I understand the Jetsream is a fesh product at this point with few accessories.... but
Its coming down to me purchasing an HTC Jetstream or Galaxy Tab, and my loyalty with my EVO has me swayed one way. My roommate has a Galaxy Tab though with the Zagg Keyboard Case. Its pretty hot. It bumped up the functionality of the Tab quite a bit.
If something as sleek was released for the Jetstream, I would be willing to wait in order to get it. Does anyone know of such an accessory? I like the way the Zagg case for the Tab is very hard and protective and turns into a stand as well. I want to see this same concept for the Jetstream.
This is a deciding factor for me. Anyone have any news on Jetstream keyboard cases?
Thanks!

So i check out my Favorite Tech Accessories manufacturer [Logitech]
and found two keyboard that may solve your Prob.
Logitech® Tablet Keyboard for Android™ 3.0+
Logitech Keyboard Case for Samsung Galaxy Tab™ 10.1
Both can be found in on the Logitech Online store under "Tablet Accessories"
BTW in theory any Bluetooth keyboard & mouse would work just need the right
Case + Mouse + keyboard and your all set
The more I've used the tablet now, the more i like the virtual keyboard. I may wait on a hard keyboard.
i modded the $80 (at Walmart) iPad2 Kensington leather case that includes a Bluetooth keyboard. Of course had to do some cutting for the camera, cutting so the volume buttons were not being pressed, etc. Works great.
Remember... when looking at the REAR 8 Meg camera (not screen side) there are two small holes openings at the top of the unit. These seem to be light detectors for the camera, so you need to be sure the case does not block those two small diagonal holes.
Also, the center spline has enough space to velcro the HTC Scribe pen device for storage.

I have a nice dvd slot mount that grabs the sides of the phone with foam covered retractable arms, but the Z Ultra with its power/volume in the center is a little hard to use. I use waze and google navigation a bunch and would be nice to find something that holds this in the car somehow.
Have you guys found any creative solutions?

I am using the infiniapps magnetic mount. It works great! Ofcourse, it depends on if your phone is naked, in a bumper, or in a case. I'm currently using the incipio feather case and have stuck the metal plates to the case itself (not my phone). and It holds really well. With the infiniapps mount, you'll only get one adhesive plate so I bought an additional one as well. See pictures for how I've attached the plates. I'll upload a picture of the phone mounted tomorrow.

So you have to put a plate on front and back of your case?
I don't use a case currently. I'm assuming I could just stick one of these pads to the back of the phone?
Are they really secure going over big bumps and stuff like that?
Yeah I put plates on the case because I didn't want to stick anything to the phone. It would obviously be lighter without a case, and thus hold better if you stuck it to the phone. It's been really secure over bumps and at high speeds. Held perfectly during a 7 hr drive last week.
I am using this one.

It's the only customfit car holder for the Ultra I could find. When in the car I remove my Ultra from the Nillkin case and put it in the holder. I use it for navigation quite a lot and I hate it when the phone is loose in the car holder which is the case with most universal clamp style holders.
I have the InfiniApps Slyde CD Slot Mount also. Best phone mount ever. CD players are usually in the best location for viewing. I had cup, dash mounts, they were terrible. I used the sticky metal plate and attached it to the back of a case. Also magnetic attachment makes for quick removal of the phone when you want to check a message etc...

Hi can you post some pics of it...???
This is the one I got. Worked pretty good until the Z Ultra..

Cool these look good. Just found another one which is cheaper than the others $12.99 + $2.99 delivery. Looks like it does the same thing and will also fit the Z Ultra (checked the dimensions). Link
Is there any risk that the CD slot ones will damage the CD player? Is the slot strong enough to handle the weight of the Xperia Z Ultra?
I've been using PuGoo sticky pads for a good year or two now to mount whatever smartphone I'm using. It's very handy.

I already have this car holder and it works fine. It keeps the phone firmly in place and it is easy to put in and take out.

Does it stay in place while driving and when hitting potholes or bumps?
It does hold very strong, I just got one of these. I hate cases on my phone but I put one on so I could attach the metal plate to the inside of the case. It has never fallen off on even the biggest bumps.
I am still deciding if I want to just stick the plate to the back of my phone... I wonder how easy it is to get the adhesive off the back glass if I ever wanted to remove it...
Yes is holds really well. Just had a 6hr drive this morning!
Edit: Here is a picture of how it looks while driving.

