follow these few simple steps to take MegaKat to a whole new level and make your Mega run like a brand new phone...enjoy
I've had so many requests for this here ya go...here's how I do my exact setup...absolutely most optimized possible
....
1. Uncheck Force Gpu Rendering in developer options...about phone, click MegaKat V10 (whatever build your on) 10 times to unlock dev options
2. Use Wanam and Xposed to deactivate Dvsf under Advanced in Wanam...dramatic boost in responsiveness, lower running temp, no screen dimming or cpu throttling
3. Change Animation and Transition settings in developer options...set all 3 from 1.0x to 0.5x. ..another huge boost to responsiveness and speed of any launcher
4. Greenify all downloaded user apps...Dont touch system app/don't activate greenify xposed mod
5. Disable the follow apps
Samsung Push Service
Google Chrome
Google Books
Google Magazines
Google Music
Google Hangouts
Google Plus
*obviously unless you use any of the above
6. Install latest Google Play Services apk...def seems to have lower battery drain that previous few apks ...thanks pierriotis for the new apk

7. Disable google location history and location reporting...doesn't affect maps or g now at all only stops a ton of data mining and wake locks
8. Never use power saving mode with my roms...i rebuild the power controller so you'll get way better battery life without psm
Enjoy the new build...latterly for those who want v10 on crack and steroids...use multicore controller or setcpu to max throttle the cpu to 1.7 ghz full time on performance governor lol then you're head will be spinning
Fixing Viper4Android on Kit Kat::
Basically on kit kat the new audio codec has different drivers and integral system frameworks...one new change is the low power audio integration...which has been a part of android for a while but with the changes to kk it interferes with viper...so i figured out the viper apk and driver wasn't properly disabling the lpa kernel drivers...so an easy fix to guarantee viper consistency...

Scroll down a few "paragraphs" of code until you find these 3 codes...
lpa.decode=true
tunnel.decode = true
tunnel.audiovideo.decode=true
***if you've installed viper it may have set one or two to =false already...see below
Now viper will properly change one sometimes 2 to false...but all 3 need to be =false...
Change them to
lpa.decode=false
tunnel.decode=false
tunnel.audiovideo.decode=false
Click save and exit..**of using root explorer delete build prop.bak then reboot...finish setting up viper as usual enjoy

As long as you flash it over stock 9200 kk base it should...obviously I dont Know since I don't own a 9200...if you flash it let me know how it goes man

No the bootloader does not get flashed in roms only in odin...and no you have to follow the instructions like I wrote them...or else I wouldn't have bothered writing them out specifically...you get status flashing errors if you don't follow my method

No worries dude...but that process is hard and fast to keep you out of a whole lot of trouble lol...the whole ordeal is confusing enough with kk updating and all the knox boot stuff...but if you follow that process all together it should take you 25 mins or so and keep all your apps installed but be running my heavily tweaked kk build

Ok mega i already install in old bootloader with old baseband. And i know that cause wifi problem. But no problem i just try. No problem in flashing process. It boot just like before with megafire. I just got unfortunately system for now when i go to security section. Internet ok but not wifi. Carrier look good. Faster then before (for me). Will report again. Thanks man

Yea your gonna get breaks in wifi and the system by doing that like I noted...i get what you were trying just to see. ..but you have to follow that method I posted...it's quick and easy tbh and the rom is super fast...I'm actually staying on Megakat I'm so impressed...the benchmarks are 500 points higher in quadrant alone that v11 and nearly 1100 higher than stock lol that alone is enough for me to stay... the stock kk rom was a joke but I'm stoked with v1

so let me tell u what just happened lol
i went ahead and did a nandroid backup
didnt wipe or do anything else
dirty flashed V1 KK rom and i swear it wokred. booted up and everything without an issue or error.
so just to be clear it does work dirty flashing it coming from JB MegaFire 11/JB stock
my only problem is my GT-I9200 phone screen doesnt work on any official KK roms :'( ithink its because of my replacement screen.
i wish i had a way to fix it, i hate AOSP

