Some time ago i was using SlimSaberKat by @fusionjack and later CM11 by @Markox89 as a daily driver. But then the demand for lollopop pushed me forward to leave those great roms.
Currently I am on Omni 5.1 and it is much smoother than 5.0 . SlimLP 5.1 is imo only a matter of time and patience. See this post on slim's google+-page: https://plus.google.com/+SlimromsNet/posts/ffGnX4gXrbN

Screenshot needed please. What is the actual error displayed when restoring /system? Perhaps you could flash back to android 4.4.4

Just give slimroms some time. They haven't updated the base code for a while now (and are still working on 5.1 lollipop), and they are still trying to fix many current issues with slimLP alpha.
The rom not start. I whait 15 minute on the logo, but nothing.
I have use all clean and downloading the rom 2 times..

You need to have a kitkat compatible recovery, and just follow the steps in the OP. And of course root access

I have had this issue once or twice. You can download another keyboard .apk(from market) and put it into /system/app manually using something like root explorer. You will need to set the permissions doing it this way. Or you could try doing a full wipe and reflashing the rom.
The recovery is in the kernel that comes with the rom. If you want TWRP back you would have to flash a custom kernel such as apolo.
PUK
Newest build, but PUK bug is still here. At least for me.
Every time i restart my phone it says sim card is locked. I enter PIN, then the phone asks to enter PUK, after entering PUK it lets me to enter new pin code, which is kind of annoying. Any ideas why this bug still occurs?

As you can see in screens, kitkat is 1st and Lollipop is 2nd rom ..go to arter97 kernels thread and check last 2 pages I think, there was guide

using mobile data which shows connected but unable to load either in web briwser or play store....
but the rom is awesome great work...

try with stock kernel it will take 5-10 minutes to boot but everything working except networks
Well after reading all the posts I decided to test it. First of all, I'm no developer. Here's what I did;
1. Did "Wipe to install a new ROM" from philz
2. Installed ROM
3. Installed Gapps.
That's pretty much it for everyone who keeps asking how to install it -_- and the first boot took about 10 minutes for some reason.
As for bugs, I still haven't experienced a single issue except for the keyboard problem which I fixed by enabling hardware keyboard from settings. Everything works smooth as silk :')
Just sharing my results because of all the negative posts..

I tried to install that rom (which looks amazing by the way) but when I reboot my device after install it just shows the bubbles and restarts.
I replaced a recovery (from ClockWorkMod to Philz) but it still exists.
what can I do?

i do this , but not work at all!
phone just shows the bubbles and restarts
found a slove, download arter97 kernel (5.0 version) and flash it after installing the rom and gapps.

That works too but I don't know I didn't have to flash his kernel. I just installed the ROM and the default kernel it came with :/ Glad it's working for you :3

I gave up trying after my battery became near empty from 90%. I am getting home screen without status bar and lockscreen if i flash with arter's kernel otherwise just bubbles and bootloop. Few managed to getting the rom work, Does previous rom and recovery(i am using latest twrp) have anything to do with this?

I have Philz recovery but I'm told I need to upgrade my bootloader to flash CM 12 can someone point me in the right direction to a link or tell me how to do it!!!!

Is WiFi tether working on @ram9200 's build? CNT seem to get it to actually provide data. It connects but not data is shared. Hmm...perhaps I should wait a few more minutes and give temaseks V1 SPR a go.

The newest build is currently temaseks V1. Under his cm12 folder...basket build.

Not sure what would have gave you an error, I flashed it like any other ROM and gapps with the latest twrp.

I am trying to flash this build of cm 12 but i get an error in twrp saying that the rom is for hltspr and my device is hlte. Any ideas on how to correct this?

Cannot go into CW recovery mode to load Cyanogenmod
Hi all and thank you for your help in advance.
I have a Note 3 from sprint (SM-N900P) with Android 4.4.4
I have rooted this device via Odin and is tested to be rooted and from Super SU I have disabled Knox
Installed Rom Manager and installed the correct Clockwork-recovery
When I attempt to reboot in recovery I get this message EVERY time
Recovery Booting......
Recovery is not SEANDROID enforcing
Set Warranty bit : recovery
Which does not allow me to do anything other than wait for the reboot or remove the battery.
I recover from this by re-flashing the root ROM form Odin.
Looks to me there is some safe mechanism kicking in here stopping the phone from booting into CW recovery
I tried as well to load CW in download mod from Odin with same results.
Any help will be appreciated
and the phone will do a reboot loop showing this message.
I have read most pages in this post and do not see anyone with this post with no joy.
The purpose of this is to load Cyanogenmod 11 and use this phone with my Canadian carrier.

TWRP vs Phil
I've flashed 3 different releases of 5.0 using TWRP without issue. I initially flashed CM11 and dirty flashed CM12 and everything but video works.
I am having a problem with the Dialer. When I try to type a number in I get a FC when I hit the CALL button. Do you know what might be causing this?

Thank man, you rock! Other than that issue (which unfortunately defeated the whole "phone" thing ), the ROM was amazing. As a side note, I was also getting random system FC's intermittently, which basically soft rebooted the launcher. Though this was manageable, as it was pretty infrequent.

