FM Radio for different variation of Mega 6.3 - Samsung Galaxy Mega

I haven't received my L600 yet and I was indeed searching for a good phone that I stumbled upon Mega. It is interesting that i9200 has Stock FM radio although not mentioned in documentations, yet i9205 lacks it. So, I'd like to ask from owners of different variations of Galaxy Mega 6.3" phones: I wonder if SPH-L600 has it out of box? and if not, has anyone had success installing Spirit1 or Spirit2 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=60313991)? Thanks.
Here are all (at least from what I know) Mega 6.3" variations:
i9200
i9205
i9208
i527 (AT&T)
i527m (Canada)
SPH-L600 (Sprint)
SCH-R960 (U.S. Cellular)
SCH-P729
SHV-E310S
M819N (Metro PCS)

Can anyone with a rooted SGH-I9200 please:
1. give me output of "dmesg"
2. upload the stock FM Radio apk file? Thanks

The FM radio chipset on SGH-I527M is called Qualcomm MSM9860 IC which is same as S4 mini as well as Nokia Lumia 920, 925, 1020 and 1320 (look here: http://www.microsoft.com/en/mobile/phone/lumia1320/specifications/)
Based on https://community.verizonwireless.com/thread/803729, it is capable of receiving FM radio. My research continues but at this point I am 100% certain that it is imposed by greedy North American carriers!

Maybe we can bring FM Radio to other variants of Mega 6.3" like Nexus One phone (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=723373).
For future reference:

Last option: modifying hardware like Jolla users did: http://www.jollausers.com/2014/08/videowip-fm-radio-otherhalf/
I think by flashing I9200 kernel to other models, we can have FM radio.

I found this app called FM TwoO with some interesting libraries. It's taken down from app store though.

[Q] GT-I9100 /w AWS UTMS band?

I've read that the AT&T version of the SGSII (Skyrocket) and Galaxy Note can be flashed with the Tmo SGSII modem and work. Does anyone know if this can be done on the international SGSII (GT-I9100)?
I have this, and was on AT&T, but now on T-Mobile. I still love this phone and want to use it on Tmo on their HSPA+ network.
I've searched, and nothing has come up. I wonder how much hardware parts these variants share with the "original".
Probably a Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 vs Exynos thing....

No. The GT-I9100 physically lacks the capability to receive one of the two necessary bands for AWS to receive high speed data on T-mobile USA's network.
The reason it works with the Skyrocket and the Note is because those two phones DO have the capability to receive both bands for AWS. (1700 and 2100 mhz UMTS)

[Q] What's the Difference between the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3" i9200 & i9205?

[Q] What's the Difference between the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3" i9200 & i9205?
I saw I believe one was released May 2013 and the other June 2013
On eBay i9205 says LTE, but doesn't the i9200 have LTE also, or is that it one's international and the other is domestic USA?
Ohh and why no Galaxy Mega forum yet?
Scratch that, clicked one other link in Google and yes i9200 - International HSDPA / i9205 - LTE
Besides the LTE do the two phones have anything else different?
Mostly interested if the addition of the LTE chip on the i9205 will affect its performance/battery life compared to the i9200?
I ask this because I never buy LTE phones, never used it and don't intend to for now so no need for it,
but I cannot find the 3G i9200 anywhere in Europe to buy it. Only the LTE i9205.
If it has no performance/battery loss then I will be "forced" to buy the LTE version and be done with it.
I will really appreciated if someone can give me an answer to my concerns. Thanks.
I believe that the only different is that I9205 is with 4G technology when I9200 with 3G only.
I9200 has a FM Radio
I9205 does not.

Galaxy Mega 6.3 FM radio

I know that 3G version has FM Radio but LTE version doesn't have it. Is it because of the hardware or the radio chip is already inside but it doesn't show in the OS like the Nokia Lumia phones?
Even though Mega 6.3 and S4 mini has the same processor, S4 mini LTE version has FM Radio but Mega 6.3 LTE version doesn't have it.

[Q] Can Download Booster be ported?

T-Mobile is the only carrier in the US who is including the Download Booster in the S5's Stock Roms. So, here's two questions about the feature:
Assuming it is software specific and that ATT, Verizon, Sprint shut off the feature within the rom (ATT have said they may include it in a later update), then would it be able to be ported to other carriers' S5s?
And would the feature be able to be ported to other T-Mobile Galaxy devices such as the S4 and Note 3, or is limited by hardware?
Thanks

Can radio be changed to work with T-Mobile?

I would really LOVE to get my hands on a Galaxy S4 Zoom or the new Galaxy K Zoom, but unfortunately we are out of luck here in the U.S.
Would it be possible to take the radio out of one of these phones and swap it out with a radio compatible with T-Mobile?
