There isn't much about your device on XDA
Here are links to a couple of threads
How to root lenovo a6000
and
[Q] How to root lenovo A6000
Because there is not a specific forum for your device, this thread will be moved to Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
there is solution dont worry.u have to follow these below steps
1)download an official lenovo a6000 rom(kitkat or lollipop whatevr i recommend kitkat)
2)use adb(android debug bridge) or sd card to apply the new update
3)it will take 3-4 minutes...then your done..
hope it works...it worked for me.

Well, you must disable signature verification, then re-flash. If it still does not work, try with a different recovery.
OR follow these instructions on how i fixed a bricked a6000:
"forum.xda-developers.com/chef-central/android/unbrick-lenovo-a6000-plus-lenovo-a6000-t3137247/page5#post65072225"
To download+install and learn how to use the minimal ADB and fastboot check out techolacy:
Download+install - "www.techolaty.com/94/minimal-adb-and-fastboot-tutorial.html"
Using the ADB - "www.techolaty.com/1481/how-to-install-cwm-root-lenovo-a6000-smartphone.html"
NOTE: If you're not good with adb, this will help you to fix the bricked phone (re-guarding the above link in xda)
*Read the websites carefully*(Line by line, trust me you dont want to miss anything)

Hi,
I'm new to this forum.
Seeking help from the expert.
Recently I have successfully upgrade my Galaxy Tab GT-P1000 to Jelly Bean 4.2.2
Then I help my friend to upgrade his.
However, I got stuck.
Below is the sequence I performed before I got stuck:
1. The Tab was on firmware 2.3.3 version
2. I root and install clockworkmod using CF-Root-TAB7_XX_OXA_JQ1-v3.3-CWM3RFS file.
3. I performed backup
4. Then I follow the instruction written in one of the site for upgrade to Jelly Bean 4.2.2 i.e. wipe data/factory reset and "wipe cache partition and wipe Dalvik cache.
5. Load CM10.1 Android 4.2.2 custom ROM
6. Then it reboot to Cyanogen but I had trouble to load google app package. tried a couple of time it went back to main menu.
7. This is when thing went wrong. I restore back from the back up I did earlier. Restore was successful but reboot and hang.
8. Then I powered off again. Restart using (power and volume +) then I've got error message such as
E: unknown volume for path [/system],
E: unknown process volume! Skipping...
E: unknown volume for path [/ data]
etc, etc...
Now the tab is unusable. Kindly advice how to proceed.
Thank you

Hi,
I decided to flash the Cosmic ROM on my rooted Quattro. I downloaded the rom to sdcard0, but now when I booted into the CWM, I am getting the following menu options:
reboot system now
Apply update from ADB
Apply update from SDCARD
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
apply update from cache
#MANUAL MCDE#
--Apply Multi-CSC..
Applied the CSC code:INS
Successfully applied multi-CSC
When I chose "apply update from SDCARD", I got no options, except the one which took me back me to the CWM main menu. The output was:
#MANUAL MCDE#
--Apply Multi-CSC..
Applied the CSC code:INS
Successfully applied multi-CSC
E: unknown volume for path [/SDCARD]
On the other hand, when I was rooting my phone, I had seen an option of "install .zip", but I can't see it now. Can you tell me what can I do to flash the rom now?
Please forgive me if this is a very silly question because as you may realise I am a noob to this Android world.
Best Regards
CWM

I followed the steps as stated at http://trueandroid.com/install-cloc...-4-5-on-galaxy-grand-quattro-gt-i8552-how-to/
But, I am getting the same menu as mentioned in the first post of the topic.
Edit 1:
At the time of rooting, I had followed the steps as mentioned at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1kEc7GipYU and flashed with CWM Recovery 6.0.4.5. So, shouldn't the CWM be present there in my phone as it is already rooted?

After rooting the phone will not have CWM, root only give permission to modify the system.
Do this, after flashing CWM (not root) dont let the phone boot normaly, instead boot on recovery (home + vol up), and then go and select option to reboot system then "Disable flash recovery" will appear, select "yes".
The stock rom flash stock recovery after boot so you will lose the CWM, so doing what I say this wont happen [emoji6]