Anyone completely almost brick flashing Bliss Pop 5.0 Lollipop Rom?
Last night I flashed the 12-3 version of the ROM and my G3 kept throwing the error message "Unfortunately setup wizard has stopped working" over and over and over again. Then occasionally it would say "AOSP Keyboard has stopped working". There was no launcher present either-just a blank screen with the Bliss logo.
I could swipe down and get to the menus -but the Wifi and mobile networks weren't connecting.
Trying to reboot manually into TWRP recovery didn't work either-kept rebooting into the rom. I had to ADB sideload to get it to reboot into recovery, then restore my nandroid backup.
I used the Bliss Gapps file provided, although they weren't for 5.0 according to the download, still 4.4.
Could have been a bad flash I guess, but wanted to see if anyone else had that issue.

Using 4.4 gapps with a 5.0 ROM will do that. Wipe and reflash with 5m0 gapps and see if that works

Yep. This is most likely the issue. I'll update the op for the lollipop builds to specify that lollipop gapps must be used for it. The gapps that are posted are only for bliss Stalk (kitkat)

Solution for me: Power on by holding power button + volume down, when you see lg logo, release both and then press and hold both again. When boot animation starts, just continue holding and it will boot into recovery.
Question
I successfully flashed this rom with the 5.0 gapps. After playing around with it a bit, I cannot seem to find any of the system apps mentioned in the OP. Should I install again? Also, does the quick circle case work with this rom or other non-stock (LG) roms?

The system apps mentioned are for blissStalk (the kitkat version). The lollipop build doesn't have all of those apps.
The quick circle case doesn't work on any non stock based ROMs unfortunately. I have the case as well

Does this ROM support verizon's new Advanced Calling feature?

When I am using this ROM viewing videos from snapchat don't work. Even of it's my own. Is there a codec I need to download or is this a bug in the ROM?
Seems to happen with most of these. I think its a cm12 issue. I can view but not take vids :/

I'm not absolutely sure. I don't own this device. Make a backup and give it a try. You can always flash back to your backup/flash the new bootloader. Is there a reason that you don't wanna upgrade the bootloader?

many people were having bootloop problem installing any lollipop rom on kitkat bootloader. You can try but if you get bootloop or stuck at bootanimation, try installing cm11 stable build then flash this rom over it(by wiping dalvik cache, cache and data).

only way to update bootloader is to install 5.0.2 soak test zip.You can search in forum

Stuck in Bootloop
Stuck in boot logo with cm icon and circle flashing in the behind. Please help
I wiped all partitions then installed the last build.
It seems that the new option to hide the network activity arrows doesn't do anything, enven after a reboot.

Does this ROM (for I9100) is totally stable for daily use? Does Maps works? Cause in Cyanogen many things broken and I had to revert to 4.4.4. And all works fine. So I'd love to use 5.1.1, mainly because of SysUI is great! But I need your expertise please.

Another question arnab. It appear that like other LP Roms yours doesn't support init.d. Correct me if I'm wrong. If I'm not are you thinking in supporting it in DU? I'm talking about it, cause I use swap partition (internal<->externalsd) in LP and it requires kernel with init.d support. Appolo Kernel has it for Lollipop, but I think it lacks the stability of a stock ROM, if you know what I mean. Thanks.

Solved with Init.d Toggler. Thanks. By the way, this ROM is solid. Way better than any other I have tested before. Keep up the good work and this definitely will be the best LP built for I9100!!!

Everything is working flawlessly except one thing that bothered me: external SDcard isn't recognized or mounted at all.

Here too. Having problems with GLTools and LINK2SD not finding SDcard, but card is mounted and working for some applications. I'm installing the ROM again in my I9100, just in case. Praying. :fingers-crossed: But one thing is for certain, this ROM is blasting fast and stable in overall. Congrats to DU team for that! And thanks for arnab by bringing it to us.

I fixed my problem with Paragon NTFS&HFS+. There's a problem in LP with SELinux permissions. It has to be enforced the permission to apps get access to sdcard. And there's users permissions and developers permissions. I tried to fix the problem just by restorecon -Fv /data/media but with no results. So the problem is more with the enforcing mode of SELinux being necessary for some apps to work correctly, like lucky patcher or gltools that perhaps use a more "kernel level code".
I think LP is good in many things, but Google turn out to be the bad guy and struggle a lot the way the permissions are made with applications and sdcard in write and read access.
So, to say how things are going right now. I have full access to my 128gb sdcard as an internal storage by an init.d script. All the apps until now working with full support. And now will begin to install all the games and apps to see how this fantastic rom run after all. I'll give more news about the other features when I start to use them.

Sdcard is working perfectly in link2sd storage info sdcard1 shows perfectly....btw ybdnt u use the default apps2sd.

Got bootloop... I think need to clean flash it again
I have an issue with TWRP 2.8.6.0 in DU rom. When I'm in recovery I can't swipe to confirm flash or restore backup. Swipe button is outside of my screen. Any solutions?

Sorry. My bad. I had 2.8.5.0 TWRP theme on my internal SD. I delete theme and now everything is fine. It's is possible to set more than 5 app shortcuts on lockscreen?