Just wanted to say that I just bought this:
Scosche stuckUP
Its early to tell but the quality feels solid compared to the many ebay cheapo one that end up breaking in no time.
The whole things just feel quality..and for the price it better! lol
Several ways to use it...I went with Windshield for now. Holds the phone very tightly and during the trip its very stable.
Also, I did not even have to remove the flip case I have which makes it seem a lot bulkier so I feel it will do great with either the CP12 or any of those battery/case combinations.
Happy to finally have my phone up there even if it blocks most of my view! LOL
I have come to the conclusion that a universal mount for a small tablet is the ideal car mount, so I have been looking at ebay for ones designed for the Nexus 7, Memopad 7 and Samsung Tab 7, and then checking that they can be adjusted small enough for the XZU.
this one in particular looks appropriate:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160672229905?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
it's a little bit more expensive than I'd expect for a simple product, but I've not seen a similar unit.
The one I bought above works excellent, it is for phones but depends on what you like.
I am very happy with the quality compared to all the crap I bought before lol
I have one of the Imagnet mounts in my F350 I used with another phone. I checked the Z Ultra and it sticks to it without needing the metal plate attached to the back of the phone. Right under the camera area inside the phone is enough metal that the magnet works fine. I have driven with it in that bouncy old truck and it does not come off or move around at all. The only bad thing is the metal is not centered so the phone only sits in portrait orientation. But it beats having to stick a metal plate to the back of the phone.
I like it because I am in and out a lot through the day and it is quick and easy to just toss the phone onto the magnet then just grab it off there when I need it. I have not tried it with a power cable attached but most likely it will just make it tilt over a bit depending on how much the power cable hangs down I guess. With the battery life of this phone it has not been something I have needed compared to the Mega 6.3 that would go dead much quicker streaming slacker radio over bluetooth than this beast of a phone. Most likely the charger cable would have to be supported in some way to keep it from making the phone lean to one side.
Just wondering if anyone has had experience using something like this on their Z3/Z3C or other phone? Looks like it would work ok and much cheaper than the Sony one (and available now).
I can't really justify paying ~$50 for the Sony one as that's money that could go towards another game

I dont think the back will come off that easily as it will be glued together strong enough to make the phone waterproof

How does the remote play work? If using the PS4 controller while mounting the Z3 on there, wouldn't that be uncomfortably heavy over long sessions?
The support for remote play isn't even here yet.... Bleh. Nyko makes a good controller clip for the phone.
I've had the Nyko one since Feb (txting during games). Works great.
there is a store on amazon selling the nyko one brand new for $12.95 shipped. I hopped on the deal and so did my friend. Have not gotten it yet so can't yet confirm 100% on its legitimacy. seller seems reputable however.

Just noticed that the clip you've shown is for the PS3 controller. I don't think it would fit round a Dualshock 4.
I can also confirm that the Nyko clip is great and works quite well.
cheapest Nyko clip for PS4 I can find is $18.50 here
It does look good though and possibly a better hold for the Z3
The clamp cups the device quite well. It holds it perfectly.
310
Looks good. 1 question though: it seems that the clamps are right around the power button and volume rocker. Doesn't it interfere with them?
I don't have any issues with it interfering with the buttons. The pressure of the mechanism isn't all that strong, it really just holds the lips down around the edges of the device. Like I said it works well and I've used it with a note3 and a ps vita with no issues. The vita was a bit fat for the clamp but it worked okay.

Cheap one for you Americans.
Anyone know if these are avaliable in the UK? The postage works out at £30+ so this is not really viable.
EDIT: http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/351211776498?nav=SEARCH
Works out at £15.51 delivered to NI but delivery is estimated between 8th and 18th of November. Do we have any idea when the GCM10 is expected to launch?
I think this clip might actually work better though, don't like the look of the suction cup on the official one.
It looks ugly as hell, but if it works and it's cheap.. why not?
What are your opinions on Sony Game Control Mount GCM10?
It's worth to buy for Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact?
I don't like the suction cup mounting method. Not sure how well it would a phone with a case on it. Bought the Nyko mount for 1/3 of the price, and it has been working well enough. Don't think the arm extends far enough for the Tablet Compact though.
Nyko will not fit the tablet Z3
I'll give it a rest with this device. Buy case with stand.

There are people in the comments of the Amazon page for the Nyko mount talking about a simple mod to make it work with tablets. Didn't read into it... But it may be worth a shot
How do you guys like the mount so far? I bought a cheap $13 one for a Dualshock 3 and I'm not a fan. It fits perfectly and holds the phone fine, but what I didn't take into account was that the phone is so heavy. When holding the controller, the phone really puts it's weight on your wrists.

