austin go in your about phone in settings and tell us about your phone what verison it is what stock verision of what region so we can assisst you properly you cannot walk in car dealership and be like i need car for wife and leave.

austin first you need to root. i would suggest going to www.droidrzr.com they have excellent support for xt912 cdma also they have live chat support i dont know how to work xt 912 i only know xt 910 gsm sorry buddy
This will definitely help ya .. All threads related to droid RAZR aka xt912 is there(all custom roms , rooting method , flashing, unbricking and all )
Try matts razr utility to upgrade to jellybean and then root with the same utility and install safestrap or bmm ,
Make partition and install any custom rom on 2nd or 3rd slot

Try this .. Its not stock because stock rom is not available for Verizon xt912 bit its far better then stock with good performance and battery life
Just download cdma version of cm10 and install if from safestrap

Ok so i was bricked but i un bricked using matts utility for windows i was flashed i unbricked and my flash is gone (cricket flash not rom flash) how can i fix this i rooted again and tried backing up my stock backup i made before the brick but no dice on that how can i get my flash back or will i have to re flash the phone please help or suggestions thanks....

Because when u go back to straight stock it replaces the info that you flashed to the phone. When I wanted to come back from page plus I just did a rsd and that fixed the issue I had.

So you must reflash stock JB with RSD Lite. But you lose safestrap partitions and you must install it again.

I think that you can't flash Mui with SS 3.75,you must use older version of SS,3.73.

what rom version are you using?
I just tried miui_xt912_santajin_4.10.10_75c338fa2e_4.4
and it installed on both rom slot 1 and 2, without error,
using Safestrap-spyder-v3.75-unused-partitions.apk, on my XT908, should be the same as Safestrap-umts_spyder-v3.75.apk

Did you install a rom on stock slot?
if so did you backup stock rom, before installing a rom over it?
if so, restore backup. if not maybe someone can upload a backup of stock rom,
if not, you will need to flash stock system.img, if you want stock rom.
I have uploaded a copy of my stock rom nandroid backup for my XT908, but have no idea how well it will work on a XT910

I have a gs4 and want to put carbon rom on it, I have the latest version of everything to install but I keep running into the same issue.
I cannot get TWRP or Clockwork mod to work, all it does it break my recovery mode and I have to go to the samsung guy at bestbuy to flash it.
It is rooted.
Any alternative ways would be fine too, I just want to run carbon and need to fix it soon.

Can you link a tutorial for using Odin to flash the Rom.
I used Odin to flash the CWM (I tried with TWRP also) and the app itself.

So I found out the problem, 4.4.4 does not support custom recoveries, I will revert to 4.4.2 and try it out.
