Help please! Phone stuffed 😂 - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi just wanting some help from a android guru.
I did update my phones rom to a new update and the next morning somehow it said it failed to encrypt my phone which I did not ask it to.
Now my phone won't work. I can turn it on and get s3 splash screen and it does not go further.
I can get to cwm and download screen
When I try to flash via Odin it fails at nand flash fail.
I have tryed quite a few things. Please look at pic and if anyone can help please.

Try the rescue firmware and pit file, search general forum. If that falls to flash then first try downgrade to BLFB bootloader.

Hey
I get nand write fail ?

Sorry, emmc chip has failed/corrupted try the dead boot recovery but probably time for a new phone.

Yes, it is sudden death symptom. You need to replace nand chip or whole motherboard but it will cost you ca. 100 bucks. You could try to buy s3 with cracked screen and good motherboard and replace it. But there will be different IMEI and serial number of course but you can replace them with box in any service center. If your warranty is acctual then you should send it to Samsung service center.
It happens offen while upgrading to 4.3 directly from 4.1.2.

Soft briked or hard briked

Hi all.
I have already posted my problem in this thread which I have read to the end ( [GUIDE] Fix an unflashable or soft bricked I9100G )
but was not able to get any solution so I'm starting a new thread hopefully someone might be able to help me and sorry if I was not suppose to start a new thread.
My problem is as follows and hope that someone can help.
I have downloaded odin mobile and installed it on my S2 I9100 G which previously had CM 10 installed on it and I wanted to flash the official firmware using Odin mobile. I did run it and then the phone prompted me for M5 or Md5 that was detected and should click yes to verify before flashing. I clicked yes then it started verifying and when it was done it rebooted and then was stuck on the (Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-19100G black screen) and did not want to move. I waited for an hour and a half and nothing happened. When I removed the battery (I could not reset or do anything else) and put it back, the phone turned on by itself and stayed still on the starting screen (Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-19100G black screen)
Now I'm not being able to put it in recovery nor download mode.
Can any one help and anyone knows if the jtag dongle can actually force it to go to download mode even at this stage
Thanks in advance for any suggestion
Ok thank you guys. I think I was able to fix it and revive my phone.
go to service centre they solve your problem

Sorry for quoting the op
Flash stock rom
Then go to stock recovery
Wipe data
Reboot..
Let me know if this works
Solved now
Hi all
thanks for all,
I got the solution , i Flash bootloader with odin.
Now my phone is stared but not getting able to register in Mobile network , seems my IMIE number is lost ,
I have old nandroid backup i am going to restore to store my IMIE
Thanks All for your help
Hate to break it to you, but restoring a nandroid isn't that likely to bring your IMEI back. If you're very lucky, flashing a stock rom for your country/carrier (if you're already running one, flash others) might bring it back if it's a case of temporary IMEI loss. If not, many mobile repair shops (not Samsung service centres) should be able to write the IMEI back to the device relatively cheaply. And if not, a Samsung authorised repairer can do it (or they may replace the motherboard which has already been suggested to you), but that can obviously be somewhat expensive.
Or if lucky op might find a efs backup somewhere in internal memory

galaxy s3 gt9300 or 1747 ?

Hope someone can help me here . First when I bought my phone I'm sure it is a gt 9300 I succeeded at rooting it but never flashing a costum recovery (I tried Odin ,flashify ..everything ) the phone just didn't boot into recovery even the stock one so I thought the bootloader maybe is locked so I used an app to unlock it (don't remember which ) but it just hard bricked it .so I take it to a repair shop they try everything but the phone don't boot so they change the motherboard which lead to my problem now .I rooted the phone again but I still can't boot into recovery even stock one and the thing is I noticed that in the download mode screen it's written that this phone is a sgh 1747 but when I start the phone it shows gt 9300 even in the about phone section
So which one is it ?
So no one has an idea bout this .
Well I succeeded at flashing a custom recovery .I used a sgh 1747 one .I guess I should flash a custom 1757 rom too.
The model number in download is the model number for the motherboard and associated components. If the model is sgh-i747, the motherboard is from an at&t s3.
I9300 has 1gb of ram. The rest have 1.5gb of ram.