The NYKO mount suffers the same issue with weight. It feels awkward and topheavy to hold. I'mpretty sure the GCM10 suffers the same problem.
Hi
I'm looking into getting a keyboard for my Note 12.2. I currently have the Samsung book cover and it does what it says and works fine. However I can't decide between a keyboard case or a separate keyboard. My requirements are possibly too much to ask from one device though as most nights I watch stuff on it in bed (not that sort of stuff ) and need to be able to hold it comfortably with the cover behind the tablet.
The one thing I don't like about the book cover is the way it stands up. It's very unstable and to be honest, not suitable to use with a separate keyboard. So if I went with a separate one, I'd need to get a cover/case that supported the tablet much better in landscape orientation standing up.
The keyboard case I was looking at was the Logitech Pro Case. Seems nice but how does it feel when the keyboard is behind so you can hold the tablet? Does it add much weight also?
Any ideas or photos of your set up would be greatly appreciated
Cheers
Andy
Too good to be true??

I got the Wedge keyboard, and I bet Amazon has plenty of those used. I wished I waited to get mine from Amazon instead of buying it at full price at Staples. Great build quality, never once failed when using it for either my mac or tablet, and has portability. But any bluetooth keyboard pretty much does the same thing, though it depends on what you want.
If you want portability, get the Wedge Keyboard.
But if you want a bigger keyboard, I bet there are plenty. I've never heard of a keyboard case like the surface covers, but those would be a cool thing.
I have the Logitech cover with keyboard. It is very well designed and pretty comfortable. Its only disadvantage is weight - it weights about the same as the tablet itself.
Wytaptalkowane na notatniku
I prefer a separate bluetooth keyboard. So I've got a Logitech K810. It's exactly the same width as the tablet, so they fit together nicely in a sleeve. Excellent build quality, battery lasts for months and the keys are very responsive (as expected from Logitech's high-end line. It is 100 quid, after all.)
I also prefer a separate keyboard, picked up a used Belkin fsl114 (10 inch wide) for almost nothing that is outstanding. Believe it was in an Ipad case. We use extensively on another tablet and lasts quite a long while. Not quite full sized, about 3/4 size.

I got RAPOO E6700 and with Xposed Additions I'm more than happy with it.
In mobile situations I use Microsoft Sculpt Keyboard, in the Office I use the full size Speedlink Athera Bluetooth Keyboard.
Thanks for all the advice, I'll be looking for a separate keyboard now I've got a decent folio case.
Is there any way to remove the magnets from the Logitech case? Or does anyone know of a keyboard case without magnets?
I really don't want anything to mess up the S-pen functionality and really don't like magnets in general when it comes to proximity to electronics.
The magnets in the Logitech case does not affect the S-pen functionality. Magnets do not affect electronics unless you use a really powerful magnet like the ones used in lifting cars in a junk yard.
However, normal magnets may affect floppy disks by erasing the magnetic part of the disk but who uses those anymore?
Most good speakers have a powerful electromagnet in them and you don't ever hear of those causing any issues with electronic stuff. In my office those speakers are within inches of my laptop and never any issues.

It's not about electronics. The Spen sensor itself is magnetic. Introducing another magnet into the magnetic field of the Spen disrupts the field.
Maybe, but the magnet in the Logitech keyboard does not affect my Spen in my Note Pro 12.2. Is it affecting yours?

Logitech has put a bit of protective material between the tablet and the case in their Note cases. The issue affected all Spen devices.
Cheaper cases, however, don't have that addition.
So annoying that the best keyboard case out there has these. It's a well known fact that magnets disrupt SPen. A clasp would have been fine. Which is why I bought the Speck Folio. And I'm probably going to buy a standalone K810 keyboard. Even if it's way less compact.
Really satisfied with my Logitech keyboard/case combo, the ability to switch layouts (I'm using canadian french) makes it perfect for the job. I'm also using a bluetooth mouse to get the most of it. Add a USB OTG dongle and you get pretty everything you need for a laptop replacement.
The only setback, like the others said, there's no magnet to shutdown the screen when closing the case.
I bought it on ebay for about 60$ which is well worth it.
I had a device with Wacom pen (it was an e-book reader) with cover that had a magnet in it - what it did is it destroyed the pen. The screen still works with another Wacom pen, but the pen that I had with the device is broken and draws only on parts of the screen. So now I avoid any covers with magnets.
I have had the Logitech since I bought the tablet 7 months ago and no problems at all.
