Hi, does anyone know which apk(s) are needed to get Ultra Power Saving to work, I have stripped down simplRom and have tried to figure out which app(s) I need to get UPS to work but cannot get it to work no matter what combo of apps I reinstall... (I have re-installed the 3 emergency apps and changed permissions but still nothing...) any help would be great thanks.
EDIT: Wrong forum, apologies.

Hi all,
While removing bloatware from my Galaxy Tab (after restoring back from CM9), I accidentally removed the pen memo and pen memo floating app using Titanium Backup. As someone recently got me a stylus for my birthday (and having disdained them for a long time), I'm curious to see if these work well after all. Can anyone upload the APKs for these two programs (the main app alone would be fine as well)? Greatly appreciated, thanks!
P.S. : I don't know if I'm missing something really obvious, but the first thing I tried was to pull the APKs out of the .img file I flashed to restore the device to stock, and I'm having no luck whatsoever opening it through Windows, Mac OS X, or Ubuntu. Anyone know the way of doing this so I don't have to bother everyone about the matter? Thanks!

Amm.. can you make yourself clear? You are on Stock HC3.2 and dont have stock apps? u should have when u say u re flashed to stock.
If u havent got stock ROMs get it from here if u have GT-P7510 or here if u have GT-P7500. you have to flash using your PC with Odin3-v1.85 and putting your tab in download mode.
Hey,
I did have the stock apps to begin with, but if you look at my post you'll see I was removing unnecessary applications via Titanium Backup. Usually I don't use the pen memo applications, so I removed it without thinking too much about it (and didn't realize it until later, after I'd set up the device). It's not a critical loss, but I would appreciate it if anyone had the APK handy.
I would also like to have this apk. I'm on AOSP JB ALPHA and this apk it really great. Also if someone has Accuweather apk from stock rom....
So I went a little app uninstalling crazy after rooting my phone while trying to get rid of the Verizon bloatware. One of the things I uninstalled was the default keyboard and now I'm having some trouble.
My work email requires the phone to be encrypted, but when I do that I can't get past boot encryption! I have no keyboard showing up anymore.
I've factory reset the phone a few times and don't have the list of things I uninstalled anymore, dumbass move I know.
Does anyone know the name of or have a link to the default keyboard that comes installed? Or know how to get a keyboard to show up on the boot encryption?

Installed and just added encryption and still no keyboard at boot :crying:
I'm thinking I might just return the phone today since I got it very recently.
Just an fyi, in the future use titanium backup, our something similar to, to freeze the apps not delete them. That way if you mess something up you can just unfreeze them. I suppose you're also on me7?
You could Odin back to stock and then re-root. I'd think that would fix the issue.
Try to Odin back to stock like wolfgrrl said and don't forget a nandroid backup,backup,backup..,lol
Don't Odin that's a waste of time. I did the same thing. Just download a ROM that is not themed and pull the SamsungIME.apk file then push to system apps via root explorer. Set permission then reboot. Super simple. I have an apk for it. Just pm me and I'll send you a drop box link.

Hey man,
Can you got the solution for this issue?
Since 2 hours, I got the same problem in my S4 (KitKat). I tried installing stock keyboard zip (androidfilehost.com/?fid=23032113221600607), but it doesn't work.
Pls, help me. I have my phone unavailable.
Hi all,
So my Sony Xperia Z tablet is currently caught in a bootloop which stops only if I switch off using the volume up button and break the cycle or as I did the first time let the battery die - great.
How I've got there is as follows: I gained root access through Towelroot (great little bit of tech) and through the No Bloat app took out unnecessary system files such as 'Drive', 'Album' and widgets that I never used. This worked fine and most of my other apps were unaffected. I did however take out some of the files that were oddly named and didn't appear to be linked to anything I used and this did affect some things like FB messenger and the functionality of the tablet as a whole. So...I decided after some time to restore all the system files I'd uninstalled (but backuped incase). It was after restoring everything hoping to start a fresh that the reboot loop started and since I've not had enough time to access No Bloat to question what has caused it.
So I'm wondering what I can do - PC Companion only picks up the tablet for 5 - 10 seconds before it disconnects and I can get through to the tablet during the boot for all of about 10 seconds - not enough time to do anything unless it's within a few clicks!? I have some very valuable files to me (such as 15,000 words of my new novel, photos etc which aren't backed up) and so I'm reluctant to try to restore to factory settings via PC Companion just yet.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what system files might be the cause of the issue or any routes around backing up the tablet if it's powered down? I had the not most recent system update up but one installed...
If you've got ideas then please do let me know? I really don't want to lose my files
Thanks in advance,

99% you deleted files needed for Android to boot/work. Use flashtool to flash the firmware you have (you didn't specify tablet and firmware versions) installed. To save your valuable information you need to perform flashing without wipes.
Hello, Thanks for all your help so far in rooting my Padfone X Mini. It's been incredibly useful in removing extra bloat and speeding up my device. Unfortunately I went just too far and deleted an app that I needed. I'm wondering if anyone can supply me with a copy of the APK for the ASUS Splendid app. It looks like the version I was using was 1.1.0.140618. I've tried some of the other downloads I've found of newer versions and they just crash every time I try to do anything. I rather liked the reading mode, but just wasn't paying attention when I got uninstall trigger happy.
Thanks in advance!

Click on the Dropbox link.
Thanks!
Tried installing it. Even copied it to /system/apps and installed from there. No matter what I do, it always crashes when I try to enable reading mode via the drop down quick settings.

You may just be best off using one of the ROM backups and starting over. I've learned to freeze an app first with titanium and then delete if no problems arise.
Well, I ended up just wiping it, installing a fresh factory ROM (since the stripped version had it missing as well) and re-removing the system app bloatware. I did it a little more carefully this time, using TB to freeze them first to check for problems. This time I'm good to go. Several apps already installed and more than a GB left. Finally this phone is usable.
So I have quite an amount of questions for my own phone. No one here seems to know how to solve my problems, not even the community in another forum I'm part of.
First of all, I'm using Lenovo S650, Android 4.2.2, with firmware S650_ROW_S305_140820, rooted and removed some system apps.
1. What does S650_ROW_S308_150121 contain? Does it fix graphic issues? I have some apps that show black on parts that shouldn't have. The worst part is everything looks fine at the time of display rotation, pressing Home Button or even a Screenshot. But only for that second. I believe that this update might fix these apps' issues.
Some of the apps that have graphic issues/ won't successfully start: Thomas Was Alone, Mystery Room Layton Brothers, The Sandbox, Monument Valley.
2. I've read that removing System Apps might be the issue. But how do I recover them? Factory Reset? If so, where is this option located?
3. I already tried updating several times but update keeps failing and I already have a backup of the .zip file. But in addition to above, What can Titanium Backup do backup of? Installed apps and saves? Or is there another way to update my firmware without the use of Factory Reset? A Custom Rom?
I hope that someone could help me and fix everything.
