Hello,
Firsth of all sorry for my bad english
Some days ago i try to transfer all my photos from internal memory to SD card. (sd card/DCIM/Camera).
And i THINK that all photos pasted just fine (I open albums(galery) and all images are there).
Today i open my albums (galery) and photos are gone . I connect my phone (THL T11) whit my pc and i found most of my images in: SD Card/DCIM/.thumbnails
But all images are smaller and quality is poor.
Please help me is there any chance to return my images on phone ?
Thank you.
BUMP
Anyone whit some ideas please ?

Hi all, this is actually my wife's phone. We both have an HD2 but I have "upgraded" mine to Windows Phone 7.. she wasn't too keen on that so is still running WinMo6.5..
We've had these phones for about 18 months and they've been going great so far, but today she moved all of the photos from her SD card onto her PC .. and ever since the photo gallery stopped showing any new photos!
Now there are 2 symptoms:
1) Taking a new photo with the camera does not show in the photo gallery.. looking on the SD card with file-explorer or the PC connection shows an empty image file (zero byte file size).
2) Copying an image file previously taken using the HD2 manually into the "DCIM 100Media" folder is ALSO not showing the Photo Gallery.
We have tried numerous reboots and have tried deleting the album.cache file.
She is in Scotland at the moment (I live near London) so I don't have exact ROM details but we did update to the latest official T-Mobile UK ROM about 2 months ago.
I haven't been able to re-install the OS (this only happened today) ..
so .. anyone got any ideas ???
PlsThxBye!
You can try this procedure:
- shut down the HD2
- remove SD from HD2
- connect SD to PC by using a card reader
- delete DCIM and Application Data folders
- insert SD in HD2
- power on and see what happens...
You might check that card for system file errors while it's still plugged in.
you might lose some data if that's the case
I took pics with my X10i whilst roaming and when my phone alerted me to delete some pics to create more space, i deleted from the gallery but instead of deleting the folder i selected it deleted all my pics. i thought i was lost but after playing around and searching my files and folders on the SD card, i found the Hi-res image cache and noted that all my pics are there... what a relief... but now my question is : How do i recover these files from cache as when i connected to my pc(running win7) it shows the files and i am able to open via internet explorer but when i click "save as" it says windows cannot find file specified"... please help
Try undelete (for android) or google for files recovery for pc. It should restere them but I don't think it will be high def.

Hey guys
Can you tell me where the photos taken by the camera are stored, if there is no SD-card is inserted?
Background: My little sister's S2 got damaged by water and the touchscreen is not working anymore.
I installed Clockworkmod, inserted a sd-card and did a backup of the phone. Afterwards I extracted the archive
on my computer BUT i couldn't find any photos form the camera.
She pretends that there have been a lot of photos in the gallery before this little accident ...
Greetings
They should be located at /sdcard/DCIM resp. /storage/sdcard/DCIM (which is the same location), but how did you do the backup? A nandroid backup? Did you look at the correct partition?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
The photos are stored on the internal USB storage in the DCIM folder
Hello everyone, i got a problem
i just bought a new phone (huawei ascend g630). I rooted it with towelroot.
today i opened my gallery and there where no pictures
i opened whatsapp, and i couldnt send stuff like pictures.
and i could only make a picture when my external sd card was inside my phone.
so it looked like my entire internal storage was gone, but with the app: root browser. i could see everything inside my internal storage.
so i think my internal storage cant connect to anything???
there is no cyanogenmod for my phone yet / cant find firmware for phone
i also cant find a tread about this.
I hope someone can help me!
(sorry my english is really bad ;p )
thanks
Roeland
I take pictures with the camera and they saved on the sd card.
when i wanted to send some of them on whatsapp i notices that i have files with "x" on them in the whatsapp add file option.
then, it's dissappear and i couldn't find the pictures at all.
it's just from specific time and the pictures before are fine.
I was looking for them at the gallary via quick pic and also via file explorer but nothig.
I tried some recover pc programs including sandisk RescuePRO Deluxe and no pictures or files at all.
I changed the option to save the pics on the internal memory and i'm scared to change it back.
I have original G5 stock rom and no root + 64gb sd card sandisk original.
Anyone knows if i can find the lost pics? it's very important to me.

root it and try disk digger but what ever you do dont do a lot on the device as downloads and such can overwrite the file locations where the pictures where.
it's in the DCIM folder.
and i prefer not to do root cause then the warranty will cancele.