There's a reason I don't recommend this or even trying it since your going to have issues no matter what and is why I went thru the specific process man...if it boots or not doesn't really make a difference...it's how it well runs and how stable it runs and this way will never be either...don't try an backdoor this update guys...follow the instructions...all your apps stay on your mega and settings so there's no reason to try a backdoor when I've given you guys the easiest most efficient way to get there stable

This worked with Philz recovery but it will probably install with TWRP just fine as well.
** Please note, TWRP through v2.8.0.1 is still not working dependably for making backups and restores but it works fine for everything else.

The only thing I can find is it is an SSL security update, and that is the only change mentioned. I don't believe there is much visually in this which is why I am pleasantly surprised anyone bothered working on it. L is supposed to be out in late November, December.

This is just like a regular rom. The only thing I noticed after flashing back to a backup of ne5, the phone did a hands free activation and then checked for an updated prl.

First you will need a permissive kernel,sky high is a great kernel for lollipop and is permissive or http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/general/how-to-installing-viper4android-v4a-t3136025 instead of kernel. Go to system/priv-app rename SoundAlive_Tablet_20 to SoundAlive_Tablet_20.bak . Next Go to system/lib/soundfx rename libaudiosa_sec.so to libaudiosa_sec.so.bak, Next system/lib rename libaudiosa.so to libaudiosa.so.bak. install v4a reboot and enjoy v4a on stock samsung music player.

You do not need a permissive kernel anymore as you can use a SuperSU policy instead. Using a SuperSU policy is more secure plus is your only viable option if you rooted without tripping knox and use stock which does not allow permissive mode. Look in the general section for a V4A how to. It is targeted at Lollipop but the SuperSU policy flash file link could be used with KitKat.

@3DSammy I made This thread so people can have v4a on there stock samsung music player since there is no info on doing it. Most samsung device v4a will not work with stock music player with our tab s it will. But thanks for the info I will post I link to the thread. My kernel has added SU SELinux policies, so in theory, should allow V4A even if kernel is set enforcing. Never tested this actually working though, as I only use Wolfson Audio which used board level rather than software gains

because with the unofficial kernel my N900a is put into restore mode because it is not the ATT kernel (a triangle appears)
I tried to install magiks, but the same thing happens to me,

Firstly,
You can't use Magisk on the N900A because any modification or patch to the kernel can soft brick the phone. Please use the Super-SU preloaded on it.
To make the phone boot again, you can flash this package here:

Since it contains all the stock partitions (including kernel)
Also, anyone using this ROM should please share the screenshots because my N900A is currently unavailable.

I will confront you my multiple problems
the touch buttons do not respond well, the proximity sensors, gyroscope and I think they all do not work in 5.0.1
returning to kitkar the touch buttons recover but the sensors do not
I don't know why it happens

the problem of all sensors was solved by installing 4.4.2
4 files and .pit with odin
then go from NC2 to lollipop pre root.
after lollipop to your rom and everything normal, except the touch buttons,
in stock 5.0.2, in lollipop root. you rom
those keys work very erratically

You are not supposed to go to pre-rooted Lollipop. Here's what to do:
Go back to Kit-Kat NC2 Firmware,
Towelroot it, sideload and install Super-SU and update binaries,
Reboot the phone, then sideload and install Flashfire-Pro (For the love of God not Safestrap!)
Wait for Super-SU to grant Flashfire access, then configure it to install the ROM and reboot in DOWNLOAD mode.
After installing the ROM, when it goes to the Download mode, Flash the "N900A All other stock partitions" file I provided earlier.
When it's done, reboot to recovery mode and factory reset and wipe the cache as well.
Reboot and enjoy this ROM.
If however this ROM still gives problems, try re-downloading the ROM and go through this tedious steps to flash it again.

Uncheck Diagnostic data from Settings >>> About
The problem should be resolved now.
